I wonder if I will stay here for long again, the forum is so incredibly slow for me these days (I'm from the Netherlands). It takes several minutes just to fully load the "fast reply" button so I can type this .

Problems With Motherboard - Can Anyone Help?
jipman replied to Ally1405241517's topic in Hardware Workshop
Nope, if it says something about FSB to high or whatever it probably has some circuits nuked up or something.Anyway, if you want to get a lan server, you'd better not put a prescott in them, since those things get waaaay hot and you need better(expensive) cooling. Get an AMD duron or something, and a cheap motherboard. -
I think it's because of these things in movies that most 13 year olds are scavenging the internet on tutorials how to become a 1337x0r h@x0r

Need Help With DDV Ripping/Backup. Any Good Software?
jipman replied to Jeigh1405241495's topic in Software
DVDShrink, it also 'fixes' the encryption, although it takes a bit a time for it to process stuff. -
Simply said, it's a firewall thing, so why worry about it? If someone uses a adblocker they should be aware that it can lead to problems. If you just tell 'm on your site that it might cause problems with that firewall it should be ok not?

What was printed? It sounds just like a normal hardware death to me, maybe the cooler died and took the motherboard with it or something. ps. If you don't turn off your pc, everything will be fine huh -
Dating Sims? If this is wrong subforum, please move
jipman replied to Vicious_AD's topic in Computer Gaming
Hm... just realised that everyone has their own preferences, I guess that goes for games too. However I'm still wondering why Japanese are so fan of these games, at least, that is what I suspect since about every game is japan-made of some sort. Guess it has something to do with the culture, Americans are on the pr0n, Japanese on the datingsims -

What Is The Easiest Way Transferring Data?
jipman replied to ChaosDealer73's topic in Hardware Workshop
@jamesAnyway, if you have a new computer you don't want to put back a backed up version of your old puter.Windows should automatically adjust itself to new or different hardware, that's not the case, but it leaves the question wheter you want a fresh computer have such a already used windows installation. What i'd do is transplant the drive in the new pc temporarily and just copy everything away.anyway, still no reply from the topic starter, locking this one up. -
Americans are just plain dumb in these kind of cases, all they are trying to do is making money out of everything they can think of. Even if it means they are making complete fools out of themselves.Any normal human would adjust the volume of their mp3-players to a normal volume. It reminds me of some (american?) people sueing mcdonalds because they burned their bloody mouth on a apple pie that was too hot.ps. I'm not trying to bash americans here, it's just that they come up with so many silly things these days. (War on iraq, george bush, software patents, sueing for silly things).
