Myspace has gotten so much more of a following and reponse over livejournal.. bands, movie stars and film companies(Saw 2 with Jigsaw's myspace) are using it to promote themselves.It's crazy, really. The general public picked up on this so much faster than livejournal and it's doing so much better, I wouldn't be suprised if they made paid accounts soon since they were recently bought out.

This program has been recommended by the guy's at G4's Call For Help, it's a very good program, I've tried it myself. Previously for my undelete needs I was using Tune Up Utilities, but that program isn't near as efficient as this one(Tuneup constantly nags, etc). http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Last week the guys at Call For Help on G4 took a PC and ran scans with a bunch of different free(and pay) programs but chose NOT to delete the spyware, then ran the next program and checked what it found. Suprisingly, Microsoft Anti-Spyware found ALL of the older spyware, but not any of the newer ones. Keep in mind that program is in BETA, and therefore might not have updated definitions the way they want them yet, so that could be why. Nonetheless, no other program found ALL of the older spyware, so it is ranked #1 on their list. My spyware routine now consists of Microsoft anti-spyware, followed by Spybot and then Ad-Aware!

I plan on getting a laptop soon and didn't know about this! Thanks for the information, as the battery that comes with the laptop probably isn't half-way decent and I can probably use this to spare some more charge out of it. Sweet.Shame that it voids warranties, though. Can they really find out if you clock it back to it's normal speed?

It's a shame that noone has yet to release USEFUL and free video editting software. There's free software for virtually every purpose except this. By useful, I mean selection of and ability to drag multiple layer tracks for audio and video, a plus would be filters. Windows Movie Maker does a decent job at video editting, but unfortunately only saves as WMV, and many programs don't support editting of WMV, so it's tough.

Isn't there a "new" hotmail interface coming out? It's supposed to be extremely cool, showing the progress your your attachments both up and download. I wouldn't be suprised if Google made the g-mail drive program unusable, they're going to run out of space sooner or later. The general public doesn't even know what g-mail is, though..mostly PC savvy people, so maybe not.

Yeah, I second DBPoweramp..much more fluid conversion than Winamp.
