  1. Hello....I love your list but You know if it's not over-used I simply like saying "I Love You!" BUT backing it up with my actions every day...letting others know that I've thought of them first. It gives more meaning and punch no matter what words are used. Please understand that this is easier said than done and I can't say that I'm even close to getting this right in my relationships but it is still necessary if I/we value my/our relationships.Take Care...
  2. Thanks Cragllo and Jhearad for the input. Jhearad, I'll check out the websites when I have more time. It will at least get me started and possibly provide additional links into the great beyond of computer building cyberspace. I'm also considering on taking a class about building computers from a friend who owns a computer shop in town. Anyway, thanks again...Ciao,Bill Gates
  3. Hello... I am looking for information on how to build computers from scratch. If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate your input. I'm presently reading Building a PC For Dummies in order to get me started. Thank you for any help you can give... Ciao!
  4. The last movie I saw in a theater was The Passion, which I thought was incredible to watch and eventually bought the DVD. Last night I watched You've Got Mail and although it was very similar in plot with Sleepless In Seattle I thought the dialogue was fresh and funny. If you enjoyed Sleepless In Seattle you'll probably enjoy this movie. Ciao!
  5. The dog wouldn't know what underwear to grab because he's colored blind. Is this the right answer?
  6. I agree... One thing is 100% guaranteed if a person receives a death penalty...he/she is punished for his/her crime and he/she no longer: 1. locks up the justice system in unnecessary appeals and red tape 2. wastes an exhorbitant amount of tax dollars 3. overcrowds the prisons, therefore having more beds for lesser offense criminals who could benefit with rehabilitative services. 4. sends a very strong message that crime does pay 5. commits another crime again! Having said this, I believe that individuals, families, churches, societies, etc. have a responsibility to nurture a child with good moral values and give them an opportunity to see themselves as valued individuals, able to contribute positively in society. Listen carefully... The time to enforce punishment is not right after the crime has occured but systematically and with good judgement from the very early years of childhood onward. This is not a 100% guarantee that little Johnny won't kill when he is an adult but his desire to resort to only killing to deal with the world will be greatly reduced. Thank you and Merry Christmas!
  7. I just recently read The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. The book is christian-based and does a great job in explaining our divine pupose here on earth. It's a forty-day exploration (forty chapters), but I went a little slower in order to absorb the subjects and apply them to my life (approx. 4 months). I really enjoyed this book and hope to read it again in the near future. Side Note: It's amazing to me how much I read now when compared to how little I read in high school. I think this was due to being required (dare I say "forced" ) to read the books my teachers assigned to me. Ciao!
  8. Hello everyone! I am considering using this platform to launch a website to explore what defines a man. This will include physical, spiritual, psychological, emotional, etc. factors that sets a male apart from everything/everyone else. I would appreciate your input and any resources that you could provide. With your permission I may even include them on the website. I was considering on using the poll format but by its nature it has its own restrictions to possible biases. Thank you!
  9. my guesses are:1. that you are in a room with an open doorway and you just walk out or... 2. you are in a hallway that will eventually lead you out somewhere Thanks for providing the riddle even if it never gets solved.
  10. I work in a factory and I am constantly bombarded by people using cuss words. I am a christian and I have expressed in our meetings that I would appreciate it if they wouldn't cuss, especially when I am in their presence. I explain to them that it influences me to cuss more when I hear it on a constant basis but that they should discontinue not just for my sake but for their own--to reach for nobler things in their lives. For the most part they have respected my request and I try not to make it a big issue when it occurs. I try to keep in mind that I work in a factory where foul language is expected and even encouraged. However, I choose to make a stand on this matter despite criticism, possibly offending someone or limiting someones freedom to say whatever is on their minds. The easiest thing for me would be to not care and allow them to degrade their relationship with God and their character. But then I couldn't really be considered a Christ follower could I?
