I hate anything older than OS X 10. The only OS from Apple I like is Mac OS X 10 or higher. Mac OS X 10 is when they started to use all those nice effects and icons.

I'm very good at halo for PC and XBOX. I've owned Lurk on XBOX and PC.

I get around 50-80FPS in FarCry with everything maxed out at 1280x1024. And DirectX 9.0C only adds support for SM3.0 in the new NV40 chipsets.

Are you sure thats a 2.7Ghz AMD Athlon XP? Becouse thats a pretty big OC. I think AMD's fastest stock speed is the Athlon 64 3700+ at 2.4Ghz.

Only AMD's Athlon XP is cheap. AMD Athlon 64 is average and AMD Athlon 64 FX is the most expensive. AMD's Athlon 64 is similar to Intel's Pentium 4 and AMD's Athlon 64 FX is similar to Intel's Pentium 4 Extreme Edition.

That card actually doesnt run so good on Doom 3... I've seen benchmarks and Nvidia's 6800's runs alot better than X800's. I think ID software has maybe optimized it for 6800. The 6800's use SM3.0, so maybe thats why it runs better. And the requirments for Doom 3 are Intel 2.0Ghz+ and a 64MB card or higher with 384MB RAM.

Google is good becouse theres only one image to load while yahoo has many images and some usless stuff.

Some people already have Doom 3 now... no one knows when HL2 comes out.

I chose cable becouse its a LITTLE faster than DSL and its always on. I used to have 56K then DSL, and now Cable.

The two things that intel are better at is their memory cache and the clock speed.

I mean I hate those people on those CS forums...

I'm upgrading to PCI-X in a year when its popular... and the PCI-X offer NO performance increase on anything, becouse we dont need all of that extra bandwidth yet.

But there arent really any 64-bit bit apps right now. I like Intel better, I have a P4 Northwood 3Ghz.
