i tried it. it is free which is a good thing.it was fun sometimes but the graphics where too simple and there was a lot of lag sometimes.at least it can have a lot of players in one game

it sounds like a good game. the graphics look decent and the races seemed fast paced

i have this game but i dont really play it anymoreit was definitely a lot of fun. it was cool how you could have huge battles and large maps with infantry, tanks, and planes. you could even drive huge ships.the road to rome expansion added some decent maps but i didnt think it was outstanding or anything

i have the game. it is very difficult. its a pretty good combat simulation. you can either play as a soldier or drive tanks, jeeps, helicopters and planes.the game gets most difficult when you have to control a squad because the command menus arent layed out that well. the environments are huge though.

Far cry is a really good game. One of the best games of 2004. the graphics are great and have advanced features like pixel shading. the ai is really good and has some pretty advanced squad ai for example the enemy will try to flank you and throw granades at you.the story is kind of corny, but the levels are great.

this isnt really a question about how to use it but more about programming in general.so c++ is a programming language that makes programs? but what created c++? and what created that program?how many steps are there until you reach binary? and what created binary?

i have an lcd monitor. i think it has a response time of about 25 ms. this creates a problem with games because of the ghosting effects. the games are playable but it makes it hard to see some of the details.anyway, what are the fastest response times you can buy on an lcd monitor?also is having a high contrast ratio good or bad? what is a minumum or maximum to look for?

if you cant download the maps from a server you can try downloaded thing from a website and then putting them in the appropriate foldercss is a pretty fun game. there are definitely other options though for online first person shooters. the graphics are pretty goon and some of the maps are nice. the gameplay feels a little dated though and there is no lean function

battlefield 1942 was a lot of fun but its pretty old now.my favorite map was probably el aleman or guadalcanal. el aleman had a good amount of tanks and open spaces for air battles. guadalcanal also had a good combination of land air and sea vehicles. it was pretty hard to hold and capture bases in that map.

I think the original red alert and generals are the two best games from the series. Red alert was similar to the first command and conquer, but was even more fast paces with huge battles. The tank rush was pretty powerful in that game.Generals maintains the similar military theme, but it feels a little more like starcraft. For example you can upgrade units strength and each unit is more valuable than in red alert.

Both version are good but the pc version definitely has its advantages. The graphics are much better on the pc if you have decent computer. For example the pc can have higher resolutions.The mouse and keyboard is also much more accurate, as it for most first person shooters.

this is a great world war 2 first person shooter for the pc. It came out a while before call of duty. However, the single player is much longer than call of duty. The ai is not anything particuarly amazing, but it is pretty good. For example, the enemies will duck behind upstacles, shoot around corners, and run from granades. The graphics arent spectacular anymore but they are still quiet detailed. It has decent multiplayer too. Overall its a great game.

Yes itis a great strategy game. Its amazing how they combined the campaign map with real time battles. In the campaign map you move armies around and attack other factions. You can also set things like tax rate and decide what buildings to create in the provinces.The best part about this game is the real time battles. They are huge with thousands of detailed units fighting at once. Based on where the armies are on the campaign map determines where they will appear on the strategy map.

Stalker and Fear both seem like they could be great games. Stalker supposedly has huge environments. Fear seems like it will have an interesting story and great graphics.Battlefield 2 also looks like its going to be a great game. It will be similar to battlefield 1942 that allows people to have huge battles with a lot of vehicles.

The original half life was a very good game. In many aspects it had a lot of innovative features. For example, it was probably the first, first person shooter to use a heavy amount of scripted events in the game. This allowed the story to be told from the first person perspective instead of through cutsenes. Far Cry is also a great first person shooter. It has some pretty impressive squad technology and some good gameplay.

what are some important things to look for when buying ram for a computer?there are a lot of things listed. for example, what is latency? why is having low latency good on ram? what is a good amount to look for?also, what is a decent amount of bandwidth to have? can you reccomend some good brands?

ati and nvidia both have a wide variety of models. also, every so often they come out with a completely new generationg of cards, which often have new features.when buying a card, the more expensive ones may not only be faster, but have important features which may make the game look better.both companies make good cards (in the current generation at least). buying low end cards may allow the game to run, but not with a lot of details. the most expensive cards are very good, but cost a lot. buying the middle priced cards can be good because they usually have a good combination of speed and features, at a decent price.

i dont have a favorite but garrys mod is very fun, and you can do a lot of neat things with it.basically, to make things move, you have to put thrusters on them. the keypad thrusters are good because you can assign different numbers to different thrusters allowing you to control the direction of an object.
