Actually Single Player is very good. However,if you want to play multiplayer, you should try Battlefield 2 or something. It adds much more variety

Are you using Steam or just Counter Strike 1.5? Steam is more popular now, it can be downloaded at steampowered.comOnce you've donwloaded and installed, follow the instructions to get into game. THere should be a LAN Tab at the top

I thuoght google ads also depend on the content of the page? E.g. free service ads payout LESS than ads displaying stuff like casino games. I would recommend it nonetheless
