  1. I think in all fairness, although the Xbox and PS3 are considerably more powerful than the Wii (with its 512MB RAM =D) you have to agree that in terms of sales and popularity, not just to gamers but to everyone, purely on sales and popularity here, because like I said the Wii has terrible hardware specs
  2. Sacred is alright but gets repetitive quicker than Diablo 2, there isn't as much optional character customisation as the class you choose has all available skill sets and you 'find' the skills which you can upgrade by finding them again The legendary weapons on sacred are nothing compared to Diablo 2 and you don't really feel like you can take on anything when you get a full set of items as they drop quite often. Diablo 2 is better in my opinion but sacred is still good if you want a break from Diablo 2
  3. Major bump but I cant wait for this game coming out, anyone got any idea on which class they want to play? monk first then witchdoctor for me it looks like Locust swarm ftw!
  4. A friend of mine here says all you have to do is practice a lot on expert, and use hammer-ons and pull-offs CONSTANTLY, once you learn to master these you will have to get good at all the songs individually, then you'll be awesome ^^
  5. Yeah this game is pretty awesome ^^ except there is a fad of 'k stylers' (Korean stylers) which are people taking advantage of movement and gameplay mechanic glitches, this isnt a bad thing as if you learn to do it yourself it is very handy, i myself am an 'e styler' (European styler) which prefers to throw grenades at k stylers and shoot them in the face Cuz they think no one can hit them when they block so you shoot them in their feet Really good game that I can strongly recommend
  6. But wouldn't that mean I will have to get rid of xp on the other or I will be unable to access it via a slave drive?

    Halo 3

The story is meh tbh The only thing that makes it really good is the online competitive matches Where you need to concentrate on map control and teamwork, this is what makes competitive halo awesome

    Halo 3

They will NEVER bring Halo 3 out for the pc I don't think, Halo 1 is out on pc but not Halo 2 so I think they stopped the pc franchise there, it is a really sad fact because Halo 2 and 3 would have been amazing on pc Maybe Halo: Reach will be better huh?
  9. Hey, I am looking to see if there is a way for me to go from Windows XP to Windows 7 without having to format my hard drive, is this possible or will a format be required? Thanks for the help
  10. I remember playing this game, had the best fun ever here, but I'll admit I got boosted a LOT :$ Always go for melee classes although the archers looked awesome fun to play. I'm sure this didn't work for me last time I tried it :s Any ideas why?

    Halo 3

The multiplayer is still very competitive, it is still in the MLG Pro circuit and therefore has a very big reward pay off, the most common weapon used online is the battle rifle, 3 bursts to the head or 4 to the body is a kill, which other than the power weapons (sword, sniper and rocket launcher) is the quickest way to kill someone I believe. A great competitive game for those who can play properly
  12. One of the best free fps games is quakelive (http://www.quakelive.com/ i think), this is pretty much quake played in your browser (some download required) it is a very competitive one and if you are trying to play it competitively you should visit https://play.eslgaming.com/america for europeans or https://play.eslgaming.com/america for americans.
  13. Has anyone heard anything about the promod? It is a new mod for Counter Strike:Source coming out that is a happy medium between CS 1.6 and CS:S, allowing people who liked both genres to participate in the game again, it is a very good idea in my opinion as it will bring two heavily competitive games together and the tournament scene will be huge!I want to get training for this as soon as possible, if you practice on it now you'll get better than the people who plan on coming straight from 1.6 or Source onto this game quicker, allowing you to swoop into the tournaments with an advantage. However I have heard that the tournament has a strict learning curve.
  14. Yeah i belong to a very competitive Melee scene in the UK (although I'm not good yet, only started recently) and I have to say the competition is vicious, there are so many different techniques and matchups that you need to know but that makes this game even deeper.the metagame of this game is still evolving, meaning the best players are improving how to play the game, making it deeper and deeper, definately a 10/10 game.
  15. This is a really deep game with a lot of different game modes you can play, I myself used to belong to a clan (yes, there is a competitive Brawl community ) and it was great fun, there are many different techniques that people who just play with their friends wont know about, but make the game so much deeper, such as DI (directional influence, when you get hit away you influence which you will fly away to) and these in my opinion are what make the game so good
  16. From what i've found, unless you are in a clan or looking to be in one then the best servers are 24/7 office/dust2/inferno etc matches, these allow for a match playing against multiple skilled opponents. They can be quite intimidating at first though because there may be a point where one team is stuck on pistols and the other all have AWPs, which can get annoying
  17. The only problem for Cod6 (Modern Warfare2) for the PC is that there aren't any dedicated servers, what this means is that instead of having buildings full of servers that host the game, the game chooses a host from the players, the main thing this does is give the host a massive advantage over the rest of the players. The host does not lag so if you shoot the host at the same time he shoots you, you die and he is unharmed, this is even true if he shoots after you shoot him sometimes, leading to the host being accused of many things such as hacker, aimbotter, wallhacker etc. Apart from that obvious issue it is a very fun game to play, because of the weapon unlocks which were previously mentioned, and the title (callsigns?), emblems and kill streak combinations you can choose. It's also fun to use a ninja class this is a class with marathon, commander (commando?) and I forgot the other one This class is especially useful on Favela
  18. I am going to write about the current matchups between a scout and the other classes, this will help you get a better understanding of how to play the class in a strictly 1v1 situation.Scout vs Scout: This matchup is to do with skill and map knowledge, you do not want to run into a wall when the enemy scout is at point blank range as this would mean you are dead, you want to keep moving along the floor without stopping, changing direction as often as possible all the time while aiming and shooting at the enemy scout. Do not jump against other scouts if they are mid-close range as you cannot change direction as freely in the air and this could also mean death. If you are out of scattergun rounds do not run around reloading, switch to your pistol for long range accuracy, 2 full pistol rounds will kill an enemy scout.Scout vs Pyro: The dreaded pyro, as a scout you most engage them at long range, i know this isn't what you want to do as scouts are better close range, but at short range a pyro will win, use your pistol and 2 rounds should take him down, if you must get close (or you are already close and on fire) try to shoot them from the back, if a pyro flames you do not run away, run into their face and shoot them in it.Scout vs Soldier: Do not let a soldier get above you, if a good soldier is above a scout he will kill him in one shot unless you are VERY good at evading, stay away from walls and try to be in the air as often as possible, but do not make your air movements predictable or this will also end in death.Scout vs Heavy: A scouts easiest matchup, in my opinion, if you are in an open area you can attack a heavy from behind with your scattergun (3 shots point blank, usually takes me 4) or bat, then run around him (being VERY careful not to run into his minigun fire) and also jumping over/on top of him. If you are in an enclosed area and see the heavy with his back against a wall it is best to avoid this fight unless you are very confident.Scout vs Engineer: Think of an engineer as a weaker slower scout, the only difference is this weaker slower scout probably has a sentry gun around the next corner he's going to run round, attack him if he is in the open, but do not follow him round any corners or it could be suicide.Scout vs Demoman: The demoman has one weakness: close range. If you run at a demoman straight he we shoot a grenade at you, it will hit you and you will die, you need to move erratically (which you should be constantly doing since you are a scout anyway) to get in his face, then keep running and jumping around him while shooting till he dies.Scout vs Sniper: If a good sniper sees you, you are already dead, a sniper can aim faster than the scouts can run, and however much faster the scout is than normal classes, if the sniper is good he can hit you, you need to catch him while he is aiming by coming through an entrance he isn't expecting and then 2 point blank shots with the scattergun should take him down, be careful though because he has a powerful melee weapon with a high crit rate.Scout vs Spy: This matchup does not occur often as you are both trying to get behind the other's front lines, but if it does you should run at the spy (dodging from side to side a little bit) and shoot him in the face, spies aren't very powerful in a fair 1v1. Scouts are also very good at checking for spies as they are the fastest runners, so if you charge ahead at the beginning of the match and suddenly there is a friendly engineer ahead of you, spy check and probably shoot him twice in the face.Scout vs Medic: Medics are not the most powerful battle class in the game but they are a scouts main targets, as a scout is one of the few classes that can behind the enemy lines and get to the medic, if you see the medic's patient (the big heavy/demoman/soldier he is healing) notice you then run, but if not feel free to take potshots at the medic. The medic can also be a very powerful fighter though, if you find yourself in a corridoor with a medic then run, as they will use their syringe gun which will destroy your health but regenerate his quite fast, fighting a medic in the open should be a breeze, just dont get right next to him as his melee weapon is very powerful.Thank you for your patience reading this, if you have any feedback feel free to post it.
