  1. i use sendsmsnow.com. i like it if i dont know the peoples service provider. if one of my friends has verizon wireless, i could just go to verizon's website.
  2. html is a lot easier to learn first. clearly, you should learn html to see how things run. learning php first would be like running before you learn how to walk. start small then grow. of course, if you are one of those people that likes to jump in head-first, you should learn php first. i learned html first then got bored with it and decided to branch off into other web programming languages.
  3. sorry to just steal quotes from other people, but heres what i did: because i like to read books about programming and teach myself all of the stuff, also, i like to look at other people's code to see how the language works, so i go to
  4. i found a book at my local library that had a working version of vb on it. however, it was a demo and didn't have all of the features. i think i just couldn't make a lot of programs and i couldn't make them .exe. that sorta sucked. or do what someone before said to do and take a class at school.
  5. i took a class at school on java and we used netbeans. i really don't like netbeans, but I would be horrible at notepad. however, for just about every other language i program in, i use notepad.
  6. i believe that you have to use both php and html. you cant just use one. i do like php better though because it basically hides your code so that nobody can steal it. but i like html with dhtml and css because that adds a lot of cool design features to your site. also, i feel that html is a lot easier to learn. all you need is notepad and a web browser. where in php, you need the language, notepad, a web browser, and a server application. so to answer this question, i like and use both.
  7. can somebody send me an invite. my email is joeblow1102@yahoo.com. this would be greatly apprecated and i will definitely raise your trap 17 reputation. thank you.
  8. neither. where i live cingular is the best. i have friends that have both t-mobile and verizon. they are paying like twice as much as me for half the minutes and a quarter of the service that i get. if you can and it is also good in your area, go with cingular. also, just consult your friends. remember to take into consideration that a lot of phone companies have unlimited mobile to mobile minutes.
  9. i have a sony ericsson t616 and it didn't come with AIM pre-installed. and cingular doesn't support AIM for my phone. so i did my homework and stumbled upon cmessenger. google that. it is the only messenger that supports my needs. of course the website is in some funny language, so in the upper right hand corner click on en. oh, and it's free.
  10. i have a question. and this is a serious question because i haven't played with the psp. but does psp have messaging abilities? because i was in a game stop store and they had two ds setup. and nobody else was in the store and i was sending messages back and forth. like with writing and with typed letters and drawings and everything and oh my god. that was like heaven. i was there for like half an hour just going back and forth between systems.
  11. i use AIM. i would use trillian because i really like it, but i dont wish to connect to yahoo and msn because all of my friends use AIM. also, for cell phones, everyone should use cmessenger. google that. it's definitely worth the download and it works for many IM utilities.
  12. i use a sony ericcson t616. it is just a newer model of the t610. i really like it because i'm not a huge fan of flip phones except that it looks cool when you flip it. but i like non-flip phones. did that make sense? and i saw my phone in a preview before oceans twelve. they were talking about piracy and somebody stole my phone.
  13. this is sorta related to the one about zedge.no. here's what i do. i go to google on my home computer and search for free ringtones. or do a midi search. then, you can listen to the midi file on your computer. go to zedge.no and make a free account. then upload the file to zedge.no and go to the wap site given to you. then download the stuff that you uploaded onto your phone.
  14. idk, cell phones are probably bad for you, but they haven't done anything to me. i talk on the phone for like 4 hours a day on average. i really hope that this isn't doing any long-term damage. sorry to contradict what i said before, but i don't think cell phone physically do any damage to you, except that your arm starts to hurt after a while. get a headset or a speaker-phone dealy.
  15. i have madden '05 for gamecube. it is really awesome seeing how the last madden i got was madden '98 for computer. i really like the graphics and the controls. i don't necessarily like the hit stick just because i'm not sure exactly how it works. i just have to master it. but everyone should buy this game.
