What does it mean to be human?

It means we can ask & answer these Question's

I think the fact that humans have intelligence means that we can feel and describe our emotions more deeply than other animals can. I think intelligence also allows us to feel more emotions because we are able to process what has happened to us/others more deeply than animals can.

What about young people who commit suicide or murder?

So, Soul, Morality, the will to live, and other symbolic icons; represent " Humanity " , then those people can not be human, correct? (hmm.._)

 

It's a valid point to some extent,

However there is much room for critisism;

1) Physical

2) Moral

Physical, which are the clear-cut differences.

But what about moral? Animals may share a lot in common with humans but there is no such concept as Morality in them.

Lets not confuse morality with emotion.

So .. we're distinct from animals because we have morals? um, know the Diff between right & wrong, or simply having a conscience*. *will an animal feel guilt after it has killed something??

How much of this actually works?I'd rather not tweak areas that shouldnt be messed with if its going to Muck up another area on my comp. agreed. ^ interesting points, i must say.Feelings/emotion differ from modalities such as dection of pain (more correctly "nociception"; plus temp, pressure, crude touch, etc etc etc) . U cnt suggest that coz an animal feels pain/nociception (for example) aswell, they too share the same emotions as humans....certainly an animal may have emotions, but to what extent? I mean logically, emotion = imabalance of chemicals in the brain, equally fesable to occur in any animal, thus they have emotions but whats attributed to these emotions?

noka is v.reliable, Nokia was the only brand i used up until i was fourteen, then i used sony eric. &that was shyte back then, now im on to a samsung. still dont know which brand is best but its prob safer to say its Nokia.

i had a nokia 8800.. meh, stoopid phone. it might look sexy but in terms of functionality its cruddy & no use to someone on the go because the battery life is awful.I now have a samsung D600, i know its an old phone &nothing compared to the looks of an 8800, but its VERY reliable, &i lovee it cos u can put privacy on almost everything so you dont have little mutt's going through your things. LOL x

I think you're slightly deluded babe. Not everyone is in it for the love. I mean, if I can find a guy I love and be in a happy relationship then great! Just show me the guy now! Sad fact is, you don't always find someone you love that quick, and I know that most of the relationships I'm in are purely sexual... I'm also in it for the money. If I can get both sexual pleasure and money... well, money spent on me, then I'm happy. I'm in it for the money and the sex... tut tut tut, bad me. So sue me!

 

Although you can be in a relationship where it's 'cos you love each other and you don't care about the money... it doesn't always happen. Anyway, I hope you find the right girl, or boy, for you.

i chose "other" - because in my opinion, music today has no clear-cut style, there are so many specific influences in songs these days! But i love everything, you'd be supriised! ii liike R&B, Rock, HipHop, Garage, Grime, Dancehall, Niche, Bhangra, Indie, Dance, Arabic, Rai&B, Latin, Dance, Reggeaton. - Anything that sounds good to me. im not a fan of the old hard-core rock or death-metal stuff though, its just not me =|
