1. Open FF and type about:config then press enter.2. Type "pipe" (without the "") in the text box at the top of the page.3. Change the first and last setting to true by double-clicking on them.4. Change the middle setting from 4 to 16.5. Close FF and open it up again. It should be quite a bit faster.

this has probably been done a few times, but i'm curious to peoples thoughts on windows and mac; what's your opinion on the two and which do you prefer (or do you like them both?)?I myself lean towards mac slightly as if i become a graphic designer of some sort i will most likely be using them; i also like the os and their style.I do like windows too though, pc games are great fun and compatibility isnt a worry.so, comments? thoughts? mental ramblings?
