notepad is the best editor... It is easier for me to code the layout, than to try to design it using a WYSIWYG and it is 100% FREE!!! For some reason it is easier, I don't know why!

I haven't really tried integrating it into my sites layout, I do the open in new window teqnique. It takes to much work to try to do that...

actually, phpBB has more mods, at it's official site, https://www.phpbb.com/ there is a ton, including a lot in development. there is also phpbbhacks.com. With IBplanet gone, there isn't a whole bunch of hacks for invision. The most important stat is that phpBB out googled IPB by 10 MILLION results.

Please post what your favorite PHP bulliten board script is...I think phpBB is a better script, becuase it looks nice, and has more mods/skins, and is free, and no one pressures you to buy a liscence(they don't even sell one).

I am just wondering what graphics program everyone here has... I have Photoshop CS, and it is a very nice program, especially its filters and layer styles . I can easily create nice looking graphics with it, and it doesn't take much hard work. It is an amazing tool.

can you give me any more information on it? I will be finding some people to give the link to, and will be hoping to see more active people on here. What will the dedicated server that you are purchasing have on it? What will it cost? This host looks like one of the best I have seen, and I will be sticking around for a while at the forums.

How many of you are using Adsense at ur site? Post Comments
jacob replied to ravi's topic in Search Engines
If it were a scam, google would not be around, because many people use google, and it would get around, and people would force them to close. I will be adding google ads to my site, when it is more developed. -
hostcubix has been fast for me, although there were some people that I think had resource hogging programs that slowed it down at some times. But most of the time it is fast.

What do you think is the best processor company? I think intel is, becuase their processors are faster and they have hyperthreading and are starting to produce 64 bit processors...

you have to pay for it, but IE comes free with windows... Plus, those features can be added with a toolbar, except tabbed browsing, and that isn't to impotant, becuae then it gets put in a group eventualy.

I use hostcubix.com, I think that it is a pretty good hosting service. I also use zer0host.com, which is okay, but is good enough for me. I have used other hosts that I refuse to mention because they were BAD.This look like a really good hosting service, once some people start to post...

I think we need a cooler skin. This one is okay, but there are better ones on nbzdesigns.com . you could also make your own skin... I really don't like default to much, because I see it all the time...

I use IE 6, enhanced from Win XP SP2. I want to see what other people use for browsers, and maybe start a discussion. This place needs more activity...

I am using Win XP SP2, it is a pretty nice OS, especially what they added to IE... And you get your own firewall with SP2. Of course, you will have to wait a while before you can get it from windows update. I have not gotten any viruses and have had DSL for over 3 years. What you should do is:1. Update as frequently as you can with windows update2. Have a firewall3. Have a anti-virus program and update it often4. Do NOT download anything that look suspiciousIf you follow that, there is a 99.9% chance you will NOT get a virus.
