Having read everyone elses comments I have to say I was rather relieved to find that atleast a few people use Paint Shop Pro. I spent ages learning how to use Paint Shop Pro back when it was PSP7, I was just making avatars and email signatures on an msn community with some other artists. I'm not entirely sure if you can call avatars and email signatures art though...Even now that Paint Shop Pro has progressed so much further since the PSP7 release it's still the version I favour. I have a large collection of filters, picture tubes and masks that help me do pretty much anything I want with the software.I'm not entirely sure what will happen to Paint Shop Pro now that Corel have taken over from Jasc software but hopefully it will continue to advance. As for photoshop? Well I'll be honest, I have photoshop 7 and I've never really taken the time to get to know how to use it....whether it's any better than Paint Shop Pro or not I do not know, and as for GIMP, I've never heard of it, I will have to take a look at it sometime. I hope you lot will tell me if I'm actually missing out on something here.....I'm always open to change, I'm comfortable with PSP but I wouldn't have much of an idea what other programs have to offer.Any information would be greatly appreciated

Hey everyone, I just thought I'd introduce myself and tell you guys....and girls a bit about me. So, I'm Kerry, I'm a 23 year old guy in Suffolk, and I know Kerry is a rather weird name for a guy, unless you know a fair bit about Celtic which I must admit I don't, it's just something I've heard. Anyway, I've been studying all sorts of computing courses since I left highschool. I've also taught myself a lot from the internet etc. So far I can claim to knowing HTML, Visual Basic, SQL, currently learning PHP and MySQL. I'd just like to say now that although I claim to knowing HTML, Visual Basic and SQL I would in no right call myself a master in any of these.Anyway, apart from programming I take great interest in digital graphics, website design, and online gaming, I can often be found in the shadowy depths of GameSpy on Medal of Honour - SpearheadErmmm....well I think thats about it....

Secret Behind Your Nick/User Names Where did they come from?
archangelxxii replied to szupie's topic in Introductions
I can't but feel in awe of some of the stories that have been told here. Some of you have actually put some real thought into the name you use on sites. I'm beginning to think I may still be going through the phase of "Oh yeah, that sounds kinda cool, I'll have that"......I have 2 user names I normally choose between on different sites, beginning to wish I'd have picked the other one, atleast that one has a small story to tell.Oh well, I chose it a while back because I thought it sounded kinda cool........*waits for everyone to stop looking before makin a run for it* -
Well, as you seem to have gained my attention at leat, I thought I would take a second to welcome you to the Xisto. It's slightly strange me doing this though as I'm actually so new to this site that I've still not actually posted my own introduction yet. I agree with you on the services that Xisto offer people though, it seems to me that to get such a comprehensive package for the little time it takes to post on the discussion boards is a brilliant way of doing things.... As for R/C cars, I have to admit that up until a few weeks ago I've not given the R/C world much attention. I keep seeing the adverts for those petrol remote control cars though, the ones that can get up to pretty impressive speeds. They sell the kits that you purchase and put together yourself which is something I'd love to do. Although having the money and the free time are another thing completely. Anyway, enough of this, welcome to the site...hopefully it's just as good as it seems.
