I run a forum, and have run many since 2004, I have had many under populated forums, and never one that's lasted more than 3 months.Once one dies their, I wait a couple of weeks, make a new one, email my old members get some new members, and then it lasts me abit longer.The one i'm running now is in a state of 'doing it up' I am currently making the site for it, but I can't revamp the forum as I want them both to look similar. I have used Invisionfree and phpBB, but no others. phpBB I just couldn't get my head around properly as I had been using Invisionfree for 2 years.

if it can work with both Internet explorer and Mozilla fireofx, then it is probably perfect for me. I use both of them, but for different reasons.I'll try get the hang of it, it'll maek it heaps easier.Can you get plugins and skins etc for it to change its look? I know you don't see it much but still.

I played it a couple of months ago, i would rate it 7 out of 10. It was good, but got really boring. Although killing people in the wilderness was freaking awesome. Sending them back to the start and collecting their gears.It was good, having to work for your money and everythng, I just got bored so stopped playing it. For all I know my account has probably been hacked by now.

First of, I am not sure if this is meant to be here or in the web design, as it's about web templates, but aren't actually on or to do with the net yet. Ok, I have made a web template, it red, its for my site silezigns. (my username is not my normal one) I made one, but have been asking people what colour would look the best, and I have had mixed results, so I am posting it here to see of I can get a final result, and is majorly holding me up. Their are six colour options and their is a seperate link to each of them, they are all 800 x 600, and are exactly the same except the colour. (If you have slow internet I would advise to avoid this topic) Here are your options: The Red Layout The Green Layout The Purple Layout The Blue Layout The Navy Blue Layout The Gold Layout Please help me out, this is really starting to get on my nerves... P.S. Please DO NOT suggest letting the user have the option of choosing the colour, it makes it quite difficult on me. P.S.S. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated. P.S.S.S. My Dad uses his cellphone all the time while he is driving, but he has got a awesome handsfree kit, Supertooth. He owns his own business changing and supplying mags, tyres, and car accessories. He is the only fleet serviceman, (it makes it abit hard on our family, we don't get to see him lots) but because he is the manager and the only fleet service man, he has to. Other wise he loses business, which loses money which sets him back abit, putting him right back where he started.I don't think it is a good idea, but sometimes it just has to be done, in this case for instance. I don't want my Dad to have to start all over again, he is comfortable as he is. (I don't think he is because he works to much.)Anyway, I don't have anything against people driving while on the phone, I just think that their could be a better way of having it done.'NB: It's amazing what a topic like this can make you post....

What is your opinion on Macromedia Dreamweaver MX?I got a couple of days ago and want to know what your opinion on it is. From what I have used of it so far, i think it is absolutely awesome, the WYSIWYG feature makes it so much easier to put together.I am currently using it to put my first personal template together, so it is web friendly. So far it has worked great and between IE and FireFox it appears almost identical.What do you think of it?

I design my own, it so much better, and you can get the look and feel that you want. I just recently finished one for a site i'm making but at work we have to make a few of them and to get the feel the customer wants an dcan start to get quite difficult.And like minnieadkins said, you can add your own bits in for shoutbox, etc.I suppose it really depends on what the site is for and who is in charge of it.

ok, well, i don't go to many places, hotmail, AOL, yahoo, my site, here and a few other places. But I am starting to find it quite difficult to remember my passwords, as I make long ones to try and avoid people hacking me, 'cause thats just not cool.Based upon what you said m^e I think I may use. I suppose its always possible for me to try and add things to make it more secure, and no matter what you do, you can always be hacked by someone who has the skill.(2-300 times a day, thats quite abit)

I use internet explorer, I think it is the best, 9i know it isn't but its because of what i'm used to) I have been using for about 7 years, so have never really opted to change.I have got FireFox and AOL Browser but I only use them to make sure any coding, websites, or anything appears right in all browsers. Some of them can turn up quite differently if you accidentally do something wrong.As for your site, it really does look like it is their to point out that FireFox is better. Ok, so they have the tabs, its easier to change the skin, bla, bla, bla. Its not like you can't download plugins for internet explorer to do the exact same thing. I downloaded the tab's plugin for IE, i think it works better than FireFox's. It take's abit more effort, but it makes life worth living.What would be the point in living if everything was simple and easy???

It is abit boring. It needs more color variation. Grey is an incredibly boring color, or whatever you would like to call it. I'm no professional or anything, but I am training under a web-master so, keep at it.

I personally use Imesh. http://www.imesh.com/ it is mainly for music downloads, but the version 5.0 lets you download whatever is available. I have used it to get quite a few things, but yeah. try it and you'll find it out for yourself. The Risk Level is probably Medium, everything i have downloaded has been virus free, but i have heard people are getting viruses are from it.

I have only played RuneScape, i'm not really one for games, so I usually just do other things. I have been palying DarkThrone which isn't really a game, it's just a click this, click that game. Not much fun, but it fills about 3 minutes of your day.

Hotmail was winning, before Gmail came out. Now everyone is moving to Gmail because it offers more space. I have a Gmail account and yet I still stick to hotmail, I just couldn't be bothered changing but yeah.Gmail will win, apart from the fact the offer the most space, they still provide better services, etc.Personally I will always stay with hotmail, at least until i get my own internet plan. Go Hotmail!!!

My mum got this piece of software with her new computer that she bought about a month ago.The software is called RoboForm, and what it does is let you store username/passwords for the different websites you visit. For example, it could remember my username and password for this site, whilst having a different username and password for Real GFX (just a forum I visit) and then remembering youe email and password for hotmail. I copied it of my mum's computer and put it on mine, but havn't used it yet.What I want to know is, waas it worth the effort to get it? or a waste of time? And more importantly, is their a better one i can get for free???

I don't get how it would help either. I have Micorsoft Office 2003 on my laptop, but don't use it that much. It may be to test it out but if the files disappear when you close the browse whats the point. It would be better if the files you saved were uploaded to the net, so you can also access them on other computers. It may be just a test run, but it still needs abit of tweaking.

I watched New Zealand verses Norway in the Curling, well at least I think it was Norway. The score ended up being something like 6-8 with NZ losing.After watching that though, I still can't quite figure out how they do the scoring and everything. It all to confusing for me.

Ok, thanks for that. It saves me a whole lot of mucking around looking at shops. I should be able to get a BroadBand router reasonably cheap. (My boss is having a major sale) and I can get a few cables to. I may just have to do it with wires, as my money is reasonably tight.

Wow!! those look sweet, I started to mod the outside of my laptop. It wasn't going very fast so I've put it on hold until I get abit more money. At the moment it just has a basic dragon decally thing on the lid, but it's not that great. I've done a few other various alterations, I'll post a picture as soon as my digital camera starts to work properly.

I have been looking around on google and yahoo and various other search engines trying to find a free WMA to mp3 converter. I have found a lot of trials that either expire in 15 days/30 days, or you can only chenge so many songs. Does anyone know if their is one out their that is absolutely and completely free?I need to convert them to put on my phone, it won't play WMA, and it is getting real annoying. Please help!!!
