  1. I've been programming for 2 years I started with C++ nevertheless it was too difficult for me and i switched to Pascal and then to C. After getting some experience in DOS-programming i started learning WEB-lanugages. First were PHP and SQL. Now i'm learning WinAPI functions and Windows-programming at all

  3. You can do it without formatting your hard drive :-) But then you will have to remove prevoius WINDOWS installation directories (Windows ect.)

  9. I use Ad-ware as a spyware remover, KERIO PERSONAL FIREWALL as a firewall and Dr. WEB as Antivirus program
  10. I've been using Slackware for 6 months. I can't say that it's interface is friendly enough however it's the most configurable distribution i've ever used

But i don't think that it will be enough In WINDOWS XP i always perform these steps to connect to the Internet: 1) Control panel 2) Network Connections 3) File -> New Connection 4) Connect to the internet 5) Set up my connection manually 6) Connect using a broadband connection that requires a user name and password (!!!) Then i have to enter my username and password After this i activate a special shortcut that connects my computer to the Internet. But i can't find any program like this in Slackware 9.1 P.S.: how to enable DHCP in command line ?

  15. Yes, pretty big resource. But actually i need a tutorial. Could anyone give me a site with JAVA tutorials ?
  16. If you want to code it yourself create a table that will consist of 2 columns: user name and password hash. This you will need for your user's data storing. If there is a guest book on your site create a table with may be 4 columns that are: record id, name of a user who posted it, his e-mail address and a text of a message. Something like this

  20. I worked with both of these languages. IMHO PHP is a better choice when you're working with an SQL Server like MySQL.
