i don't know.... i prefer windows OS over linux (not just desktop).....inherent multiuser platoform is not always technically virus free.... right now it is because most crackers make virsuses for windows.. if all this happens, linux viruses will bloom!

your right dude.. its a rumour.. trust me it won't happen.infact gmail is planning to move out of the beta phase soon because the gmail project has been highly successful... thats why they increased the number of invities per account to 50.

okay i opened an account in paypal.. but for some reason they are not accepting my visa electron debit card..i contacted them also.. they replied almost a week later saying that that card cannot be added and i should contact my card issuer bank for more info...ok i don't want to go through all the trouble of complaining to the bank and all... as it is, it is an indian public sector bank and i will have a hard time with them..what i want to know is that can i still accept payments with this account? if so, i can use that money for shopping online with that paypal account... i have this doubt as my paypal account page has the link "Add card" under the title Activate account..please reply.munimNote: sorry this topic doesn't somehow fit under "what is.." but i couldn't find another place to put it and i need a reply urgently. thanks.

gmail doesn't charge for pop.. just go to Settings and then Forwarding and POP tab... and hey even if they decide to charge for pop... there are several ways around it... do u know that software like yahoopops make a normal yahoo account function as a pop account for free.... i have already heard a couple of software in sourceforge.net getting developed for gmail......but as far as i know and using all my 10 years experience on the internet and computers;-) , i can say that google WON'T charge for pop.but lets wait and see.

yday i had opened a google adwords account and created some keywords and an ad. but i didn't deposit any money..But guess what, my site's unique visitors increased from 5 per day to 170!! and that too for absolutely free... i didn't deposit any money.. i didn't even enter any credit card details or any payment details.I had also opened an account in kanoodle and i got free $25 on kanoodle from some website. i created my ad and that too got activated yday.Advice for guys with new websites and few visitors...
