Err--Dreamweaver? Oh. Well. I guess we all have our faults. Besides for the fact that you used dreamweaver, your site looks excellent. It's a tad image intensive, but so are all clan sites. Everything looks pretty slick, I'd give it an 85%. I'm half inclined to join it... but of course I suck. How much did you do by yourself? I used autotheme for a php-nuke project I once did. It worked pretty good, as long as you mangled it a little.

That's hilarious. Nice one. All very true. You should add:20. We don't use "lol".21. You're not a hacker, and nobody will believe you are one.

I'd go with the Desktop and PDA solution--err option. (I've been looking too long at webhosts...)Here's why:PDA's you can take with you all the time, and are very, very handy. Laptops you only take with you when you know you'll need it, and you're not going to use it to jot down notes.Desktops are far cheaper and easier to upgrade and tinker with. If you'll have time, they also are certainly better for games.

Not only that, but it also has phpBB preinstalled. That means that installing it is very easy--all you have to do is use the "Fantastico" script. You don't have to set it up by editting a config.php script and entering mySQL info. Very, very nice host. I hope you enjoy it!cPanelX is very, very handy.

Yeah, Age of Empires II is a pretty good game. I wouldn't say it's the best RTS game, however. I've always been a fan of the C&C series, and have always prefered C&C style gameplay. C&C1 and RA2 were probably two of my favorite RTS's.Age of Empires had something of a educational appeal which made every mom buy it. For some reason, everybody, gamer or not, has had this game since they were 10. Maybe that's why so many people still play it--many of those people may be non-gamers.

Sad News For Asia Tsunami or Tidal Waves and Earthquake
mistab replied to ashiezai's topic in General Discussion
I heard something about that, but how do they really know that? It's hard to make such a statement with any certainty regardless of what happened. When the water withdrew because of the oncoming tsunami, many people went out into where the water once was to see what was going on. From what I've heard, it withdrew as much as a mile in some locations--that is, a mile of exposed sea bed! That's amazing! -
Does This Work ? If So Please Tell Me and which country

Hmm--I'm just getting an error message. It's not working: Is it embedded? If that's the case, it might not be the best idea. Try adding further compression, or shortenning it. Otherwise, it will greatly annoy people, especially those with dial-up. (oh, and I'm from the central US) -
Well, "mistab" started out as Mr. B, but then it sort of became one word.My real last name ends with a name, and it happens to be very long. In one of the martial art schools I trained at, they used to call me "Mr. B", since it was a lot easier and to the point. So that's the story.

...and poorly acted, poorly scripted, and rediculously cheezy. That can't be good. As it is, they really have know way of predicting earthquakes. I'm sure after this they'll be putting much more effort into that. -

I had the original, and really didn't have the patience for it. I'd rather have some trigger-happy Halo fagfest or even play Counter Strike: Source.Recently, there's been a burst of good shooters. Halo2, HL2, Doom3 etc. Those I think will keep me busy.

Show Your Desktop ;) image max 640x480 link back to big on

All my desktops look very, very plain. No icons, just an ugly blue-ish green or black color. I'm used to it. Anything else looks ugly and cluttered.I don't like crappy fancy-dancy themes or backgrounds. -
Of course the PSP is probably going to cost more.I think Nintendo is rather notorious for taking crazy risks on their franchises. Most of the time, they succeed. Some of the odd features in the DS may soon become standard.I watched that happen to the rumble pack. When it was first released, (for Star Fox 64), it wasn't very good and mostly was a gimmick. That's what everybody thought it was, at least. Now, rumble packs add so much to the gameplay, and every system has 'em.

I think so, I don't know.__ As for modding my xbox, I may in the future. Or I may wait for the xbox2 and mod that. People have done really cool things with modded xboxes, like find extra superweapons (other than the scarab gun) in Halo2. I'm not sure how acurate the reports are, but still--it's pretty cool.

Sad News For Asia Tsunami or Tidal Waves and Earthquake

This is one of the biggest disasters of this era. It's right up there with 911. I don't really know why people aren't as devestated by it--I guess it seems more disconected than 911 was. Eitherway, I wish I could do something to help those people...I hope there won't be any more earthquakes, as some as suggested. That would be more than devestating!I also hope that they'll clean up those bodies quickly. As dooga said, disease is a big problem. I just watched a news reporter gag on live TV from the stench. -
It's really the only game site I ever use. I'm working on a FAQ as we speak, in fact. In my opinion, user submitted websites tend to be far better than corporate garbage. I mean, look at wikimedia. It's leagues beyond anything Encyclopedia Britanica could do. I sometimes go to Happy Puppy's. I remember when the puppy didn't have a black eye and actually WAS happy--does anybody other than me remember the old, old Happy Puppy from ~'95?

Hmm... it's rather hard to know what you're looking after, but I'd have to recomend Drum 'n' Bass (just 'cause I like it )Try:Ak1200AphroditeBad Company (or E|3 )DJ DaraDJ DieselboyPhotekSource DirectLook at music.downloads.com 's section under DnB. Then look at Jump-up if you want reggae influenced DnB, or Tech-step if you want techno influenced DnB.Really fun stuff. Take a listen (or two).

This thread is intended for all you happy Halo people to come up with some improvements for Halo 2.I'll start:1. How to make the needler decent, without making it any less needlerishMake it's shots always reflect off non-target material. Make it so that whenever they reflect off a non-target material, they will locate the nearest enemy and bounce off in that direction. Thus, this weapon would not only be good for shooting around corners, but for flushing people out of cover. It would be very, very useful. In team games, you could have one person have duel needlers and another something like SMG's. Whenever the oponent hides to regain his shields, the needler fellow just shoots the ground next to the oponent. Of course, they may have to make it non-duel-wieldable, otherwise it would be too good.2. ShieldsMake jackal and hunter shields just like normal weapons you can pick up. With duel wielding, you can wield a jackal shield in one hand and fire with a onehanded weapon with the other. When you pull the trigger for the shield, you hide behind it.With hunter shields, you would be severly demobilized, but they would offer better protection and allow you to also wield a two-handed weapon (since you could prop it up in a slot in the shield). Snipers rejoice!Just a few ideas. Tell me yours!
