Selecting Only Parts Of Text For Use (vb6 Coding)
pb-gnat replied to Plenoptic's topic in Programming
I think I understand you. This is what I would do: Just create an array of labels named Label1(four of them), a listbox named List1, and a textbox named Text1. I think it is pretty straight-forward. -
Have you tried searching through download.com?

Mental Waltz Dare to Let Your Imagination Dance
pb-gnat replied to Cerebral Stasis's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I'm also seeing a few errors.top.jpg isn't flush with topleft.jpg and topright.jpg and the same at the bottomtop.jpg repeats on the left of the framebottom.jpg repeats on the leftDo you have several entities with the same id and the CSS is doing the repeats on the left?As for the design, I like it. Like the fellow above me said, don't center align the text and I dislike the iframe(though is that how blogspot makes it?) -
The Answer Is Google Adsense 90 % topics here are SCAMS
pb-gnat replied to thinkdj's topic in Business Forum
I love Adsense. The ads aren't too invasive and can seam into the site pretty well. -
Hell's Bells is my current ringtone.

I don't find it to be any slower than 1.5. Maybe I am just special?

This might be an interesting read for you all: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

I took the plunge, sacrificed my extensions, and dove into the beta with guns blazing.Ok, ok, I only had one extension - not much too lose.I notice very few differences. The spell check is pretty nice and fast. And, of course, the individual exits on each tab rocks.

Java wouldn't be the most efficient or worth-time language to learn, especially if you are talking cosmetically. A great language for cosmetic effects(if not taken too far) is Flash(not neccessarily a language, but you get my point.) Generally, still cosmetically speaking, the main languages will be HTML, CSS, JS, and Flash. And, to tell the truth, you really don't need to try any other off-color language for cosmetics. The previous mentioned languages should offer more than enough.

I like the idea a lot, as long as people comment and explain code thoroughly. It would be awesome if it would color the syntax aswell. Also, when I logged in, I successfully logged in, yet it said it failed. Might want to check up on that.

Phishers Target Google Gmail Users Be Careful GMail Users
pb-gnat replied to delivi's topic in Security issues & Exploits
You are kidding, right? Please say yes. It is a scam. I have never seen this email in my account before. I do get plenty of spoofed(I assumed they are spoofed) emails that lead me to sketchy looking pharmacy sites. Nothing a filter and/or spam can't fix, though. -
I am assuming the problem is fixed because the images are working properly?

Sherwood A New Mmorpg I Found fun new game a found
pb-gnat replied to bretbc's topic in Computer Gaming
Sherwood was very pathetic when I played it. I'm not sure if it has changed. Sure, the graphics were decent for the very short download, but the world was small and all you could do is run around and kill eachother. You won't find any other browser-based games as good as RuneScape, to the best of my knowledge. -
I barely trust humans playing around with my innards, let alone a robot MADE by a human. I read this related article at National Geographic's website a few weeks back: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

I dislike the striped background. It just demands too much attention with my eyes. I love more simple websites that don't focus on form over function. The navigation is clear. The blinking text is pointless, in my opinion. Overall, nice site. It gets the job done By the way, I was just wondering what the banner is about.
