in europe this game is named canis canem edit, which is latin for dog eat dog, and i think this is more appropriate title for this game, because you are not playing as a bully, but as a rebellious kid with a good heart that is trying to put things the right way, but he is good, not bad. the game itself i think is preety amazing, not violent as other rockstar games, which suprised me, but in a good way.so if yu like to play games like that, grand theft auto and alike, this just might be the game for you.

heh, i know that problem, no new content if you dont buy new chapters. as for the price, look at this that way: other mmorpgs have monthly fee, guild wars doesnt, and many other mmorpg are more expensive even when you buy it in the shop - guild wars are really cheap. it costs merly one day of work, and if you look at this that way- in six to four months, you have to work(not even hard work) for one lousy day, to being able to play new chapters, and thats really not much, for others mmorpgs with monthly fees you have to work once in two months, when you already have the game, and thats really not even that much or hard to do... so to conclude, anything can be done if you want it to be done...

hy, i was just wondering if there are any guilty gear fans here, since there is no topic.short presentation of game for those who are not familiar with the series:guilty gear is 2d fighting game, placed in a near future, where people find source of unlimited power, called Magic, and create living weapons - gears. gears soon turn on their masters, lead by gear commander, justice and a hundred years war begins. people than organize fighting tournament, in order to find one strong enough to challange and kill justice. in game you dont play with gears, only half-gears and humans(mostly), the only gear justice is awailable as an unlockable secret character, but is turnament illegal.game mechanics are quite complicated, you have many tactics with each characters, and there is no combo-based sistem, but you have to know how to react right in every given situation.good thing that game has is guard meter - if you fight your opponent, it lowers(for opponent) and your hits hurt him less, which means in long combos last hits will do little damage, thats why its better to do smaller combos, and guard meter rises when you block, so -turtle tactic- is not possible, because if you block long, when opponent hits you will do you double damage.you also have things as roman cancles, false roman cancles, dead angle attack(you attack when you cant-it luses your tension), which all need your tension meter to be high(it fill as you deal and recieve damage and when you move towards opponent), and burst-meter, which allows you to do dead angle attacks, special combos etc...another thing in this game is graphics. it might be 2d, but it is fantastic. there are explosions covering half the screen, backgrounds turning red when doing combos, detailed(i mean really detailed) fighters and backgrounds, attack animations are great(thats not just kick animation, i mean, when you hit someone, it shines, if he blocks, it makes circle around the hit spot ect.. that aimation). sometimes its actually hard to see whats happening over all the efects- like watching boss duel in some anima cartoon.if you intend to play it, its the best to play it with arcade stick. on keyboard you can be really fast, but you cant do special moves, because they require half-and -quarter circles back and forvard, and you cant really do that on keyboard, you can easyer do it with gamepad, but with gamepad you are slower, because you have one fnger for movement and one for attack buttons- on keyboard you have 3 for movement and 3-4 for attacks(as told, you cand to specials). so the best is arcade stick - you have one hand for movement(on joystick) and other hand with fingers on attack buttons ---> it combines all good and none bad things from gamepad and keyboard.there is really too much about this game to put it all in just one post, so if you think you might like it, try it, and i will try to keep up to date in this topic, so if anyone needs more information, feel free to ask.p.s. if anyne has lohitech wingles rumblepad cordless, please let me know if it is good gamepad and if it is good for 2d fighting games- i intend to buy it. you can also post about what controller you use for game and how it works for you.

i cant wait to play devil may cry 4, the only thing im little dissapointed is there is no more dante as a main character, because i really liked him(specially in devil may cry 3, in devil may cry 2 he was not good), allthou nero looks great too. the other thing im little dissapointed is that the game will be first available for consoles, which will cause me to bang my head to to the wall, just to get a little less nervous(belive me i am nervous when waiting for game while i know someone is allready playin it), until it gets converted and gets released for pc, which may take a while...

counter strike is good, but not as great as people think. old cs wasnt really even good, maybe at the beginning, because it was the first game of its type, but later it was just absurd seeing all the people playin it, because there are many better games around. cs-source is better, but in my oppinion, as i have allready told, there are better games. i rather play AA(americas army), enemy teritory(old now, but when it was released, and it was free, it was much better then cs, still people ignored it), joint operations(personaly my favourite, maybe not the best, 3 years old i think, but still with great graphics, large maps, wheicles, good ameplay...) as of the more modern ones, i think that absolute winner is battlefield 2, modern combat simulation(quite so), with generals, lots of new stuff in that kind of game, really cooperative, folks must play as a team together, knowing what theyr job description is . why playing cs, when there are much more better games around...thats my oppinion, unchanged

just a quick review of nightfall, which i have been playing hard since the hour it was released . i have not actually finished the game (completed all primary objectives), but i have gotten pretty good feeling about the game. it is good, no-one can say it is not, missions are well done, but there is a problem called heroes. it was supposed to be a great new twist to the game, but i have come to the sulfurous desert(almost end -game) and i havent done not one mission with human players. i sure hope this will be changed at the very end, because it is not good for MMO to be played alone, i mean, there is no point in that, since MMO-s should tend to be played people-with-people, noth people-computer(or player alone).otherwise, new professions are quite good, dervish is like wa/mo(meele weapons with spells and some healing) with hammer on steroides, but with good new approach to the game with enchantments, his skills and even slower than hammer scythe wielding.paragon on the other hand is like ranger with warrior armor, good support unit with shouts, but i havent really gotten into him, so i will report about that another time.another mentionable thing was in-game halloween event, which has taken place in lions arch and kamadan. cityes were decerated, and changed in the way of halloween. merchants were cacoons, there were ghouls, you really had to see it yourself, it was great. also mad king came, and just as last year entertained people with various games as "paper rock scissors" and "mad king says". he appeared evry 3 hours in cityes mentioned before, and at the end of each wisit he gave people pumpkin masks!!to conclude, a really good guild wars (extended) weekend is over, and i cant wait to continue exploring elona(by just finishing the game you explore really little, less than 50%)(forgive me for mistakes, spelling errors etc, but im really short on time, sorry)

company of heroes was made by the same group than warhammer 40.000, which is my favourite game, and they share quite some things together. tey re both preety bloody, althou company of heroes is brutal on a realistic way, while warhammer is fantasy-brutal, they both share a bug of shooting through the walls, etc... it is painfully obvious who made it.howewer, it is fantastic game, not realistic though, but it is one of few, if not the only, ACTION strategy game with a world war 2 theme. it is quite fascinating to see your solders looking for cower, swearing, when the enemy shows up. on the other hand, it is stupid to see your tanks rolling into battle with theyr backs forward, or when two tanks took too long finding the way, just bumping one other, mostly being on one spot...i must say it is quite hard too, and much depends on your clicking skills, like on warcraft 3, and the computer has that advantage he can "click"(or make order) many times at the same moment(more clicks simultanously), while you can only click once at the same moment, if you understand what im trying to say . the computer AI is not silly at all, it finds weak spots in your defense, attacks them - watch your back.whatewer, its an impressive piece of code, the graphics is quite good, you can zoom in really close and you feel like playing call of duty . recommanded for all who love to play good strategy, warhammer fans and world war 2 (games) fans.

heh, popups? almost forgot whats that since i use opera . i suggest you start using it too, its free now, and install ad-aware(free) and scan your computer completly, than do the same with nod32, its all free, for me that are 3 sacred programs that get installed instantly every time i format my computer and install system(windows, of course )

man, it makes you lock your door and stay inside your home, where you are (quite) safe, for the rest of your life when you hear things like that. i travel quite a lot during the summer, and it just makes me sad when i hear things like that because it also makes me think about staying home and about what this word has become.... several of my friends got mugged brutally some time ago, one was going (little drunk) from the party, when 2 men attacked and mugged him, he was lucky that a taxi driver has found him, because they beat him so hard that he has lost consiousness and was lying on the floor just where they have beaten and mugged him. he was in hospital for a few days. other friend was just walking home from a friends house, whe 4 man attacked him, beaten him hard two times, dragged him to cash machine and forced him to enter his PIN code and withdraw all his money which they have taken, and beat him hard again... the really sad thing is that the police cant do nothing against taht kind of crime, so none of those people got caught...

i think that personal hygiene is very important, not just because people can smell you if you are unclean, but also because of the health problem. if you do not clean yourself regurally, and that counts for clothes too, bacteria begin to inhabit on you, your skin, and some of them ate dangerous, which means you can get sick, and if you hurt yourself, with open wound, they can breach into your body, and the wound doesnt heal right, thats one of the reasons why people died so young during the medival ages, because theyx didnt clean themselves enough....

if you have played GTA games before, tahn it is not that great, because it has a lot of things that have been seen in prewious parts of game series, but it is great game anyways. i have played it as a first 3d GTA (i have played gta long ago whien it was still 2d), and i think it is a great game. the story is very movie-like, characters are good, well made and defined, while gameplay is good, fun to play , except for occasional jumps in difficulty, when you play smoothly, and than you get a mission you cant make, no matter how hard you try. in cases like that i suggest you just go cruising around the city, enjoying the sight and listen to your favourite radio station.

i am certanly going to buy guild wars nightfall, because im a great fan of the game series. i own both prewious chapters (prophecies and factions), althou my opinion is that factions are not as good as prophecies, and i think nightfall will be much better than factions. factions seem like they have been made really fast, in a short time, and you can notice that when you play the game. you can finish all 13!!(only 13 missions) in 3 days, and you can do it mostly with henchmen, which is not good for a online game, since the point is to play with other players. howewer, nightfall will be different, it brings more control to the henchmen, brings in the whole new hero sistem, has 20 missions, which i think will be great based on what i saw during the event few weeks ago. the nightfall will be released next week, on friday, and i am sure going to buy it the same hour the stores open!!! you should all do the same if you like guild wars

generally, i dont like games that are made after a movie or cartoon, because in most cases they s**k. examples: catwoman(god, save me from that game, dont wanna see it again) x-men series(none was really good) star wars(only few good games, others not really...) the cronicles of narnia( ) and many many more. of course there are some good games after movies( king kong, the cronicles of riddick, something of lord of the rings, dont remember exact title...), but gennerally, when i see a game made after a movie, i run and hide in my panic room(which i got an idea to bild after i saw that movie, catwoman, to hide somewhere where catwoman the game could not get to me(but was too late))
