After scowling the forum I noticed that no one talked or mentioned Fallout 1 & 2.... seriously you want to talk about old skool games FO 1 & 2 are classics they are what makes a RPG an RPG there plot and story line where immersive and there world was huge there was a total freedom thing going on there, where you could do what you want and at the time that was new to a RPG or any game for that matter, in my personal opinion I think that fallout 1 and 2 are all time great games.Same thing for Duke Nukem 3D and day of the tentacle, they are what made the gaming industry what it is Today they are games worth talking about and discussing or even arguing about they are what made people stand up and look.

Ok this seems to be a very touchy subject so ill tread lightly....from what i have been told and what developers have hinted, most packages don’t log your IP or log anything to do with your system, there "live" updates as they like to call will go as far as check to see if that package is registered on there network or within there data base if the serial or activation code is in accordance with there data base then its ok and everything is fine, if not then they will ask if you want to register. Developers hint at tracking and logging "Pirated" packages is to time consuming to program it’s a waste of time. Not only that but what’s to say that the person that has an incorrect or duplicate code is not (to put it bluntly) Stupid, they can’t read, they can’t type or they don’t understand it and what have you. There has to be a clear and distinct definition between stupid users and pirate users, and automated updates and loggers can’t dispute that.Having said what I have I am totally and utterly against pirated software it’s stealing and any book, if you like a program or package, bye it!!! And support your loved companies so that they can bring out more of what you like and better.i do not condone pirating in any way. And nor should you what I have talked about here is a debate we had at a work conference about such issues.

Both 3DMark05 and PCMark05 are great System bench markers, if your into the over clocking and sys tweaking then your ganna need these programs, they give you detailed information about system specs and performance weak points and strong points within your set up. Very useful to have. They are also good for I told you mine is better than yours debates. They are free to don’t need to pay a cent for em ill see if I can find a web link for them. What do you think of them?

why not try out something like Carrara or Raydream by Corel both are relatively cheep around $300 its can get cheaper depending on the version but its simple to use and has allot of great features its user friendly and has great tutorials for beginners. It’s my personal favorite used it since i started.Ray dream is a Corel 3D editor its old and out dated and doesn’t support animation every well and is a bit hard to use but i think it might be free now i think Corel abandon it. So you might want to give that a go or ever cararra. Here are the links to carrara:http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ might have to look around for raydream like i said its ooollllldddd.

I would have to say that Corel is O.K. I used it a loooooonnnnngggggg time ago when I first started to get into graphics and such it was tops back then and it lead me onto Photoshop, having said that one of my work mates uses the new Corel and having had a go of it on his PC id have to say that it was disappointing, it doesn’t even compare to Photoshop. So id say that no, it isn’t any good in my opinion, but then again it’s very different to Photoshop and it all depends on personal preference id suggest you get the free trials of each and have a look see at them.

I must say that Photoshop 7 is the way to go for me for the simple fact that it’s what I have always used, I don’t know old habits or something...What do you guys use for 3D graphics? Personally I like Carrara and 3Ds MAX although 3DsM is a bit to complex for me I don’t really like learning new programs, especially if I like one and know one better. Carrara is very user friendly only thing is it chews up system recourses
