  1. Hey I know this topic is pretty old but I found something called Wubi. What it does is install your flavor of choice of Ubuntu (Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Edubuntu, etc) along side windows. You install in inside of windows, and you can uninstall it from the Add/Remove programs inside windows. I'm using it right now because i've always managed to mess up installing linux (regular installs and dual boot with windows). Granted I've only been using it for about a week its been great. What foolakadugie said about the graphical installer is true. It comes with a list of programs to install including alot of things (or alternatives for) things I was already using in windows. I had installed Windows Vista and was getting tired of so many programs not working right with it (including the new aim completely disabling my internet ... Just give it a try and it can't hurt because you can just uninstall it if you want. Read the FAQ on the website to learn about how it installs inside of windows and more about the project. (oh and nothing in the ubuntu installation is branded with wubi. Wubi is basically just the installation program for inside windows. https://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop (I hope this can help other people also!)
  2. Hey cyborg, I reccomend a Tippman 98 custom. Me and two other people I work with bought a three pack of Gun, Mask, And tank and just split the buy it now cost between us. I love my new paint ball gun. Ebay gets more and more exciting every day.I'm sure though one day i'll end up getting ripped off or a friend of mine will get ripped off, then my opinion of ebay will change rapidly. But as of now, I <3 ebay!
  3. I am truly amazed. Like speechless. You've inspired me to go play with the brushes and try this out myself... if it doesn't work I may have to borrow your for the season (whats left of it).(with a nice link to you if you'd like)
  4. Well its late here, and i'm real tired, but i'm interested in this too. As many of the previous posters in this thread, i'm not much of an application programmer, but I can code a website pretty good. I also have pretty impeccible grammar... at least better than most. I'm always correcting my friends, then look like a hypocrite when i make a mistake. (ha, i just had to google for hypocrite)Anywho, i'll get myself signed up at the anitlost forums and hopefully tomorrow i'll be able to request hosting on this site. I'm looking forward to being active on both sites.
  5. I would test out uploadport.com but when i tried to upload something it said uploading was temporarily disabled. But it looks promising. Rapidshare though is getting out of control. Its pretty good speeds, but i'm not so sure i want to pay them money. I only use it once in a blue moon... so it owuld be pointless!
  6. eBay is my best friend. I've bought my last two cell phones (granted used, but great condition) on there, because i'm not eligible for the lower price offered by my cellular provider.I also bought some computer parts off a website which I didn't feel like dealing with for a refund, (they weren't for my computer.. my mistake) so I sold them on ebay and made money off of them!I also have been keeping an eye on those XBOX 360's... they are selling for WAY more than i would have ever imagined... so i'm going to get on a couple Pre-Order lists for the new Playstation3 and then sell em on ebay. I'm not big into gaming so a PS3 wouldn't really do me much good sitting next to my tv.. cash in the bank would do me alot of good.So i guess that proves another good thing about ebay... you can find rare items not so easily found in your own town.
