Freelancer: The Forgotten Game
shostako2150 replied to crs_cwiz1405241504's topic in Computer Gaming
I played the demo of this game. It was very good! I found it very similar to the mech warrior series. I would seriously consider buying this game. thanks for the introduction guys : ) I had never heard of this game until you all mentioned it.-hans -
I'm wondering what you all think about the myst series, because I'm interested in buying the complete collection.I've played the first myst and it was very good, then I played the third one. I was very dissapointed : ( the graphics were great, but the puzzles were... um just stupid. I feel like they made the game easier just to increase sales. So I was wondering if myst 4 or 5 are equally easy. I know Riven is supposed to be the hardest of them all (but it is very hard to find) and I dont know if it will be worth it if the rest of the series is short and easy.-Hans

Of all the games I've ever played, Final Fantasy Tactics is the only one I could play more than 5 times without getting bored. If you have played it, you probably know what I'm talking about. It has a lot of import gaming factors that are overlooked by todays more modern games. For example: music. Good music can pretty much make anything good, whether a game or a movie. Nobuo Uematsu writes all of the music for the Final Fantasy games, and he is a very skilled composer. another thing that is often overlooked in today's games is an in depth plot. a lot of games today focus on making a story, based on making excuses (not reasons), for going around and blowing things up. I hate this kind of mindless self indulgence. another thing that games lack these days are tactical/stategical challenge. many games are based on moving your gun fast enough to get the bad guys before they get you. These are the kind of games that people buy and expect to beat while they wait for a pizza they might have ordered 5 minutes ago. If you agree or disagree with my opinions, please let me know and share your reasons why.-Hans

I have a 512 megabyte Sandisk cruzer micro and i love it! its very small and very affordable, i got mine for 30 dollars at staples. If you're a student like me, a sandisk is will save you soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much time!!!!!! i swear i probably wouldnt be passing my flash animation of video production class without it! I use it mostly to transport sound effects and video clips and music which i use constantly in any of my flash or video projects. USB storage devices are very worth whatever the price. If you dont have one you should get one. and yes i realize im rambling now, but i need those 10 points ot host a website of mine that I made in flash class. wish me luck : )-HansBtw- anybody played earth2150? <-- its a very good strategy game and they even have a sequal now which would purchase if i had all the free time needed to play it ttyall later

Thanks. I'm really into music composition and theory . . . well not the theory part so much lol : ) I'm into 20th century classical composers like Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Khachaturian, Rimsky-Korsakov, and even Stravinsky. I really love the passion in their music. ever heard any of their music? I highly recommend it.-HansBtw- are there any other music fans on this forum with similar interests in musical styles?

Discussion About Blizzard Games
shostako2150 replied to KonVicKt's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Im more of a square-enix fan myself, nothing beats final fantasy 7-8-9 and Tactics.but anyway, I think the best series blizzard put out was WarCraft. I've played the first one and heard good things about World of Warcraft. Diablo was good too i guess, but I've never really gotten into starcraft either.-Hansbtw- anybody seen FF7 Advent Children yet? -
Of all thefree internet browsers, which ones do you find the best. Personally I'm using Opera. I like it's multi-page format, but there are some things that Opera just can't support. Do you know of anything that may be better? If so please share. Thanks in advance.-Hans
