Cost Per 1000 Impressions How does this work?
ivenms replied to rldowling03's topic in Search Engines
At first, read this terms and conditions provided by google: https://www.google.com/adsense/localized-terms?hl=en_US What do you think about this? This is published by google. Before signing up google adsense, you agreed this terms and conditions. Then why you are going to violate this terms?. The self impression generation only results on the termination of your account. Why you trying for your own distruction?. Make money only in right way. That way is the only one which can trust for ever. Please make my words in count. Sincierly - Iven -
Ya I know that works well by parsing the searching key and divide it into seperate keywords. If you have other ideas, make it into executable programming language and post it. So the other can see your ideas and use it. Make this script as base and develop more advanced scripts.Good Luck.

Google Adsense,bidvertiser,clicksor More how do you rate these site?
ivenms replied to vietonline's topic in Search Engines
Iam familier with only three pay per click advertisers: Google Adsense, Bidvertiser and Clicksor. Also Yahoo! Ads is famous among publishers. Now iam going to rate the top three pay per click advertising programs on the basis of my experiance. Google Adsense - - - - 9.5 / 10 It not supporting paypal payments. Thats why I cut .5. There also reports about account deactivations without any reason. BidVertiser - - - - - - - - 6.3 / 10 The main problem of Bidvertiser is their low advertisers number compared to the publishers. So content deficency on their ad programs. Clicksor - - - - - - - - - - - 3.5 / 10 Now clicksor relay only on its name. This program now not even able to produce right contents for right pages. They also laging with the low rate of publishers. Satisfied with my ratings? If not, post your openions and replay here. -

My Experience On Google Adsense A guide for new ones on adsense
ivenms replied to ivenms's topic in Search Engines
I am sure that you will not find any other program rather than Yahoo! Ads which atleast can comparable with google adsense. They will not suspend without reasons. If your program going well with large no. of visitors, then the question about suspension will not arise at all. All problems comes only when you make pages considering google adsense. Only make pages to share information, not to make money. Only then you can acheave someting. Google not using paypal. Paypal is used by sites which hasn't any other options (my openion ). Google is now spread over world wide and can deliver cheque very easly for you. So dont avoid google for that reason. -
Now days, free hosting can be seen on all places. But free domains are given only by a few sites or with big hosting plans. Also "Free Domain" catches a popular search keyword. You can provide free domains for 80 or 120 credits. Iam sure that this will increase Xisto popularity as well as its community.Please post replay about my sugession because i like to take a domain.

Thanks for your valuable informations given. The error happened because of careless typing. The code after replacing bugs is as follows: ****************************************************** $db_server = "localhost"; $db_name = "database_name"; $db_username = "database_username"; $db_password = "database_password";****************************************************************************************************************function db_connect(){ global $db_server; global $db_name; global $db_username; global $db_password; $con =@ mysql_connect($db_server,$db_username,$db_password); if ($con!=false){ if (!(mysql_select_db($db_name,$con))){ // cannot find database die("Cannot find Database"); } else { // fine } } else { die ("Cannot connect to database"); } return $con;}**********************************************************************************************************************function db_search($key) { $con = db_connect(); $key = mysql_escape_string($key); $sql = "SELECT DISTINCT <FIELDS RETRIVED> FROM <TABLE NAME> WHERE <FIELDNAME FOR SEARCH> LIKE '%".$key."%'"; $result = mysql_query($sql,$con); mysql_close($con); return $result;}**********************************************************************************************************************if(isset($_REQUEST['key'])){ $key = $_REQUEST['key']; $result = db_search($key); if($result == FALSE) $content = 'No Match Found';else while ($row = mysql_fetch_row($result)) { $content .= $row[0].', '.$row[1].', '.$row[2]., '.$row[3].'<br>';}echo $content;*********************************************************************************************************************if(isset($_REQUEST['key'])){ $key = $_REQUEST['key']; $result = db_search_bible($key); $html = <html><head><title>Search Results</title></head><body><table border=0 width=100%><!-content--></table></body></html>; if($result == FALSE) $content = '<tr><td>No Match Found</td></tr>';else { $content = ; while ($row = mysql_fetch_row($result)) { $content .= <tr><td><h2>.$row[0].'</h2> <br><br>'.$row[1].'</td></tr>; }}$html = str_replace("<!--content-->",$content,$html);echo $html;******************************************************************************************************<form type=GET action=filename.php><input type=text name=key><input type=submit value=Search></form>******************************************** The mentioned script is only a path which leads you to built your own database search. HTML tags and examples Condensed form of course from my site...
ivenms replied to GM-University's topic in General Discussion
Iam here to giving you some more advanced and valuable tutorials about HTML pages. So the following section reveals with the HTML tutorials: The Main Structure of HTML Pages Every html pages consisting of a main structural procedure which determines the properties and contents of the html page. The whole html page is wrapped with in the tag <HTML> </HTML>. In this tag, mainly there are two regions. The first region is the HEAD tag ( <HEAD> </HEAD> ) which describes the property of the HTML page. The next part is the BODY tag ( <BODY> </BODY> ) which is the visible part of the page. All things mentioned with in the body tags will be visible on the browser window. So the main structure of HTML page is as follows <HTML><HEAD><!-- Here Comes all properties of the page--><TITLE>The Main property of the Page</TITLE> ..... ...... .... .......</HEAD><BODY> ....... ........<!-- Visible Part of the HTML page--> ......... ..........</BODY></HTML> Comments within an HTML page is mentioned inside "<!-- -->" tag. About Meta Tags Meta tags are now widely in use and they are used for representing the major properties about the content of the page. Meta tag is used for denothing the description, keywords, content type, index property, author, ect.. The main metatags are as follows: <meta name="description" content="A short description about the page."><meta name="keywords" content="embeded, keywords, within, the, page."><meta name="author" content="Name of the Author"><meta name="date" content="2003-04-02"><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"><meta name="copyright" content="Copyright Rules"><meta name="robots" content="all"><meta name="revisit-after" content="14 days"><meta name="distribution" content="global"><meta name="document-classification" content="General"><meta name="rating" content="general"><meta name="language" content="EN"> On the given examples, you can see there are two regions - One for 'name' and other for 'content'. The name field describes the type of metatag using and the content field describes the value holded within the metatag. Implementing Frames on HTML Pages Frames are used to display more than one page on a same browser window. Using frames, you can make the top and bottom ( also can implemented on other regions ) of every pages on your site for common content, and can be shared with a common html page for all other pages on your site. Normally pages using frames are not embeding with <BODY> </BODY> tags. They uses tag: <FRAMESET></FRAMESET> insted of body tags. The frameset tag contains two attributes: COLS and ROWS. Cols are used for denoting the width of the columns of frame on the page. They only used once on the page. The Rows are used for denoting the row size ( Height ) on each of the columns. They are use on each of the seperate columns. Some times, rows and colums attributes on frameset tag used torether as in Examples. This allows to create different columns with different width. Within the row and cols frameset tag, another tag is used for mentioning the source page, which is used for displaying content on that region. <FRAME> tag is used for giving the identity of source file using the current frame with "SRC" attribute. There are also some more attributes used with the fram tags. They are: The following examples will help you to understand the coding techniques for creating frames. Example 1: Page having only two colums of frames http://www.uky.edu/err/404/?d3d3LnVreS5lZHUvQVMvRW5nbGlzaC93cml0cHJvZy9odG1saGVscC9hZHZhbmNlZC9mcmFtZS1sci5naWY= <frameset cols="170, *" rows="100%" frameborder="no"><frame scrolling="auto" src="menu.html" name="window1"><frame scrolling="auto" src="home.html" name="window2"></frameset> Example 2: Page with two rows of frames http://www.uky.edu/err/404/?d3d3LnVreS5lZHUvQVMvRW5nbGlzaC93cml0cHJvZy9odG1saGVscC9hZHZhbmNlZC9mcmFtZS10Yi5naWY= <frameset rows="140, *" cols="100%" frameborder="no"><frame scrolling="auto" src="menu.html" name="window1"><frame scrolling="auto" src="home.html" name="window2"></frameset> Example 3: Page with two rows and two columns. Carefully watch the row width mentioning. http://www.uky.edu/err/404/?d3d3LnVreS5lZHUvQVMvRW5nbGlzaC93cml0cHJvZy9odG1saGVscC9hZHZhbmNlZC9mcmFtZS10Yi1sci5naWY= <frameset rows="140, *" cols="100%" frameborder="no"><frame scrolling="auto" src="menu.html" name="window1"><frameset rows="100%" cols="50%,50%" frameborder="yes"><frame scrolling="auto" src="left.html" name="window2"><frame scrolling="auto" src="right.html" name="window3"></frameset></frameset> Example 4: Page with three columns of frames <frameset cols="100,100,*" frameborder="no"><frame scrolling="auto" src="100px1.html" name="window1"><frame scrolling="auto" src="100px2.html" name="window2"><frame scrolling="auto" src="remaining.html" name="window3"></frameset> Example 5: Two rows in the first column. <frameset cols="20%, 80%"><frameset rows="80%, *"><frame src="menu.html" name="menu"><frame src=logo.gif name=logo></frameset><frameset rows="*"><frame src="main.html" name="main"></frameset> Thats all for now. Hi My name is Iven Mathew Simon and iam site Administrator of thinkbible.net. I owna google adsense account for the last two years. Since my site is a non profit informative site, i cantable to earn lot from google adsense. But i will refer others to be on adsense because it is so advanced and so popular among the net. By the introduction of adsense, the groth of internet becomes much faster with content full sites. More and more peoples own their own sites and now atleast a blog is owning by everyone. The main aim of owning their own site on net is to make income from interne. On the first time when applied to an adsense account, the approval is the main thing. For that a decent net with some meaningful content is necessary. A minimum of 30 page site is essential for an easy approval. I applied to google adsense after creating more than 100 pages. After approving the site, its your job to apply the codes on your pages on a decent interface. So many will said to ad the code on top of the page or on center of the content. This only decrease your traffic since everybody know about google adsense. To improve the quality, view google adsense ads on selected regions on the page and mention that region as some web ads or web resources which are leading to other sites. I made some regions and titled it as WEB RESOURCES. Normally every new adsense joining members have an intension of clicking their own ads and viewing their income growth. This only make their account terminate and noting less than that. I know that before starting my account because of my friend's account termination. It is dificult to own other account related with the terminated account since the google prohibited any linking with the terminated account like mail address, paying address, payee name, ect.. My friend now owning google account on another ones address and he have to collect money from him. After creating your account, you have to work a lot to make your site indexed on search engines and get visitors from all over the world. It is necessary to acheave more unique visitors from all over the world and also keep intension not to increase the clickthrough rate on google adsense than 5%. This makes your account lively. Minimum of 200 impressions on a day is good for a decent revenue. The earning money for each click is based on the contents of your site. If your content is so popular, you can earm more from each click because of more bidding on google adwords. You can find the ratings of category by analysing google adwords. Now my site generating more than 800 impression of ads per day and less than 20 click a day. This makes me tensionless since my overall clickthru rate is less than 2% on every time. Because of my contents, I can only earn less than .1 ( on an average ) per click. This make small revenue. But the main thing is TRAFFIC.

In Google, Content is the main source for getting rank. There is more than 200 factors (assumption ) evolved for the page ranks. The following are some of them: URLS From Other Sites Frequently Changing Contents User Friendly URL (Static) RSS Content Popularity of Category Size of the Page Html Code Errors Use of Images on Page Uniqueness of Contents on Web Optimisation of Page ect..... This are some of the factors which affects the ranking of goole. Since google techniques remains secret, we cant say exactly how to increase ranking on google. But iam sure that the use of keywords and description metatags are now prohibited on google indexing. Also the tag <input type="hidden> is prohibited on induxing since its contents cant be visible onthe page.

It is better to use $num = $_REQUEST['n'];rather than using $num = $_GET['n']; since it allows all type of forms - GET forms as well as POST forms. Also check the fopen operation using urls. This make a long time for file open in some times of high traffic. This makes the script improper working. Use local files only on every time for file operations. Note that the time limit for php execution termination is 30 seconds ( in normal case).

A search engine is provided to facilitate the user with undemanding and clear-cut search options. The search facility includes simple search, search by title, search by word/phrase, ect… Thus, the user is at a safe distance from the risk of selecting files/folders ambiguously. In addition, a history of recent searches can be preserved for future perusal. Now day's visitors have a large option for his needs on internet and so visitors are not vesting their time by following the dead links on your site. So a search engine is essential for your site to attract your visitors and hand around on your site by directly deviating them to their interesting topics. This also make the visitors happy and the probability of next visit by them also been increased. In here, I am trying to give some tips on how to create simple search engines on your database. Normally a large amount of webmasters now using open source and free database and programs like MySql with PHP scripting. So my search engine considered on the basis of MySql database and using PHP scripting. For Database Tables a SQL query called LIKE is used for finding matching parts on your text fields on your table. This is normally used for search engines. An example for LIKE query used in search engine is as follows: ******************************************************************************** SELECT FIELDS FROM TABLE WHERE TEXTFIELD LIKE ' %keyforsearch%' ******************************************************************************** Here this query will select all rows from the table named TABLE on which its column TEXTFIELD containing search keyword. You can search on multiple column by using AND query. An example query for multiple search is as follows: ******************************************************************************** SELECT FIELDS FROM TABLE WHERE TITLE LIKE ' %keyforsearch%' AND TEXTFIELD LIKE '%keyforsearch%' ******************************************************************************** The FIELDS denotes all fields you want to select as a results. Multiple fields can be selected by using comma operator: FIELD1, FIELD2. Now I am going to tell about the PHP script which makes use of this query for its database search. I am giving the PHP codes I used on my sites for database search. This code is so simple and optimized. You just want to change some parts and put the entire code to your site for working. The 1st part is information about your site database. Put this part to the top of your PHP page. Change this part with your information about your database for connection. ********************************************************** $db_server = "localhost"; $db_name = "database_name"; $db_username = "database_username"; $db_password = "database_password";********************************************************** The next part is a function which used for establish connection of database. No need of changing this part. Just put this codes to the page. **********************************************************function db_connect(){ global $db_server; global $db_name; global $db_username; global $db_password; $con =@ mysql_connect($db_server,$db_username,$db_password); if ($con!=false){ if (!(mysql_select_db($db_name,$con))){ // cannot find database die("Cannot find Database"); } else { // fine } } else { die ("Cannot connect to database"); } return $con;}*********************************************************** The next part of search engine script is SQL generating and running function which retrieves the results of search. You have to change some portions on the function which denoted with <> change that part replacing with your information. Don't forget to replace < > symbols because that makes syntax error. For changing this part, refer the previously explained portions on SQL QUERY. ***********************************************************function db_search($key) { $con = db_connect(); $key = mysql_escape_string($key); $sql = "SELECT DISTINCT <FIELDS RETRIVED> FROM <TABLE NAME> WHERE <FIELDNAME FOR SEARCH> LIKE '%".$key."%'"; $result = mysql_query($sql,$con); mysql_close($con); return $result;}*********************************************************** The next part is for retrieving the posted search key posted on an html form. This part catches the search key and passes it to previous function db_search(). It also convert the result to an array for displaying it on your page as the result. ***********************************************************if(isset($_REQUEST['key'])){ $key = $_REQUEST['key']; $result = db_search_bible($key); if($result == FALSE) $content = 'No Match Found';else while ($row = mysql_fetch_row($result)) { $content .= $row[0].', '.$row[1].', '.$row[2].', '.$row[3].'…<br>';}echo $content;*********************************************************** The $content is the variable which stores the result. The selected fields will come in the format of $row[0], $row[1], $row[2],…… according to your selection. If you selected two fields named title and body then you can display them as selecting $row[0] for title and $row[1] for body. If you want to see the result on a formatted style then ad some more code and replace a last part of the code by this. This part is for displaying the two selected fields TITLE and BODY. Change this display property with your structure. **********************************************************if(isset($_REQUEST['key'])){ $key = $_REQUEST['key']; $result = db_search_bible($key); $html = '<html><head><title>Search Results</title></head><body><table border=0 width="100%"><!-contentà'</table></body></html>'; if($result == FALSE) $content = '<tr><td>No Match Found</td></tr>';else { $content = ""; while ($row = mysql_fetch_row($result)) { $content .= '<tr><td><h2>'.$row[0].'</h2> <br><br>'.$row[1].'</td></tr>'; }}$html = str_replace("<!--content-->",$content,$html);echo $html;********************************************************** Your search engine script is ready. You now want an html form for submitting search words. Make sure that the form contains the text field naming "key" where to submit search words. An example for search form is given below: ********************************************<form type="GET" action="filename.php"><input type="text" name="key"><input type="submit" value="Search"></form>******************************************** That's all. You now were owning a search engine which is capable of searching your database. Enjoy yourself by using this searching script. For more technical support, visit php.net. By Iven Mathew Simon

Iam using a very simple and more optimised hit counter on my site. For implementing that, the procedures are:- Make a file named hits.txt Change its mode to 0777 Create a php file naming hits.php Put the following code on the hits.php file <?php $hits = file_get_contents("hits.txt"); $hits = $hits+1; $fp = fopen("hits.txt","w"); fwrite($fp,$hits); fclose($fp); echo $hits; ?> Then put the code given below to the page where you like to display the hits on the page: <script language="PHP"> include("hits.php"); </script> This script works only on php files (pages). If your pages are .htm or .html extension, just replace its extension with .php without doing any other things. This script will work on your pages. There also an advanced technique to parse php through html files. But on here this is well suited. Enjoy the simple script and implement on your site.
