  1. Well, as far as I know, it's really quite simple. I've done it on my computer several times. Forgive me if I'm misunderstanding your situation, but I don't believe you need and programs. Simply create a boot disk.. and use it start up. Then when you get to the prompt, enter " FDisk ". This will give you a number of options.. One of them being an option to create a partition. There are even a few different types of partitions it will help you create. I'm not entirely sure of the functions of them. You can create a primary dos partition, or logical partition.. whatever that is... I don't know, give it a shot. I hope that I helped a little. Ryan
