  1. I feel the same way. I absolutely love Australia and just couldn't think about what it would be like to live in a different country. And thank you for answering my question, mircoscopic. I figured it may have been that, but I wasn't exactly sure because it actually doesn't really say anywhere here in the Introductions and Welcome forum that posting in here won't add to your post count. So yeah, was just a little confused about it.
  2. Well, I know HTML, I know CSS, so the next step is learning Javascript. I have heard that it is sort of an easier way to do things than PHP, though I would very much like to learn PHP as well. So, I thought that if I learnt Javascript, I might find it easier to learn PHP when I get to that point. The problem though is actually finding out the best way to learn Javascript.I have been to websites and things, but every time I read through the tutorials and articles and things, I didn't learn anything. It when in one ear and out the other, you could say. So, that is why I am psoting this. I would very much love to know what the best (easiest and quickest) way to learn Javascript.Thank you in advanced.
  3. Well, I started out with PSP. And as people have been saying it is great for beginners. I found it easy to use. The only problem was that it didn't offer me enough features and effects. I had heard about PS and about how good it was, so I decided to switch to that.I haven't gone back.As soon as I started using PS, I found myself thinking, 'How could I have ever used PSP?'. Now, I am not a professional graphic/web designer or anything, but I have found that PS is the best graphics program out there. It offers so much more than what the others offer. I have to admit, it does take time to learn how all of the things work. I have had it for a few years now and I still don't know how some things work. But once, I got used to it I found it very easy to use.So, Photoshop all the way for me!
  4. I have been on forums for years now, so I have gotten into the habit of writing properly instead of using chat speak or something like that. Plus, I figure because I write properly (or as properly as I can.) it will make people take me seriously.Anyway, I have a small question. In which forums do you get hosting credit for posting? Ever since I have started to post around, I have noticed that I only got hosting credits for one of my posts. And yeah, I tried looking for the answer to this question everywhere, but I couldn't find it, so I thought I might just ask.
  5. Thank you all for the welcomes! And I have a feeling this place is going to help me be more talkative. Of course, I am here for the hosting, but its probably going to take me sometime to get it because I have always sort of been on the quiet side all my life. That is why I am looking forward to getting into this place. Not only will I get hosting, but it will sort of force me to be more talkative. I have been wanting the practice for years now.And you all seem so nice, which is also another bonus.
  6. Hello,I just thought I might introduce myself. I am a 19 year old female from Australia. Hmm, I am not that great at these things. Uh, my interests can be found in my profile, but just incase you are too lazy to look, they are: Singing, acting, reading, writing, drawing, web design, graphic design, video games, anime and manga, make-up and other things that I can't think of at the moment.I am currently unemployed and looking for work, but not having very much luck with it. But, I hope I do soon because I really need the money. Plus, it would mean that I would be able to get paid hosting for my graphics website that I would like to make and yeah.I guess that is about it for now. I hope to make some friends here, or at least get to be able to talk to a few people and yeah.Hello. ^^
  7. I am a role player and so my screen names are always the name of my character. I also always make up the name myself. I usually go through a few names in my head until I find the right one. So, I don't really get my screen names from anywhere in particular. Just from inside my head.*shrugs*I have always been told that I am good at coming up with strange, different and new names, so I use them.
  8. I am on DeviantArt. I have been for a while now. I think it is a great place. The only problem with it is that people only seem to comment on the really good artwork. The whole point of me putting up my artwork is so I can get some comments and critism on them. I am always looking to improve, but I hardly ever get real constructive comments for my things on DA.There are a lot of good things about it though. It was where I first learned about photomanipulation, and now I love doing it! I am also know among my friends on DA for my photomanipulations. So yeah, I like DeviantArt.
