  1. The picture looks fake. It seems it had been photoshop-ed. And that 'scrap metal' cost US$977mil? That is rather adsurd. But I found it quite funny that they had their independence. Which superpower conquered such small 'scrap metal', I would really like to know
  2. Oh man! I didn't know Window Vista Ultimate need such high requirements. Guess I'll have to stick with Home Basics or Business. Before I go, I need some suggestions. My laptop is Window Vista capable (Intel Centrino Duo), each processor with the frequency of 1.83GHz and two 987MHz DDR2 512MB RAM. Should I buy RAM with faster speed or just save up my money and buy DirectX10 laptop graphic card in the future? I want to maximise Window Vista's feature.
  3. Mind telling us which picture hosting website you used? Please let me know so that I can set a rules in my forum to prevent any damage from occuring.
  4. Year 2007, world will be dominated by my army! Nah, just joking.... I'm just surprised why there isn't any topic about new year celebration in Xisto forum. So, I opened a topic and wanted to share my new year celebration experience. It was awesome, especially that I will be leaving my country to England soon. My oh my, I really had a wonderful time with my friends. The streets were filled with speakers and humongous sub-woofers right at the middle, and the local DJs were playing their techno musics... The sub-woofers were so powerful that i can feel the bass wave 500 meters away. And of course, there were fireworks... truth to be told, i didn't quite like this years fireworks, it lasted for a short while... but the fireworks were beautiful... at the same time came the excitement... everyone were counting down and then shouting and kissing... and after the fireworks... everyone went home to sleep. So how was ur new year celebration?
  5. I just faced one of my worst day experience, maybe not as worst as yours...School's prom night was last night, and all my friends actually attended, almost 90% of my schoolmates went. Prom ticket was 140 dollars, and I havent bought it on the day before prom night. Early morning of the day prom night was held, my father flew off for a business trip and I didn't even know it. When i woke up, I couldn't asked for 140 dollars. Worse, he was my only transport to prom. I regretted that night, and felt jealous. If only i told my father that i was going prom, he wouldn't have go for the business trip, which wasnt necessary.
  6. Ah.. you from Asia too? Although many internet users in my country have complained about the internet disruption, but mine was still okay, at least it's still running smoothly and I'm still able to play international online games, eg Guild Wars . Anyways, I was completely saddened by the us asian's mental thinking. I had a conversation with my friend on msn, and this is how it went...Me: Taiwan earthquake... that's sad, my aunt live there...Friend: Yeap! It sucks! Made my internet slow... >.<Me: Haha.... I'm wondering how the citizens are there, hope my aunt is fine.... Friend: I don't give a damn! I want back my internet...Me: Aren't you concern about the injured ppl and the death tolls in Taiwan?Friend: I don't care! I want my internet first! I'm so lost without my internet! Once my internet is okay, then I'll start to be concern about the victims....To be honest, I did a survey in another forum, and most internet users have the same attitude as this friend of mine. How I wish they were the victim! And I received news from my parents that my aunt was also one of those earthquake victims, except she suffered a minor injury. My conclusion is most asians are concerned about the internet than the victim's life... And that really sucks!
  7. First of all, there was a lot of action going on, but wasn't exciting enough. Okay, I admit I did not read Eragon novel, but I assumed it would be something like Lord of the Rings, at least it is way better than Eragon. I wasted money buying tickets... I want a refund!
  8. I really do not know why couples go for trial separation. I mean, it's seriously dangerous. If a girl ask for a trial separation, most of them would mean they wanna break up with you, and that would seriously hurt me. I've experienced enough broke-ups
  9. I wouldn't on my comp 24/7. My hard-disk heats up easily and dmg easily. Also, my internet security is very vulnarable to virus attacks if i on my comp 24/7
  10. Invite him out to a coffee shop and explain that you do not want to have a relationship with him. But just don't tipped him off, you never know what gentlemen can do when they're piss. If that doesn't work, perhaps you can try it my way, although I'm a boy. I invited a girl who loved me crazily but I never liked her. I explained to her that I had been taken, but she didn't believe me. Next step, I did what my mum told me - dig my nose and scratch my armpit in front of her. And it WORK! She left me off.
  11. Politics and religion mix with love is pretty serious in my country (Islamic country). Back at high school, I was in love with a muslim girl. She was kind and pretty and sort of thing. She's not very loyal to Islam teaching to be honest, she is more like a modern city girl and a free thinker. She helped me a lot, and I truly loved her. We had a relation back at high school and things were going well. Unfortunately, our relation was short-term, mainly due to our different religion and race. In my country, whenever a person is in a relationship with a muslim, he or she must convert to Islam by our country's law. This certainly the convertion of one person to Islam isn't part of the Islamic law or in the teaching of al-Quran. I'm very certain because the 'genuine' al-Quran does not reject human rights. But my country implemented such laws. I wanted to reconsidered our relationship with her. I planned that we should start a new relationsip and marry her in overseas. However, I couldnt find her. She changed her contact number and that really saddened me. The only way I can contact her is through Msn messenger, she hasnt change that yet. But she seldom go online. It seriously hurts me back then. But i relised that maybe i wasnt meant to be in a relationship with her.
  12. I considered you guys lucky, I got rejected back at junior high and it was humiliating. Things happen like this.I fell in love with this lady in my class and also one of my best-est friend. We usually passed secret notes to each other during class, writing down how boring the class was and stuff like that. Later one day, I couldn't help myself and I wrote down that I love her indeed and wanted her to be my girlfriend. After she received the note from me, she got shocked. I can see her appearance as if she saw a ghost. That day onwards, she never spoke to me. Damn, that was a total shame of myself.
  13. I don't mind marrying a girl who is a different race than me. As long they're sexy and hot, I'll definitely be their boyfriend. Okay, maybe not all the time. Truth to be told, I had a little feelings with this pretty young lady back in school. She was a cute one, and different race than mine. But realising that my country implemented a law whereby I should convert to her religion, I reconsidered our relation. It's stupid, I know, that is not true love. Unfortunately, I was more loyal to my own religion. I lied again, I'm a free thinker actually.
  14. Isn't your first kiss should be with your girlfriend???
  15. I seriously doubt it since the only way to block a computer virus is a strong security system. There's no difference in the security network between the genuine and pirated Window XP, meaning the virus can still attack a computer with a genuine operating system if not careful.Secondly, PC users are smart enough and not easily fooled. Some of my friends did crack pirated Window XP into a full original or genuine version. They can still receive updates from microsoft without microsoft knowing that they're actually using a pirated one.
  16. That might be useful for me..... thx for the info dude.
  17. Yesterday night was my school's prom night and almost everybody attended it. It was just too bad for me that i didnt go because I didn't have any transportation. My mum flew to England on vacation. My dad went for a business trip without me knowing until afternoon of the prom day. Just, tough luck. Most of my friends were completely dissapointed of my absence.
  18. Devil May Cry 3. It's hard, insanely hard. I mean, the bosses aren't easy even on easy mode.
  19. DotA!!! In blizzard's battlenet. Victory in the game is all about teamwork performance and good strategy and right timing. Overall, it's a cool game, but if played to much, I'll get bored over it.
  20. You guys wanna see next gen? Then take a look at this. Two people had actually tore their XBox 360 apart and took out the motherboard. They later transform the whole thing into a XBox 360 labtop Links here ---> http://benheck.com/Games/Xbox360/x360_page_1.htm
  21. PS3 has a lot of room for changes. The weight of the console itself is 7kg, which will be a problem for me if I have to carry it with me during holidays.
  22. I live in a 3-storeys bungalo, so yeah, I have stairs in my house, but mine is concrete and not made of wood. It freaks me out to walk a creeking wooden stairs.
  23. If you have the cash, bring her to Paris. Most girls love Paris, but I dunno why.
  24. Harry Potter 7th edition will be the final release? Well, that kinda sucks. The girls in my class will definitely cry if they hear this news.. But the name given for the 7th edition looks cool, wonder what would the story line be?
  25. Women are monsters when they have PMS. Otherwise, they are simply toy figures to boyz....
