  1. I would go with Pentium 4 or any others following suite. My dad's pc runs on AMD and hes selling for that reason. He hates it. My laptop is running on a P4 and is flawless (besides the millions of spyware that it attracts!!!)...I would go with P4. However, a lot of people think differently...
  2. I use warez (not really a program), Kazaa, WinMX, Kazaa Lite, E-Mule, BearShare, LimeWare, etc. I would LOVE to replace all those for Bittorrent, but sadly, I don't know how to use it, nor has anyone bothered to help me.
  3. I learned HTML in summer school a couple years ago. I was really interested in web design and decided to take a course. Being myself, I went and bought Frontpage after that. I haven't touched HTML since. I know what most of you would say, "Frontpage is for n00bs!" and "Only experianced programers use HTML and Notepad." Well, heres what I have to say, Frontpage is easier, better, more consumer friendly, and if you really desire the HTML code, you still have a tab to work with HTML. I still use a little HTML for sites like MySpace and designing OTHER PEOPLES online blogs and what not...

    Bittorrent!

I've tried using Bit Torrent for some of my movies I wanted to host because someone I knew had done it. I tried, and tried, but I just don't get it. It's too complicated for me. I'm not like some obbsessive computer guy that just sits there and figures things out. If anyone has a VERY SIMPLE way of explaining how to host on Bit Torrent, please tell me. Thanks
  5. My suggestion is to revover your computer. Yes, all of it. Start from scratch. If you still have the recovery discs. It's like getting a new computer except that the hardware isn't. I do it to my computer monthly, I just get a lot of spam and spyware, and viruses into my computer that even the virus scans and Ad Aware can't clean up. It's the best solution to any problem (with the exception of losing all youir files if you didnt save them onto a disc or another computer!!!)
  6. Well, it depends on what you want to do. For just Photo renders, pictures etc. I would use Photoshop; for actual graphics designing, I would use Maya.
  7. I'm not even sure which Linux I used, that may be a reason the reason why I don't like it. But I'm also certain that not all Windows was created for gaming, entertainment, etc. Look at Windows XP Proffesional for example. And all the programs they have to offer for buisness.
  8. Does anyone listen to hardcore, nu metal, indie, etc? I'm talking about bands like Remembering Never, Bleeding Through, Atreyu, Slipknot, Eleventeen, etc? I just got into this stuff about 3 years ago and I'm loving it. I realized how tasteless rap is (no offense). ANy of you guys heard of these bands?Download this Song Bleeding Through - On Wings of LeadRemembering Never - Alison's Song
  9. What program do you use to make websites? I used to use notepad and HTML unitl I bought Frontpage and I don't know why more people use Notepad. They say it is more flexible when you can do the same thing with Frontpage AND MORE. Frontpage has a Notepad sort of window also so you can choose to do HTML code or work like how you work other MS softwares. I personally love Frontpage. I wish I could get the 2003 edition though...
  10. I have both Flash and Photoshop and I wanted to work with more proffesional tools (even if they are $6000), does anyone use Maya? I have a trial verson from their website itself http://www.autodesk.com/products/alias-products/overview Thanks. ---------------------- Moved post here since it's not a tutorial, :)Nils
  11. I personally like Windows XP, and I get a lot of complimentery softwares from my dad who is associated with Microsoft. It's pretty sweet. I've tried Linux before and don't like it to much but it beats Apple's operating system. What do you think?
