  3. Just read yesterday that there are over 5 million world of warcraft players now. What's with this trend that people play so much of those 'alternate reality chatting and stuff' games. I mean, why would you want to play such a game, you have a life of your own. Don't get me wrong, I play games too, but only FPS games because that's something you can't do in reallife and get away with it :P

Could someone explain what is so much fun about spending your time chatting with other characters in a game-world. Is it a substitute social life or something???? :|

I mean, pwning them is so much more fun :P:huh:

Because then you can do things you can't do in the real world? :)

  4. I find that it lacks alot of depth. I'd suggest that you try using multiple layers and then you can blend in your layers and add different kind of filters and thus give it more depth. The text doesn't stand out much and the logo underneath it doesn't seem to really look to be apart of the text, overall it doesn't seem to blend together with the background well. Not too bad I guess just kinda bland. :huh:Oh and techocian I love your sig. :)

  5. I disagree, http://www.footballglory.com/ is the best 'football' online management game. Only due to the sheer simplicity of it and the transfer market is great. The game is into Season 16 (or something like that) and although most of the original players have retired there are alot of 'fake' youths which are devoloped by your own Youth Training Facility in which you can sign youths and an array of different kind of coaches. You can also sign sponsors to increase your income.

This is a game for you if you wish to feel proud when your team promotes because it isn't easy.

It's free aswell, though it does take some time to get a team but I can tell you it's worth the wait. Oh and all the team names are real.

  6. Hi,I've been without a sound card for quiet awhile (I think forever ) but just curious if they're really needed for gaming, I only use a headset. Though sometimes my Counter-Strike Source game will freeze up would a game freeze up due to 'too much sound' and because I have no sound card it can't render all the noise at once. Okay maybe I'm blabbering on a bit, to be honest I have no clue about the hardware aspect of computers. But do you need a sound card now days?

  7. Stumbled apon this amazing site when looking through the heap of sites on 'freewebspace' site. The amount of forums on this forum is good and should keep my interest. Though I must admit that some of the posts that people are making here and a bit too long for my young (15  ) eyes. Nonetheless, just giving ya'll a yell. 'Seeya around, :)

  8. I haven't played many FPS but I've played the best of the best.Counter-Strike SourceAmerica's Army (Free game, good as a paid game)Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory (Free game, pretty good)Battlefield 2Call of Duty 2Basicly all I could think of at the time. The last two I listed, I haven't played but have gotten good praises from critics.

  9. I didn't feel comfortable about bringing up an old thread, so I thought I'd create a new thread. I'd like to know the lingo of America's Army, like the ones where people tell you the enemys location (ie; erb or something to that extent) and any other kind of lingo.Probabaly would've been best posting such question on a America's Army forum but I'm here to get posts aren't I?
