  1. You can't.Excepted when the image library has bugs, but that's a security hole.
  2. Beside the fact that ASP is a closed-source language, this technology is really misfit and ineffective to web programming...

  5. This must be because there aren't javascript, but jscript, a proprietary language for IE. Post the scripts here, and we'll see where is the bug... If there are real javascript, they should work on Firefox. On other side, all webmasters know that IE has lot of bugs with javascript, and some really important javascript functions are still not implemented in IE... No. I'm not good enought...

  10. You have to choose the CSS solution. All presentation must be done by CSS. Bold is only presentation, so it must be realised by CSS. (X)HTML is only for semantic. For example you can specify that your text is important puting it between <strong> tags. That would be much more interesting than using bold, because a text client and an oral client will ignore the bold, but not the strong (for example, the oral will insist on this text...)
  11. If you want a good browser, you really have choice : Mozilla, Mozilla Firefox, Netscape, Epiphany, Galeon...They all use the Gecko engine, which is currently the best render engine.

  13. I use Mozilla mail at home, and Mozilla Thunderbird at work. Those softwares are clearely the best mail clients : very secure, with lots of features, (and the best HTML render engine...)
  14. Windows Media Player is an outdated software which doesn't understand modern formats, and which allows its authors to acces to your files on your computer. Read this article...
