  1. For Christmas, I received one gift and one gift only. This would be a MD Walkman. Now, I was pretty confused on what this would do. At first sight, it seemed like a regular cassette player, but as I soon found out, it was something more. You can download up to 40-45 hours of music into it. Not only can you download music into it, you can download non-audio files into it such as spreadsheets, documents, etc. It comes with both mini-CDs to fit & play music into it as well as mini-floppy disks to save non-audio files into and view.
  2. I choose none of the above, but then again, I prefer any RPG game over any of those games. It is probably because of my type of games I enjoy. In my honest opinion, I believe that Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne is the best Playstation 2 game. Even though it might have a story you might contradict with if you believe in God, it has tons of customizable options and you can basically do anything in it. Also, the battle system is turn-based and the only way you can get party members is to persuade your enemies by talking to them to join you. Keep in mind, ALL the enemies in this game are demons. You play as a human in the very beginning of the game, but soon becomes a demon on its own. I won't spoil any of it, but I will say that there are 5-6 alternate endings in the game depending on your decisions and actions throughout the course of the game.On a side note, Dante from the Devil May Cry series is in it also!
  3. It all depends on your taste of games. To me, I prefer both online and offline games. If you're the social type and like to have company while playing a game, choose online games, but beware of mean people. If you enjoy playing a game by yourself, I recommend offline games so you can concentrate a bit easier. However, it is all up to you.
  4. My favorite of all time is Final Fantasy VIII. Actually, heres how obsessed I was:So far, I'm on my 7th walkthrough & I did different things in the walkthroughs.1. Lvl 100, all Junctions, all GFs, etc. etc. Game (basically 100% complete game & beat Omega Weapon with Aura & Invincible War [or something like that] tactic)2. Lvl 1, all Junctions, all GFs, etc. etc. Game (!00% complete with Omega Weapon beaten with cheap tactic)3. Lvl 100, NO Junctions, NO use of GFs, etc. etc. Game (beat Omega Weapon using NO cheap tactic [Aura & Invincible War] = very very hard)4. Same as 3 except Lvl 1 = almost impossible game5. Solo game - Lvl 100 buffed up, Godly Squall. For Ultimecia's Castle, I used Zell solo (for the second party)6. Solo game - Lvl 1 buffed up, Godly Squall. For Ultimecia's Castle, I used Irvine for the other party (solo)7. ONLY GFs game. I only use GFs for all fights. Final Fantasy VII was great as well. Favorite character was Vincent Valentine there. FFX & FFX-2 were ok, but not as good as FFVII & FFVIII, in my opinion. I'm too low on money for FFXI and I plan to get FFXII and FFVII: Advent Children.
  5. Man, Counter Strike is awesome! I purchased Counter Strike: Condition Zero after 2 weeks it was released and played it for a good 2-3 months. I was in a clan called TJO which stands for The Jedi Order, but I quit it due to personal reasons. I'm still playing Counter Strike: Source and I must say, it is simply astonishing. The Half-Life 2 engine really made the game more exciting. The cs_office map is my favorite and of course, I always go on the Terrorists side. My favorite gun is the sg552.
  6. The english version of Ragnarok Online can be found at http://iro.ragnarokonline.com/. It is a great game, and has plenty of job classes for everyone to be, plus everyone can choose what they want their stats or skills to be. Working ina team and making friends is easily the best part of the game, because the game's players are LARGE in number, and you're guranteed to make plenty of friends within your first 2 weeks. I've had many good experiences with this game, and recommend it to anyone that can possibly play it.
  7. Ahhhh.... i've always wanted to learn PHP, but I can't quite seem to get it right. =/ Some places are just way too technical, or whatever for me. They go from one easy step to something ridiculously hard that almost seems to be not on the subject of the previous step. I think my main problem though, is that I can't remember syntaxes and tags very easily.
  8. Hey all. I was wondering if anyone played Ragnarok Online =), I do, and I really enjoy it. It's become my latest major addiction, hehe! I already have a level 82/50 Priestess, 99/50 Spear Knight, and a 65/10 Sage! I know some people think it's boring and stuff, but I can see where they're coming from, as sometimes all you do is fight monsters for HOURS. I mostly like it for the teamwork, and the friends you make there! Guild Wars is truely a test of teamwork!Ee, i'm ranting again ^^;;, I want to make an Alchemist sometime, too... but I heard the test was pretty time consuming. What does everyone think of this game?
  9. That avatar is alright, but since i'm a girl., it doesn't appeal to me as much as it does to you guys, hehe.
  10. I believe I type fast when I need to. I think i'm mostly slowed down though by my 'need to type perfectly'. XD I guess i'll take this test.. I hope I get a good score..
  11. My eyes widened at the sight. "Oh come on now." it said, amused. It was only my brother.. dressed in terrible clothing.
  12. KazuWanna:It's pretty cool. It reminds me of some anime character, but I can't quite place my finger on it... 8/10And btw: My user account name is more of a spoof than anything.. GOD-POING was(and still is, I think) the administrator of the english Ragnarok Online. Her name is Christy, and she's very abusive. She hits on other girls (ew) and speaks very terrible grammar. One such quote for her is:"Please do more expect for the christmas thingy for you."Pretty sad, isn't it? Especially considering that one of the employment requirements is to have a good grasp of grammar and the english language..
  13. I believe the free i-pod thing is just a scam. I know a -ton- of people that had signed up for it, and yet.. they haven't gotten any! (It was around last month when it happened). Maybe it's just a misunderstanding... I have no idea, but I won't sign up for a long time, heheh.
  14. I use both hotmail and gmail, and I find they're both pretty good.Though if I had to pick between them, i'd have to go with gmail , simply for the ease of use, very good GUI, and storage space+features.
