err... although darkthrone is an online game it is CERTAINLY text-based and is CERTAINLY NOT an RPG game as i said i the decription, its a text based army game (army based) where you manage troops and their weapons, attack people etc..

picked this game up from the kings of chaos thread i created its called darkthrone (found HERE) and i find it somewhat more ...interesting than Kings of Chaos is.. and so do a few of my mates i am currently not a very high rank as i only started playing a few days ago but its fun none the less! by the way: am i allowed to post my recruiting link here?

please could someone give me a more specific opinion on which one is better? (mambo vs xoops) i am currently using xoops but i don't really like some of the ...way they do stuff, e.g. the modules and themes/skins are limited (tell me if they're better than any other CMS's) and i want to know if mambo or any other one is better

haha, fancy metioning maple story...i am just trying to donwload it and i am waiting for the registering to open :)i used to play beta but chose the wrong job/vocation and stuffed up my stats and therfore found ti very boring

i think the spy and sentry bug is fixed ( i only said 'i think').a few people i knwo stopped playing for the same reason...just people back to get revenge and repeatedly harrasing each other, kinda screwy :)that's what alliances are for i guess

good point, but with the higher speeds, wouldn't there be a better way of combatting this type of chaos? i mean, the internet is getting faster and faster anyway and the trouble hasn't increased too much...(has it? am i wrong?)

Very amusing... I once got an email directing me to some of these sites...and my friend got addicted to them :)he now searches up junk on the internet and sends it to us every now and then

i think they probably get the money to provide you with the 'free' junk by infecting your system with spyware and adware :)They probably get paid loads and rarely give out 'free' things anyway

lol, nice thing to put your recruiting link there... wonder how may people have clicked it (i did) I have heard of darkthrone, but i have never really looked at it until now it seems very similar to kings of chaos except that you can train untrained men/citizens into miners which gather gold for you am i right? It looks really good that's nice. and you say there arean't many people playing this game? but enough to keep the game going?

haha, nice fact madcrow! what dya think will happen? I agree, the technology is moving very fast and i see many of my 'techonologically interested' relatives with stocks of disc players, storage, burners, recorders and many more one of them even has a laser-disc player!

yea that was a good idea, my friend did that aswell now all the high levels are low and people are taking advantage of that I had 3 lvl 24+ wen i quit... but it was pretty fun anyway. Repetative is true

i've heard of these games, but i don't really like them myself. There was this one called forlorn hope i think but i stopped playing as soon as i started :)I myself prefer army-based text-based games where you creat and build your army and manage it well enough to dominate but that's just my opinionI am currently playing a game called a Kings of Chaos and if anyone plays, i would like to hear from them

sorry for bringing up this old post, but i also have a problem with my disk usage... i got an email stating that i was using about 500% of my current disk space and when i checked i was usuing about 119mb/20mb and the only thing i've uploaded is Xoops (5mb) will my account get suspended?should i pm an admin?

cool tip wykked why dont you try a content management system... i think their really good for user groups/clans and stuff im currently trying Xoops out. The content is quite easy to manage and there are modules(plugins) to help you with certain things like chatrooms and organizers. You can also donwload premade themes which can reflect on what your site should be about.

its supposed to be a disc which is the next step after dvds its also supposed to replace the standard cd and dvds/vcds as data storage and movie/music playback

i also agree that with the edges sharper, it would look nicer.But its great work anyway
