  1. Heh, I've actually thought about something quite similar to what you seem to have been thinking about.Actually it's a bit different.. The way you seem to be picturing it someone, something, or some people (or some things, I suppose =p) are actually controlling you. I sort of changed it, as the thing that I used to think about is us being a part of another person's dream. So we're being controlled by a person's subconcious. He/she/it has some sort of choice as to what happens, in a general fashion, but it's also out of control of the person controlling. And then, if the idea I have is true, that would mean that the person dreaming us probably lives in another society and/or population. What about that? Is he living in someone else's dream as well? The subconcious of someone who is the sobconcious of someone else... Weird. Yet, in a way, quite cool. I'm loving this. And then what happens when the person wakes up? I always imaged, as a kid, that when the person is awake we are asleep. But then, what about the person he's being dreamed by? And what about us, compared to that person?Kind of a scary thought, isn't it? I <3 infinite possibilities... Hehe.

  2. So, the middle school that I went to has been having its field/blacktop redone for like a kazillion years, and it's finally done!! Well, not technically, so we were actually trespassing... but everything is basically done. So we went to the baseball field and played some baseball yesterday. It's cool, because the middle school is like in between all of my friends' and my houses, so it's really easy to get to.So we got our first "big boy" pick-up game in the park. Just like all those movies and stuff. And I broke my bat. He he, everyone always asks if I broke it swinging at the ball, or like hitting someone. Yes, it was while I was at bat, and if the bat didn't break that would have been a game-changing hit... oh well.So my team lost, but we had a lot of fun anyway. It was my first real pickup game, and we're probably going to have many many more. Have any of you ever played pickup games like these in a park or something near you? Do you do them regularly? We had to modify the rules of baseball a bit, as it was only a 4 vs. 4. Which makes left field a very hard position to play. Anyone have any tips for 4 vs. 4 baseball rules?I'm so exited about playing again... <_<

  3. Yeah, I learned about this earlier in the school year in my Marine Science class. Quite interesting.

Do you what else is interesting. We know more about outer space then we know about our own oceans. Like yes we know a fair amount about what lives and relatively shallow areas of the ocean but very little is know about the deepest depths of the ocean like this trench. The reason is that the pressure is so great we have not been able to accomplish the task of getting there plus it seems that funding for those expeditions is lacking thus it is hard to accomplish this.

I wouldn't say that... In fact, I'd say quite the opposite! We know hardly anything at all about Outer Space, we just have unproven theories that should be true if so and so is true, which is only true if so and so is true. There's no way we can actually find out, which is not the case for Oceans as they are close to being in our grasp.

  4. Pennies are worthless. It should be illegal to charge anything that isn't on the dollar, the fifty, or the seventy five. No $0.99 stuff. Then no more pennies will be needed :)But yeah, I say be gone with pennies. Nickles are necessary, though. As are dimes. Why don't they just change them all into smaller coins, and make them all more profiteable than the cost to make.

  5. ok i have been thinking a lot about this. There are so many planets out there, we don't evern know what is there in most of them. What about the space, and beyond these planets we know of? Im wondering could there be more planets or what could there be ? Is it just dark or maybe is there another world, like ours, earth, where there are people but maybe it is to far that we can never have contact with each other. Will we ever find anything else besdies empty planets and will we ever be able to go further than marrs to explore more? i hope we can, and while im alive, i want to know waht's out there cause it seems so interesting, i don't thikn it's possible for a space so big and only earth have living things. maybe there other planets like us, or maybe there is another planet like earth but has no living things?? what do you think is out there in that space? are there other living things? and not just aliens but whatever you think ther is, i would like to know.

I think that the liklihood of there NOT being living organisms SOMEWHERE in our virtually infinite amount of mass all plunked around throughout space is almost as big as a number approaching infinitely small. Think about it. There's 1 planet out of 9 in our solar system that we know supports life. What about the millions, billions, trillians, etc etc solar systems in this galaxy alone? I'd be surprised if there was no life other than us in the Milky Way. But then look at the thousands, millions, etc etc of galaxies, each with as large an amount of solar systems within it as the milky way. Wow. Think about it. How could there NOT be any more organisms than that which lives on Earth?

I think that they should focus their attention an how to make a space ship not powered by rockets but by solar which would mean that they would have unlimeted power untill the suns rays no longer reached the solar panels.

That wouldn't get you very far at all. The suns rays aren't even visable far past Jupiter, or something like that. If you're talking about universe exploration, solar isn't really a good way to go...

  6. What kind of fishing are you doing? Ocean/bay fishing (big ocean fish like bass), or river fishing (trout and such)?I've done some river fishing on the American river in CA and other rivers around Tahoe and elsewhere. It's fun. I'm not very experienced, but I go with my dad once and a while when we get to good rivers.

  7. so i think the price of the progress is unmeasurable, simply unmeasurable :)

I'd have to agree. It's impossible to measure the price of progress until you've already made the progress, and the price is evident! Which, actually, is a bit different than what harad said. It's possible to measure the price of progress, but only possible once the progress has already been achieved, which means that finding the price of progress is useless except in studying past experiences where we've had to pay a price for progress, and we noticed that the price was not really worth it after (learning from history). Hope that makes sense.

  8. How will you find it if you lose it? You won't be able to call it and listen for a ring if it simply says into your ear in a non-deafening way "Incoming call from..."Interersting Idea though. Not very feasable, however. The software to do that would not be able to be run on such a small device, most likely. Assuming we are even able to make the software, that is... We surely wouldn't be able to make it very WELL in today's world. Not to mention that it would be hard to add phone numbers and people's names into it without being able to see it. The human race is quite visual =p
