  1. Spyware BlasterLavasoft's Ad-aware ProSpybot: Search and DestroyThose trio make up my adware/spyware defense. And together, they're working perfectly! I'm always assured that i'm spyware free as long as I update my spyware definitions. For pop-ups, my Internet Explorer 6(with MSN toolbar activated[eliminates ALL popups by default] and the pop-up blocker integrated because of SP2 upgrade) does not allow any pop-up. Works better than firefox in terms of termination pop-ups, I still get pop-ups when I use firefox(even with its anti pop-up feature). I use them both though, they both have their own weaknesses and strengths. :)

  2. I've used Panda Internet Security, McAfee Virus Scan, Kaspersky Anti-Virus, Norton Anti-Virus and Trend Micro Internet Security. So far so good, the best for me is Trend Micro Internet Security(of course I prefer the most updated version and you should be registered for the automatic updates). It updates just about uhhh(their virus definitions), every 4 hours, that's quality service for you and it has a built in mail anti-spam feature, trojan scanner/cleaner, security check(checks your windows for vulnerabilities) and a good personal firewall. The popup warning(if you have firewall vulnerabilities) which shows every 15 seconds or so can be quite annoying but this software definitely keeps my PC virus free! :)

  3. it just takes a while. how long ago did you do it?

it takes upto a day to get into effect.

but if you're lucky, you'll be able to use it after a few hours.

Urgh! About 5 days ago, I removed it a while ago since it was pretty much useless that's why I requested here to change my host address to pinoybloggerforum.info, at least it may save me some hassle even without the parked and add-on domains feature(but it would be great having the add-on domains)...

  4. The add-on stopper of Windows SP 2 IE Component, MSN toolbar and Firefox's pop-up management. Got rid of unwanted popups(at least most of them, about 96% less, but hey, it's quite an improvement). :P People figure out how write new scripts to execute popup ads better that some even ignore Firefox's anti-popup feature.
