I don't feel so short now, I'm 6' and I thought I was short, but now I feel a little taller, my fiancee's 5'3" though, so she makes me feel tall too.... and I think I'm one of the heaviest in here at 242lbs... I think that's like 115kg... I have no idea how to convert feet to cm lol and I don't think I'm growing anymore... I think i'm getting smaller though, I could have sworn I was 6'1" a few years ago, maybe because I lost 40lbs I stopped caving the ground in underneath me lol

What Eye Colour Would You Prefer? If you could change it?
Vegikachu replied to life_is_life's topic in General Discussion
I would never change my eye color! I quite like my green/orange/blue eyes. Nobody would call my eyes freaky if they were just a solid color. I wouldn't change my fiancee's eye color either, she has crystal blue/green eyes, they're amazing. I did have contacts that made my eyes a very bright green though, that was kinda freaky. -
This debate has been going on for so many years now. I agree that AMD is cheaper for faster speeds and it can be overclocked and all that fun stuff, but Intel is much more reliable and less prone to failure, at least in my experience. I haven't spent too much time researching the newer additions to each company's product line but for all the systems I've had to maintain, the AMD systems seem to have more problems than Intel. This may be due to the compatibility issues with some hardware and software and how each user (ab)uses the system, but there still is a definite difference in reliability between them. I'll take Intel over AMD any day, whether it's on my systems or on the systems I have to fix.

Hope For Paralysis Victims? You have to read this
Vegikachu replied to semeticsister's topic in Science and Technology
They've been talking about this for years, true this would give paralized people the ability to look like they're moving but to get even a simple thing like walking to work would take more processing power and wired circuits that you might as well call them androids by the time they're done being worked on. This is a lovely happy theory to think of but it is still far too under-developed to even think about it happening anytime soon. It's more likely they'll develop methods for rebuiding/regenerating/replacing damaged nerve tissue before they come up with a feasible way of pulling this off... I'm still looking forward to the day they start making consumer jet packs that you can fly to your job everyday with I hope that isn't too too far into the future -
Playstation 3 general reviews and views
Vegikachu replied to semeticsister's topic in Computer Gaming
Wooow, how amazing! My sister has a girlfriend who's uncle has an apartment next to someone real high up in the Nintendo company and he snuck in and stole a prototype for a Nintendo Longhorn, see Nintendo was gonna merge with Microsoft and they made the Nintendo Longhorn, it runs every game from every Nintendo system and most Microsoft Game Studio games too, except Zoo Tycoon 2... too many animals to keep in it...... *ahem* sorry.. don't know what came over me there..... that's pretty cool, what game(s) do you have for it? -
This Really Works And I Have My Check To Prove It

Hmm... I guess this is the kind of person that the whole posting rule was made for.... good idea -
My first computer was a Tandy 286 or 386 running on Deskmate 2.0 with a floppy drive and no hard drive, my aunt used it for school and then she gave it to me when she was done, I finally convinced my parents to get the hard drive upgrade for it and I was so excited because I could record sounds from my tapes and play them back, 15 seconds worth of broke up, midi sounding Metallica that I played for all my friends... hope Metallica doesn't see this, they might come after me for piracy ...now I feel kinda old
-
Jeez, I feel small compared to some of those.. haven't done any upgrading in 2 years.... Home Computer.. for games, video editing and stuff I'm not mentioning what kind of MB I have >.> Business Laptop.. for business stuff.... and watching widescreen movies Yeah, the laptops are kinda boring... Girlfriend's Laptop (piece of junk) for her to play Everquest on Where have I been? When's Vista coming out?!

Biggest Hdd Space Users UT2004 needs 5.5gb. Got anything bigger?
Vegikachu replied to littleweseth's topic in Software
5.5gb... jeez, biggest game I have is Vampire Bloodlines at about 3gb.. Dungeon Siege 2 says it needs 4gb on the box but only takes up 2.25gb... the original sims game would probably take up alot of space with all of it's umpteen expansions
