I've always thought.. "If my eyesight gets really bad, then I'll consider this expensive laser surgery". That's if I have a lot of money in the future. But personally, I would choose the most natural option, because I'm that kind of person - like to improve naturally I think those eye exercises seem pretty interesting. I would probably resort to trying a few and if I see a change (positive change), then continue (if they promise the eyesight to become increasingly better and possibly 20/20?). Just a personal opinion. But I'm also a person who must always consider and compare prices x) Baha, perhaps that might be a reason why I also prefer natural methods. ^ That sounds a bit scary.. Kind of put me off. What if you do lasik eye surgery more than once? keep making flaps in your eye? heh, interesting to learn this, though. I've even been a bit nervous of using eye/tear drops o.o' Even if a relaxing drug such as valium is used. Anyways. Just on a personal thought, if it was me, I would probably try out some more of those eye exercises to see if they work to make the eyesight better. Then if you're not a scaredy-cat like me and have the money for it, it's your choice whether you want to proceed with the eye surgery

Why And When Did You Make Your First Site?
Batteries replied to seanooi's topic in General Discussion
It was my friend who first introduced to me that you could make your very own website online ._.;heh, we made one together. It's really tacky though, and is probably all broken down by now because it was many, many years ago. Anyways, we used the pagebuilder in geocities. After that collab website that we never got to update much (like once a year), I decided I wanted to make my own one, and I know she made her own one as well. At some stage I ditched the pagebuilder in geocities because I felt I didn't need to be making these beginner things anymore B-D sso, I started to learn html and make sites out of coding them myself (by that time, I had made lots of unfinished, pagebuilder-built useless sites that'd take lots and lots of bandwidth because of all the random pictures and stuff everywhere xD). So erm, over the times I've made a lot of useless unfinished sites, ditched them, started over, etc, etc. I know that geocities only provided 15mb of space. It wasn't much compared to the other hosts I had searched for with 50mb, etc. I stayed with freewebs for a while, made a few, ditched them and since the start I have constantly wanting to improve and expand on knowledge of website making. This time I wanna learn coding in php, once I get some hosting space o_o; eh, but as I procastinate a lot, I just hope I can actually settle with a final site to have everything I've wanted to put on it on there, and not half-done like all the others ;PI pretty much like to have my own site because it's nice to see something you made and call it your own, customize it and have everything you like on it, personalised to your custom liking xD And I guess it kind of can be called a hobby too? even if most of its just unfinished, heh.Theres my story. x_x;; -
I used to go on this a lot, the uk one. In my eyes it'll always be just a chat room, and there actually isn't much to dress your avatar up in if you don't pay .. eh. I do admit, it is a nice way to meet people (if they don't turn into stuck up snobs obsessed with virtual furniture, that is ), and I really like being creative on it, like designing rooms and games, etc. I only come on for the reasons of creativity and my friends. It's getting terrible how more and more things must revolve around paying real money for them.Sulake really is making lots of big money out of this. When you go on there, you'll see the amazing amount of people who actually pay real money for all this virtual pursuit. It's crazy. But overall, it's alright as long as you don't turn crazy yourself ;P

Before google became so popular (I don't know when it actually came out though o_o), I used dogpile as the search engine. Otherwise yahoo, but I never really used that too much anyways. Hah, then google became top of the mountain and it's a pretty good homepage to have too, I guess.

I don't play this often or have in a while, but I do think it's really exciting and fun to play when somebody's got racquets and a shuttlecock around xD its just so fun. If there was, and if I could, I would play it at school

I read this little tip somewhere that when you got dark sports or bags under your eye, keep a metal spoon in the fridge/freezer and put it on your eye when you get them. I've never tried it, though. but it just works the same as something cold being put there. I never thought it should be done in the morning, though. ;oThanks for those tips, by the way.I'll do the simple things for now- drink more water and get some more sleep

A Question... Music related in a way
Batteries replied to tdktank59's topic in Websites and Web Designing
If they are an unsigned band then it shouldn't be too much of a problem. hmm, publishers website, though. But you're admin of the band's official site. I'm sure if the band approved then it wouldn't be a problem for you to get it up there.; it's their music? *Edited* Darn, you weren't asking for something like a jukebox for the site I had a suggestion there, but that'd be a little off topic, eh. -
Some of my friends are quite up there, top of the grades, so people get pretty competitive with their grades and stuff. It's pretty important that you hang out with the right people. Whoever or whatever you hang out with, you will eventually turn out like them., or something. I like our group of friends, we have a ball and we play sorts of games at lunch breaks and in most of our classes, we're together or with one other friend, which is cool. These are some of the things that makes the social life at school a little more bearable. Otherwise striving to get higher and better grades is the priority in my mind for school becauuusee.. I pretty much wanna end up somewhere good in the future and actually have a future :)Dispite the lazy environment and influences around me, I think it's pretty important to still have what you wanna achieve in your mind. Some nice people to talk to and play with, and a mind to strive forward in grades :]

I also have really skinny wrists. And you can see the bone, hah o_O;;but I haven't worried about it too much. I'm sure you shouldn't suffer too much.In fact annorexia is a disorder that comes from their mind, when they look in the mirror and think they're fat all over, so they get into an eating disorder. It's really terrible how people can use a disorder that many people in the world have as an insult or anything. It would be good to let them understand that, and I'm sure you're not annorexic :)Sometimes when I'm sitting or something and somebody comes and grabs my wrist and looks at it or compares it, I know they'll get these sorts of thoughts too. The best I'd have to do is ignore it because I eat as much as I can, always.By the way, do those wrist curls actually work to make your wrists wider? because my piano teacher tells me to do these finger and wrist exercises. i haven't really seen a change yet, though.

My mum told me cold things make more flow o_.; so aw, no ice-cream for me =[i don't notice if it helps, but i really like eating chocolate at that time XD and bananas are good for cramps, but they're so expensive noww o.O so I guess chocolate will do. Then my friend told me coke was really good for it but uh, it's cold. hehe.

What Do You Think About Women ? not your mother
Batteries replied to m107's topic in General Discussion
Sounds a lot like my mum to my dad Hehe, that's funny. Both sexes of the humans have something positive and something negative about them. Men are usually stronger than women physically. It is a fact that females can wear their headphones and listen to music while they work, while males can't (I don't know, my teacher told so). Women have better hearing, while men have better sight? Heard this, also. *shrug* -
Meditation - How Does It Work? Key to Meditation and Spirituality
Batteries replied to Webber's topic in Health & Fitness
Also, an interesting fact..Meditation makes your brain bigger. I think the part which it makes grow is .. the cerebral cortex? As the same happens to musicians, etc. It's not a bad thing, I just thought it'd be an interesting fact to share on the topic of meditation :] I read this on a website, though I'm not sure if I can still retrace it. -
Most of my friends have recently been into that kind of space making, etc. I refuse to go to any site with 'piczo' in it. The fact that it has all these irritating ads that block parts of the pages, or that have spyware in them turns me off. Also, they are quite heavy because people do just stuff their pictures, videos, music all over and I don't want my browser to crash n_n;The points mentioned in most of these posts are true, and I agree. It is stupid when people claim their sites are so good when they've just built it on these kinds of things, but I tend to stray away from those sites becausee.. for the above reasons and they would probably be pretty boring. I also see many cluttered pages on myspace, ones with real tiny text, which are bad for the eyes and whatnot. erm, they should resize their pictures. 8-)The website building option when you choose 'beginner' plan in freewebs is merely just a template. of course they don't look too good. all clones. but hey, whatever floats their boats. at least they don't have all these spyware-infected popups and ads all over.. eh, though I don't know how freewebs is changing with their ad system at the moment..I started my interest in making websites using page builder in geocities. I think that's a pretty good tool for beginners to use because it's better than piczo and geocities only has this light little ad that you can minimize. After that, I got bored of how tacky it always looked, though. So then I learnt coding in html :] Although the space in geocities is so minimal, it doesn't really matter, for they're just beginning. Sometimes people ask me where they go to build a website. I never suggest piczo. I'm not so so good at making websites, but I like to lead people to the right places when they wanna start, whether or not they eventually end up learning coding and moving up, I'm not going to tell them to use a host I refuse to view.
