It will take long time to tell but I will do A bout 6 months ago , I go to a Simple Machines forum named Rockman perfect memories and create a thread name "MegaMan fan sites" (Site for MegaMan) and one person replied with the link lead to MegaMan Underground then I joined it. After that , for some reason , he closed his site. About 5 days later , I asked him and he said he can't do anything so he will make it offline About 3 more days later , I asked again and he told me the new link lead to the new site hosted at SMF For FREE. I posted some messages there and saw the button "Create you own forum" I clicked it and everything setted up But that isn't the end. When I came to Rockman Perfect Again , I click on the help page and see a link lead to Simple Machines Homepage Then I downloaded their software with the version 1.1 RC3 But I don't know how to install it even I read their doc sites clearly. Then for some reason (I don't remember exactly) , I know that I have to hosted at somewhere and then I started searching the NET for a good place. And I found Xisto , I requested an application there but no reply Then I leave to Awardspace but it is the worst web hosting site ever And I searched the Net again and found Xisto. The rest you guys should guess it , right ? , that is how I created a Simple Machines forum.

If you change the domain name through the process page.Yes , it will be replaced with the new domain , so it will be fine but you have to change the setting if need be

I just realized my hosting decrese to -3 , but now I get it back (I have got 4.88 credits now) but I still can't access my site , what is wrong ? How can I fix it ? Please help me. Another question : If I got my site back , is there any different from before ? I mean if I created a folder named forum in public_html folder and installed an Simple Machines forum to that forum folder , will I lose any important files ? Thank you very much. Please help me.

If you want to have your own Simple Machines running up without any ADs of any kind , sign up at Xisto and posting until you have enough credits then post an application form and then wait to be approved. After that , do like this and you will have your own forum setting up : 1.Download Simple Machines You can get it at Simple Machines download page , click here to get one 2.Upload SMF to the Server This step is too long so be patient , log in to Xisto forum then log in to your own cPanel , click on File Manager. A pop up Explorer will appear , then click on the public_html folder to expand it (click on its icon , not its name) , click create new folder. Choose a name for that folder (I recommend you use forum as its name) , then exit File Manager. At your cPanel screen , click on MySQL Database , create a database and then create a username for that database. Then grant that username all permissions (Click on the ALL check box). After you have done , log out of your cPanel. Open File Zilla (What is File Zilla) , then click on Site Manager , click New Site. Choose a name , this is anything you like. Host : Enter your domain name like something.trap17.com Server type : Choose FTP Logon type : Normal Then enter your cPanel username and password to those two blank fields Save and Exit Click on Site manager again , then click on that site , choose connect. After connected to the server , minimize the File Zilla window , unzip the zipped install file for Simple Machines to any of your folder and re-open File Zilla (It should be on the Taskbar). Local site choose the folder you unzip your files with , then drag and drop all of the files there to the remote site and please wait , it will be long. 3.Install Simple Machines forum After done , browse to yourdomain.com/forum/install.php (forum is the name of the folder you chose at begin) , just enter everything required then click Install. There you go , you have got a Simple Machines forum now. Note: 1.You should log in to your file manager , then delete the file named install.php 2.Open File Zilla , go to Site manager and delete your site , if not , some one else may connect to the server and do bad thing. Of course Xisto should offer Free domain name for us , our sites will grow as fast as possible and Xisto would become the best web site free hosting ever and everyone will know about it and come here. Also , something.com is better than something.trap17.com like what you guys said , but if the domain name is too hard to be offered here , I still happy that I have a perfect web hosting site (er , I mean I have a site hosted by a perfect hosting site). I go for Invision Power Board , it is secure and easy to use , and the Warn level looks interesting (oop , sorry for saying that ) , but I think Simple Machines will beat all of them , it is the easiest to install and use out of them all

I want to become a specialist about Computer technology , too , Computers are very important in my life , I don't know what I could do without them. Because a computer , I can create a web site now and all of my friends treat me as a genius , he he but I will be in big trouble if they see my account here

You recommend you go for Bit Defender , it is the strongest and most trusted Anti-Virus program out of them all. If you are (Sorry , I mean your PC) infected by Spyware , leave the job to Bit Defender , too , it can remove Spyware then recover your files with ease , don't like AVG.

Since I found there are many topics discussing about Window Defender and Spy Sweeper , which is better (Those topics not at Xisto). I need your idea , I am going to install one of those best security softwares but I don't really know which is better. Window Defender is free but I heard that it is weaker than Spy Sweeper . What if my friend hosted here and doesn't need that account anymore , is there any way I could take Disk Spaces and Bandwidths from him (He allowed me to do that , of course) so I will have 300 MB Disk Spaces and 10 GB Bandwidth ?
