  1. Seems like that your PC Specs just little below the minimum Specs for POP : Forgotten Sands. Here is the System Requirements for POP Forgotten Sands. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ You CPU and RAM meets the minimum requirements (1 GB RAM meets minimum requirements but only if you have Windows XP, for Windows Vista and 7 you require 2 GB of RAM). But your GPU (Graphics) does not seems to meet the criteria of minimum requirement. It is not listed in the supported Cards list on the system requirements page and also it does not seem to have Pixel Shader v3.0 which is the minimum requirement for the game. And even if you are able to match the minimum Requirements for the game, the minimum requirements is just enough to run the game but it is not necessary that you would get good performance. For recommended requirements you require 2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo Processor or better and 2 GB RAM for WIn XP and 4 GB for Vista and 7 along with 512 MB of dedicated GPU (Nvidia or ATI dedicated cards) with pixel shaders v3.0 and Direct X 9.0c support or better. You could try to upgrade your PC if you want to run this game with good performance or you should try it on any other PC which has better config. Also you could try 3D Analyser which seems to run a few games on low spec PCs even when the system requirements do not match. 3D Analyser : http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Although most of the times 3D Analyser has not seemed to work for me as 3D Analyser tries to remove the features from the Game that require the high system specs and this results in not working of the game eventually most of the times. Still its worth a try if you can run it better using it. Just google for "How to run Prince of Persia Forgotten Sands using 3D Analyser".
  2. You could achieve this with periodic AJAX checks for completion of User A's move as you said. You could keep the period of checks to around 4 to 5 seconds. This would not create very high resource usage. Also if you are trying to target large amount of users playing the game simultaneously then you should get premium paid hosting that could handle such amount of resource usage. (Like hostgator.com) Unfortunately there is no way that the Server would contact User B. Always a user can query a server and server only returns the response. The Server cannot send a response without any query from the user's side. One more way you could do is that you could keep a refresh button on User B's side and whenever he/she presses this button you can do the AJAX check for completion of User A's turn. But practically this would not be good enough and users would not like to keep on pressing the refresh button. So basically the ebst way is to keep a check with periodic AJAX requests to the Server from a user to check the completion of his opponent's turn and keeping the time interval between such periodic requests to be a comfortable time of 4 to 5 seconds. This would only slow down the update rate to a negligible amount and would only keep a fair amount of resource usage on the Server. I hope it helps.
  3. This is a common problem with many DVD-rw drives and with time mostly there capability to read DVDs lowers. Check your DVD if it is having any scratches, then that could be the reason. Also try cleaning it with a soft slightly moist cloth radially outwards and then running the DVD. Alternatively you could try and get your DVD drive checked up as I am also having a similar DVD-RW drive and after one and a half years it stopped reading most DVDs. And you could also give this software a try named IsoBuster : https://www.isobuster.com/ This software helps in reading DVDs and CDs which cannot be read easily because of scratches but could be read sometimes. It is not a free software but you get a free trial version too and you can try reading your DVD using it. Alternatively since you are talking about a Game DVD, You would be having an invoice or transaction number. You could contact the developer of Spliter Cell and ask them for any other means so that you can play the game. They will help you just provide them with your transaction number or scanned copy of invoice. I hope it helps.

  5. You can try these websites too :- http://www.zapak.com/ http://www.miniclip.com/games/en/ http://www.agame.com/ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ You can also play some games on /?_fb_noscript=1 from your Facebook Account.
  6. You could give kPlaylist a try. It is a PHP and mySQL based script with a javascript player for music files (mp3, wav, etc). You can upload your music to your server and your clients could listen these songs kPlaylist : http://www.kplaylist.net/ Also if you know PHP and mySQL then you can create a server side script for playing music and use jPlayer on the client side. jPlayer is a HTML5 javascript media player library with flash fallback and javascript support. jPlayer : http://www.jplayer.org/ Also take care about the copyright and don't upload copyrighted music illegally. You can upload your own music creation or non-copyrighted music to a website but for copyrighted music you will require permission from the authority concerned (artists, labels). If you want to have copyrighted music illegally on your website then I strongly recommend that you should not do so as it would land you in trouble. Thank You
