  1. Even though i only use a home computer i have also noticed how sluggish it makes it although i find that it only happens on pro it doesnt seem to effect home. however i decided to get rid of it and install norton system works and google toolbar wich together gave the same and better effect than sp2. sp2 also gets annoying with its constant bubbles telling you that your system is under virus threat or something like that. it also stopped me from connecting to game arena
  2. I cant see how they can be compared because they were both made at different times. if they were made at the same time halo 1 would have to win because the story line and the challenge is much better where as halo 2 had to extend on halo 1 so not as many challenges could be made. the graphics on halo 2 is much better though because it was made at a later date when graphics had improved just like shrek - shrek 2.
  3. Yeah i would use a thermaltake ( http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/) some of them can be a bit "horrible" but they all work realy well. they can be expensive though deppending on the store.
  4. YEah you can get programs to run in computability with older versions of windows be going to its properties - compatibility. it works for me anyway
  5. Yeah i have both browsers insteled. its not ideal i now but they take up very little space and if you setup firefox properly it eill become the defult. so i would realy appreciate any help
  6. Google is the best but it doesnt always have what you want so sometimes i have to go to yahoo which i try to avoide
  7. As qwijibow said if you cant start it easily then GRUB is the way to go. when i tried it i dual booted windows and linux so i dont now if windows instals a boot manager.
  8. Yeah i use Smart ftp. iv never realy tried Ws_Ftp because i found smart ftp realy good and reliable from the word go.
  9. Fire fox is deffinatly better its user interface with the tabs and all is so good. i only have iexplorer because i cant view some things in firefox. to me thats its only down side.
  10. yeah im with you tutorials would help especialy in forums because you can see how more than one person does it
  11. Yeah projectors are good but atr school we use a program in the computer labs called netop school this allows the teacher to:control any pc project there screen or a students screen to all or selected studentslock copmputersand monitor all computerswe also use projectors in the science lab
  12. if you were running an older version of windeows and now home this may be the problem because xp uses mopre ram. if you want to upgrade the hard drive i would get a hartddisk for a desk top and get a caase for it of ebay. i did it and for a stage there i had linux running of it but i have a desktop so im not sure how fast the hard disk would be.
  13. If you are using dreamweaver mx 2004 it could be easy.i would put a frame in "right and nested top frame". This would allow the image to go to the top right corner. the frames can also be alterd at will. if you wanted to have that image there all the time you could set all links to open in the main frame nd only have what would be there in there.
  14. You can also defrag the hard disk to try to free up a bit of wasted space. this can also help with the performance(not always)
  15. yeah spacewaste is right accouts are always added as admin, this can be changed from the main account by going to the control panel then user accounts ( if it opens in the current account press home) then select the account and click account type theres 2 administrator and limited (best to have minimal administrators.
