  1. Sorry AMD for the win. Fast processors at cheaper prices. Only reason intel is so highly priced is because of the marketing. You will never see a AMD on a dell commercial. The greatest way to compare a AMD and a intel is this. Intel - Covertte, fast car and it can deliver a person to the destination at a amazing speed.AMD - Bus, slwoer mode of transporation but in the end who will deliver more people? The corvette or the bus. By the way that analogie is the way intel and amd work. This is why a amd 3200 is acually only 2.8 ghz the 3200 is its intel equivalent. Higher numbers dont always mean better hardware.
  2. Apple has amazing hardware. Even if there software isint all that great the hardware is loads better then anything a PC has ever come out with.
  3. Google's OS is going to be web design based. Since just web designing dosint take alot the computers wont have the greatest specs but will be cheap and effective. Also the OS might have quite a few features that will enable web designers to produce websites much more easier. Such as a easy to use Web Server etc...
  4. Apple also has much better hardware then a PC. Apples hardware tends to last longer and customer support still exsist for 5 year old Apple computers. Also the look of an apple computer on your desktop is a striking difference then that of a PC. The wires etc. Also the speed. Apple currently has the fastest computer on the market with a Quad-Processor. 2 seperate processors inside of 1 computer both having dual cores. PC's also only support 4 gigs MAX of RAM. Apple supports up to 12 making them ideal for anything that requires large amounts of memory. Hence video and graphics.
  5. Greatest game ive been playing right now is world of warcraft. This game is seriusly very fun. The area is HUGE encompassing 2 different continents both witch would take around 3 hours to run from top to bottom. There are literally hundreds of quests that make up a great story to the game. Also the amount of people who play it gurrantee that you will not be questing alone. Unless you want to.
  6. Yes alot of xbox 360's have been shipped faulty. This is in part because of microsofts paranoid reactions towards the newly released ps3 specs. Xbox 360 will not be better then the ps3 in hardware therefore microsoft pressured the system to be released before all major hardware and software bugs where debugged. No lie the powersupply burned a hole in my carpet. I have heard of people getting blue screens that flicker during the game or before it.
  7. Would it be better to learn java first or Perl. I am having alot of trouble with java. I am in a programming AP class and i acnt seem to quite get the hang of it. Would it be better to learn perl first or is java also satisfactory for my friend programming launguage. Sorry about the typos
  8. Flying cars would pose a major problem. Even if for only the rich. First of all what would distuinguish a flying car from a plane? And how loud would those turbines be with you sitting in the front seat. And wouldint there be a low fly law?
  9. MMORPG - Def. World of Warcraft. Very good game. Action - Call of Duty 2 or download Day of Defeat with the new half life source engine. Amazing graphics and its only online play no single player. for 19.99 its a great deal. http://www.steam.com/
  10. World of warcraft is indeed amazing. I have about 3 level 60 characters. The amount of things you can do in the game is unlimited. Levels 1-60 is one game in itself but once you hit level 60, you get to go on raids, battlegrounds, and pvp arenas to win prizes. Also the classes are extremely balanced each class serves it purpose in a party. I personally like the rogue.
  11. What kind of batterys does it use? It must use alot of power to fly around and for how long?
