I had removed all other media players,including Winamp and VLC, from my system and was using Windows Media Player 10. However, I have changed my mind about Media Player as it hangs sometimes and asks for Indeo codecs and so on which are not available on the Microsoft site. I recently re-downloaded the latest version of WinAmp Pro and I am really impressed with its new and better features especially its ripping and burning capabilities.I cannot say about Beta version of Media Player as I have not downloaded it thanks to the message I get when I click the ``update Media Player icon'' that my version (10) is up-to-date.

I spend near 12-14 hours online accessing the Net and can be said to be really addicted. In fact, my wife quarrels with me for not sleeping properly. Also, I have developed severe pain in my left hand with which I operate the mouse.But the addiction is so strong that I am unable to resist the temptation to sit before the PC and access the Net. My justification is that I have to constantly check and monitor the news events but in reality I want to escape to a different virtual reality.

I am a journalist by profession and I practice and teach Reiki in my spare time.I am 47 and live in India. I am married and have one daughter.I am into spiritual things besides computers and software.
