I would appreciate if ANYONE could tell me if buying an ngage is or is not a good buy..Thx

yeh i cant wait till this game comes out to the uk! there are so much games and consoles coming out too! i just heard that resident evil 4 was going to be out for the playstation 2 aswell! i only thought it was only exclusive for the gamecube. it looks so detailed so maybe even scarier!

BUT IS THE GAME FOR THE PC ??!!

Well basically, the idea behind this is that the player would feel like its not just a preconstructed world that he/she is playing in, But one that they have a hand in building and it's outcome. Sci-Fi game, with a squad based element, ill explain more below.

 

Backstory

Basically the setting is in the future a few milennia on Earth, the year 4051 A.P. (Age of Peace) .  For the last 900 years, the people of Earth have experienced global unity.  There hasn't been a war or major violent conflict amogn humans in over a millenia, though the develoment of inter-stellar travel ahs led to more than a few with other planets.  All of humanity has merged into one co-existing community.  Poverty, crime, and most sickness has ended.  Earth had become a Utopia.  But as they say, "All good things must come to an end....."

 

Fifty years ago, contact with a new planet was made.  People everywhere were excited with the contact, but things went bad.  In a sign of good faith, the aliens traded with us technology that allowed us to manipulate genes.  While some people embraced the technology, others shunend it, claiming it was playing God. Earth was divided.  Now, 50 years later, the war is still raging.  Because of the long period of peace, both sides were so evenly matched that niether side is capable of winning the war.  The only way for either side to gain the upperhand is to hire mercenaries, a by product of the 50 years of fighting.  The civil war has spread to several other Human inhabited worlds like mars and the moons of Saturn.

 

Enter the Player

You are a mercenary.  Choose which side you fight for, or play both to gain wealth.  Buy genetic enhancements to become more powerful.  Your actions will decide the war. Choose wisely.

 

Some missions will pit players against players, depending on which side they work for.

 

In order to complete missions, players must band together and form a mercenary band.  Mercenary bands can contsruct their own towns and run a local economy.

 

Features

-Permanent landscape damage: whatever you do will stay there.

-Triumph or fail: either side can lose the war on any one planet.

-join in huge open battles with thousands of other people all at once.

Yahoo just doesen't want to work anymore they want to "Steal" technology and not develope it .. and about

lol...The only reason yahoo doesn't go up against msn for the nudge feature is because as moonwitch said...."Money is a determining factor in court" or something like that...

 

Msn has more money...Espicialy since they have merged with sympatico, and have freaking microsoft to back them up!

 

There's no way yahoo would go up against that.

 

As to the current Xfire situation...If xfire stole any technologie from yahoo at all it's probably nothing big...Just some of the code for the chat system.

 

But I'm pretty sure they haven't stolen anything...And that yahoo just wants to own Xfire.  Although I really don't see a point to yahoo using xfire considering it's not yahoos style, and they would need to do some renovating to even get the service working for them (buy more servers)

 

I think yahoos just bored and see's ez pickings for money.

Yahoo doesen't take up mns because .. yahoo just has better technology...let's say that if not for microsoft msn would be kinda ... unpopular and pour... for certain yahoo is richer than msn... so if msn would break off microsoft yahoo would "eat" them.

Vice City is GTA 3 "extended" it has a few new stuff eg. the helicopter, the cool new boats ... the scooters, motocicles.. etc.Cool features make a cool game this is how i think ....I can't wait till SanA comes to the pc's ... i heard it is a very cool and nice game.. with original features and much more....

I agree with OpaQue's statement that " Google adsense, A fraud" when i first saw adsense i thought it was a cool reliable program (it's by Google).The first problems arised the first day ....well they were suposed to answer my request in a few days... and i waited for 2 weeks and then i resubmited my request.. after 5 more days i got the "in a few days approval".. installed theyr Adsense on my site and... waited ... After a few days i wanted to see the results ... they sayed i had 12 clicks on my Ads... lol i told all my friends ..that are more than 12 to click some ads and they did... but ..well Google Adsense is a rippoff to make google more popular virtually for free.DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS S**T try the 1|2|3 sites given by OpaQue in the msg above...2 bad google adsense could have been something good...

SOrry can't finde the edit button so you should actually use the "Fast user swiching" in in control pannel ==> user accounts==> change the way users log on aswell as the Classic Windows login ... This time it is really all

Ok so if you want the windows 2000 (NT "dialog box" wich is "Windows security" box infact) you need to deactivate "USe welcome screen" (in control pannel ==> user accounts==> change the way users log on) then you are done the next time u'll login you will have a win 2000 like login box.. enter your user and pasword , and enter win. In win you can now press ctr+alt+del==>k (lock computer press k or "Lock Computer" after ctr+alt+del)That's all Enj0y!

I own an desktop aswell as a laptop .... I use the desktop mainly for games movies and games... and programing .. because this kind of aplications take more procesor power .... and the laptop for internet surfing and the ocasional inbed movies :)I really can't say i would miss one or the other.I'm quite happy with my 2 pcs with versatility(laptop) and performance(desktop).I hope everyone could afford a pc "suit" of 1 desktop and 1 laptop.. this would ideal:D P3@cE

Personally i use IDM (short for Internet Download MAnager) it has multiple functions as Download resume , Download que, download schedueler, 200% accelerator .. and a few other functions ... and !! it has no spyware .. SInce I started using it i had no problems though i still haven't managed to integrate into firefox mozilla... dunno why ..just a funcky error.. So i strongly recomend IDM !!Use it

XFire is a gaming instant messenger, used mainly for the purpose of seeing what games your friends are playing, and joining them in the exact server witout ever opening the game or going to a server browser.  I'm not going to describe it in detail, but you can read more on the site.

 

I personally don't use it much anymore (I'm not a fan of instant messengers, no matter how useful they are) but I think the lawsuit by Yahoo is *BLEEP*.  XFire didn't copy or use any of their stuff...I agree that Yahoo probably just wants the Xfire technology

Yahoo! is getting greedy and the result of theyr greed is the X-Fire lawsuit that would have no legal stand in other countryes but.. in america... yahoo could actually win an idiotic and illegal lawsuit ...

You could try Google Adsense aswell if you want a google search engine on your site... so you can have a personalised full working google search engine only for you and your site You can even make money with adsense by putting up small "Ad boxes" on your site and relying on your visitors on clicking them and making u money $$$ ..Hope i helped you ... i know you just wanted to make ur site visible to the google "spider" bots but you can try this ...

+the Stargate soundtrack

+and site credits

The only problem is that i really don't have any ideea about flash , so i kindly request some help.. even a tutorial

I am currently trying to get some 3d animation going for some projects at my work.  Renderman is what pixar uses huh?  Any idea who makes that?? Or where to get it?  Why do you have to have a team?  Is that actually a licensing requirement??  If anyone has more information on this topic - it would be great to hear about.  I would expect that there are at least some similarities to other more archaic 3d programs so that some experienced with other programs might make an easier transition to Renderman.

Yeah, I think 3ds Max and Maya would be the best. The ones Pixar use might be Machintosh ones that they had someone compiled especially for them. I don't know.

It would make sense ,if ur a big company like Pixar, you would develope your own soft or at least order it .. so you would be the only one with the resources to make this hq movies. SO i dout you will be able to finde and get the SAME soft that pixar uses.. only.. if you have any Pixar related "connections" you can "buy" the soft..

When i first played Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic 1 I just loved it. Because it was so fun to play collect stuff and kill others. So I cant wait for KOTOR 2 to come because its the 2nd part of the game and they promised that it will ahve a lot more stuff on it

Man the game is out !! i have it on my desk as i speak .. haven't tryed it so far.. don't have enough HDD space so i'll try the game tomorow ... haven't play KOTOR 1 .. just didn't finde it ... so wish me luck as i del much stuff so i can install KOTOR 2

As of the SW game univerce i have only good words n' congrats.. have played 5 or more star wars games each one brought an unique experience... and much FUN ...

Count me in 2 .... i haven't got my hands on Sims 2 so far... i'm planing to do so soon.. Anyway in the Sims 1 (dunno wich one, this is the most i have advanced in sims) i got my kid in military school i had another little boy ... social service took him away and i grew old (in the game ... but if i think i even did so in real life).So encourage me 2 buy Sims2 ... go ahead..And i made some evil deeds in sims aswell .... when the social serv came i "boxed" in the woman who came .. and the baby and they dyed ...

Ohh you had to start this topic ... so Gothic 2 has benn the game that ate my days for aproximativly 2 months.. there is no part of the game i haven't exploated.... i loved this game ...Grate storyline.. grate gameplay ...and of course graphics... good game ...Has Gothic 3 been anounced... can't wait ...!! yupppy

THe only complain i have is about the atemporality , The latest game takes place in the begining of the SW univers, and the earlyest is the last .. pretty tangeld up !!Except that the games r great i STRONGLY recomend this games to all the fans of the SW universe!!

I'am play, it's not cool.Not good engine... not fast, bad ability. graphic fine but not beautiful, in DOOM 3 better . plot is awful. I think that is one of the bads games of the year.

MAn please do not diss the FArCry game this way.. that gase is Very GOod ... just think of the publishing and producing teams(not wery well known) and look at the game .. it's just COOL i had much fun with it . I mean FUN not .. SCARY *BLEEP* Action (eg. Doom 3) as about the loading and performance of the game.. just fulfill the Minimum Req. and u will have no problem. I'm quite satisfied with this game THUMBS UP!!
