Firefox is much, much better than Internet Explorer. For yeard I'd been using a slow brower that was boring, full of security holes, and had very little functionality. Then, about half a year ago, I downloaded Firefox and instantly noticed the difference. Not only that, but Firefox supports plugins (called 'extensions'), of which there are many. Maybe there are Internet Explorer plugins, but either they are not easily found or there are few of them -- not that plugins are a big part of why I use Firefox. They're just an added bonus.

deviantART of course Paint Shop Pro Brushes: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ That's generally true with most new software. I suspect that the more a program can do, the longer it takes to load. Remember, Corel (maker of Painter) bought Jasc (maker of PSP), so it's possibly Corel added a lot of new features to PSP9.

mac or windows? which do u think is better

Fix it? How do you fix something if it's not broken? I haven't spent my time fixing my computer; I've spent my time protecting my computer, and thus far it has worked. It appears you think I installed those programs because I've been having problems, which is simply not the case. -

Oh yes... I forgot about the two button Mac mouse.Anyway, I already have Norton, Spybot, and Adaware, as well Spyware Blaster and Spy Sweeper. I'm no dummy when it comes to Internet security....You seem to be under the impression that there is something wrong with my computer. There is not. My experience with Windows XP (SP2) has been rarely, if ever, buggy. -

I prefer Windows over Mac. Not only does Windows support so much, but if you get the right programs you can secure your computer...ahem...Zone Alarm, anyone? (Yeah, that's not the only program I use to secure my computer, but it's a necessary addition to any computer. Also, use Mozilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer.) Not only that, but at my high school I use a Mac with a a one-button mouse, and I instantly hat it. I am aware that Macs can have two-button mice, but as far as I know there is no options window that comes up when you right click like you can in Windows. As far as speed...there are file manager/shell replacements for Windows. For instance, if you have Windows XP I recommend using ExplorerXP instead of Windows Explorer as your file manager. As far as shells, there are many free downloads available (Blackbox, Litestep, etc.). -
Bush has systematically handed America to the big corporations (especially the environment -- maybe one day he'll actually visit it -- and taxes -- he'll tout that Kerry wanted to raise taxes on small businesses when under his definition of a small business individuals who might not have even been hiring would've been counted as small business). His failure in Iraq is monumental as well as his ability to go after the countries that really possess WMD and support terrorists.

In February 2005 ArenaNet will ship its Co-Operative Role Playing Game (CORPG) Guild Wars, the first fee free online RPG to be released by a major publisher (https://www.guildwars.com/en/). I'm pretty excited about this game. I participated in the Alpha during E3 in May (Electronic Entertainment Expo), and it was great then. I also took part in the World Preview Event in October, and I plan on taking part in the Beta Event on January 7. So far I have had a great time. What does everybody else think?

It certainly has a nice layout. It's crisp and clean, and the menu pop-up animations are excellent. The animation speed is also perfect; however, you may want to put some real text in that box in the bottom left. Also, I'm not really fond of your choice of music. It gets a bit annoying after a while.

Um... For the most part, Pink Floyd songs AREN'T about drugs. As an avid listener of Pink Floyd, I can tell you that very few PF songs are about drugs. Yes, "Comfortably Numb" is partially about drugs. You have to take it in context. You see, "Comfortably Numb" is a song from PF's rock opera The Wall, released in 1979. The Wall deals with the troubles of life and is about the fictional rock star Pink Floyd who builds a wall around himself (not literally) so he doesn't have to deal with life's troubles. Eventually he resorts to drugs to keep himself sane, but during "Comfortably Numb" a doctor gets Pink ready for a show, and gives him drugs to keep him calm OR gives him medication to reverse the effect of any drugs Pink had been taking. It's not clear which is the case.

I'm honestly surprised no one has mentioned deviantART (http://www.deviantart.com/). dA is possibly the largest directory of artists on the Internet. Because it's an artists' directory, you will find tutorials -- not just for PSP, but for PS, Dreamweaver, Blender, 3DS -- all sorts of image programs. I guarantee that you will find thousands if not tens of thousands of tutorials. dA is where you find the tutorials the instruction manuals don't cover. Here is where the PSP tutorials are: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Hover over each image for an ALT description.

I've been learning HTML for over 5 years now. It's a constant learning process for me, because I use it in spurts and for periods of time I don't need to know it. Anyway, I've learnt HTML from various websites and classes. I also have a copy of Microsoft FrontPage 2000, which is a big part of my learning. Basically, when I want to try new things I look up tags from HTML sites and try them in FrontPage. Also, I once took a course on using Macromedia Dreamweaver, but I admit I like FrontPage better than Dreamweaver. I found that for me FrontPage utilizes HTML to form what you command it to. Dreamweaver manipulates HTML to get what you want.
