I have actually forced myself to like Windows Media Player 11, the best !!! That is because , most people in my locality use Windows based computers. And very few out of those opt for third party media players . So, to make me feel at home most of the time, i prefer using windows media player. Saying that, I should say Windows Media player is not short of features !!! It does give me some painful hours whenever i try out a new media format. The only bad thing about windows media player is its bundled codecs. They are not sufficient enough. But once we install a third party codec pack such as the K-Lite codec pack, things should be fine.Also, windows media player is not good when it comes to playing partially downloaded media files. I am a big fan of VLC media player in this regard.VLC player could play almost anything !! And it can play partially downloaded/corrupt media files. The problem with VLC is that, it has a bad seekbar. If only it had an interface like Windows Media Player 11, it would have definitely been the best player according to me.Power DVD is good when it comes to watching DVD movies.Real Player doesn't excite me much. But, I really like the rm media format. It is one of the best video compression techniques I have used to rip my movies. I like DivX for its codec pack more than its player.

i recently got a mail. it said a story about a boy who ate food outside and got AIDS. it seams that a boy in south India ate paani purri from a local street fast food shop. the following week he got sick and was hospitalized.doctors diagnosed him as AIDS case. no body in the boys' family had AIDS. on enquiring, the boy told that he had food outside.on enquiring the shop owner, he had a cut in his left thumb. on testing the shop owner, he also had AIDS but still unaware about it.it was found that on cutting the vegetables, the man had his finger cut and the blood got mixed up with the food. i almost fainted reading the mail. i always eat outside. now i am thinking whether to go out or not. its difficult to not eat outside, but we have to stop that practice. atleast we need to reduce the frequency of eating out. lets all take this case seriously.good luck!

i have also heard about this infection.but, is this concentrated only in the US. it should be blocked from spreading across various countries. if it spreads, it will become very difficult to stop it. hope some labs comes out with some solution for this infection atleast to stop it from spreading. good luck!

i was really feeling sick last week. i thought i would die on the bed. doctor told that i was suffering from viral fever. i had a very bad time for almost 3-4 days. i was really tired that i not even able to get up to have my medicines. had a very tough time. i usually don't fell sick very frequently. but when i get sick, its kind of hell. now, i am recovering and gaining the strength back. i had to miss 4 days of my classes. that made me feel more sick. taking notes for all the 4 days is such a big hectic job. anyway, i have to do. i have still not completed the notes. i am staying in hostel, so my mom was not near me. this is the first time i fell sick away from home. i really missed her touch and love. anyway, i am okay now by God's grace. good luck!

wireless technologies are all very new. they have been in the market for only about 5 years or so. the real effects of a technology or a product can be noted only if it is old enough to show its after-effects. this technologies are still in its early stage. here and there some labs come out with some results but we cant solely depend on it. there are cases where such small labs have gone wrong. whereas, we cannot totally push out their results also. there can be some element of truth in their theory also. so far, there hasn't been any major labs concluding that wireless technology is very harmful. there are research going on in many big labs. we can only keep our hands crossed till they come up with some conclusion. meanwhile, i don't think pushing away an amazing technology just for the sake of a minor element of doubt is a good idea. i suggest you to convince your mom to allow you to use it. if at all some research comes out with the bad effects of wireless technology then you may sit down with your mom, discuss it and take some action.good luck!

The easiest way to grab attention is to do something different ...but, in the act of grabbing attention you should make sure that you DO NOTimitate others : trying to imitate others may help you succeed initially. but, you cannot be another person for too long. Eventually you have to start being yourself, when you might start becoming uncoolhurt others: bullying and other sick pranks help students gather attention especially at teenage level. But, this paves the way for you losing respect rather than gaining it !!!What you can do instead is ,be sweet : help people around you. never be harsh with anyone. Even while depriving people of something they ask, be polite and make them understand. Eventually, you will start finding fans for you. This is a slow but sure way to win some loyal friends.focus on your extra curricular activities : Get something apart from your academics, going strong for you. This is a sure way you may gather some good attention towards you.

I too love to have a hot water bath, whenever i get stressed up. I guess it kind of massages the muscles or improves blood circulation. Just get that kind of feel whenever i get a warm water bath.

MIT without doubt is one of the best univs in the world. IT easily ranks among the top 5. So, if you stand a chance for getting admission into MIT, then i don't see any valid reason why you should not grab it. But, if you are looking into Computer Science, then according to me, there cant be a place better than stanford. Google ,Orkut, are all products f stanford's products. So it would be a dream univ for any aspirant wishing to take up Computer Science .Good Luck for your future !!!
