Memorize numbers : How to memorize large numbers? Seems pretty much impossible isn't it ? we can easily remember peoples faces or colors but numbers are very hard to memorize because they are so hard to associate ,our brain thinks with pictures not with numbers. it's easier for us to remember a chicken having a beer than to picture the numbers $4,6435.73. But we can defeat the way our brain processes numbers by relating them to a certain word that represents a mental picture !! All you have to do is memorize this chart, once it's done you can use it for life! Looks pretty much boring isn't it ? well that exactly what i thought when I first came across this, but I did take time to memeorize it and beleive me it's worth the effort .Within few minutes I was impressing all my friends !! I'll give you an example how this memorizing technique works : Suppose your mom asks you to check the prices of several items for eg. one item costs $ 651.98 for six we can take j and lets say we maker the word just for 5 it's l so we make the word love for 1 its t or d ,lets take t and make the word to for 9 it's p or b so we'll take b and make the word post for 8 it's f or v so lets take f and make the word forums See what we came with ??? just love to post forums !! now im sure you'll remember this and all you need to remember the price is to convert the words back to the numbers mentally .The first few times you can also do this by writing it down . Using this method you can memorize numbers with digits 50 or above !! impressing is'nt it ?? Well when I first heard about it i thought it was impossible but i did take time to memorize the chart and see if it works ,and to my amazement I could memorize upto 20 digits in less than 5 minutes !

US Modular is going to offer memory expansion to Mobile phones with MicroSD or T-Flash slot. The US Modular Stik & Stor uses a similar concept as the hard-drive expansion for the Sony PSP. It runs a short cable inside the MicroSD or T-Flash slot of the phone connecting a small unit carrying the storage. Phones like the Samsung D600 or Motorola ROKR are supported. Bundled software lets you directly access the storage via a PC. I do not think the phones internal media players would work seamlessly with this additional storage. The Stik & Stor is supposed to be available still this month. The 4GB and 8GB versions use a micro-drive. The 1GB and 2GB use flash memory.

Well, I'm not a big gamer and I use AMD CPU's. Yes, Intel is faster at multimedia due to their MMX instruction implementation/standardization. Multimedia software is coded to take advantage of it, but AMD has it too, just they aren't quite as good as Intel. But keep in mind, while Intel usually wins this battle in a benchmark, it is certainly not by a landslide. It's usually a marginal victory. Now, what you won't hear from me is any Intel bashing. I have a few older Pentium III and IV based systems. I just prefer AMD for the value (though because they are more competitive these days, that value is not always as noticeable on high end CPU's). I think you have to be impressed with what AMD has done with a lower clock speed than Intel. For example, my AMD Athlon 64 is the 3500+ Winchester. It actually runs at 2200MHz or so, but when benchmarked, it is compared to an Intel chip running at or above 3500MHz and they are very close.

yes !! microsoft has developed and now realeased a software thats called windows live mail which is going to replace hotmail .This in beta and availabe only to people through invitations . It comes with a brand new look and have 2GB storage ,some features include anti-phishing which warns users when some one's trying to phish for their personal information and wipe them off the face of the earth ! .also gives you previews of messages without you having to leave inbox ,drag and drop organization , one click control over junk and scam e-mails also haves right click power ! it's really cool

To begin with , there are several reasons why windows takes an excessive amount of time for shut down to be complete , in order to understand why this happens we must remember that windows os is not a single program , but rather a collection of individual services.Each of these must be stopped during shut down. Therefore any problem related to any of these may prolong the shut down process or cause a crash .A potential cause for this problem is that windows contains an option to erase the system's virtual virtual memory and system hibernation cache at shut down.These features are disabled by default because they take a long time to complete and make the sytem look as if it crashed.But sum privacy features enable it causing this problem.So in order to see whether thse features are enabled in your pc all you have to do is go to run and enter GPEDIT.MSC after which navigate through the tree to computer configuration/windows settings/security settings/local ploicies/security options.Locate clear virtual memory pagefile option in thecolumn to the right and verify that it's disabled .If it's enabled you can disable it by double clicking on the settings and choosing the disable option.
