i dont know the architecture of G4 processors but maybe you can get one that supports all the features included in the minimac , but 500$ you can get better things for that price

i use my computer a lot so i bought a laptop and a dual i like laptop because i move a lot in my house but if you like perfomance you can get a desktop since processors are available in both hardwards if you want perfomance you can have a dual on a desktop but not in a laptop
