Linux is good, I like it very much and as you say it very user friendly. It's stable and safe.For troop007-admin : You can burn ISO files simply with Nero. You just have to select where your image is and then click burn. Then you have your cd.

I'm using IE 6, and I find it good enough for what I do on the internet. Of course Mozilla is good to, and I know a lot of people that use Mozilaa and me to sometimes. But for normal people, that goes not to much on the internet, I think it would be stupid to say them you have to choose a program ! IE is just basic and for the most usual people this is enough, and after all like mastercomputers say it's already integrated in windows.

I'm using IPB to, and Yauws's portal. I just like the fact that you can easy upgrade your site with another skin almost fully automatic. There are more options to I think with IPB.

Firt you have tyo know HTML before you begin with PHP. It's the same basic. Witout HTML, you will never be able to create a skin for exemple. Or CSS.

I'm using Frontpage 2003 for my webpages, and CorelDraw to edit and make my pictures. Frontpage is a good program to start with web designing. If you can't control HTML basics don't start with things like PHP (open source things). Many people use Photo Shop to edit or create their images, but I don't like Photo Shop, and what people forget is that Photo Shop is made first and for all to edit photo's not headers and things like that.

With the new generation of AMD processors, when you don't use much of the system, the processors switch to a lower coefficient number. So when you use your CPU much, it remains at the his normal speed and voltage. When you have a lower CPU usage, he switches for example to 800Mhz instaed of 2000Mhz. That reduce the consuming, and it increase the life of the processor. Of course you need to by a new CPU to do that this way. Yes, that's why I already use WLAN G technology, it's just like B technology but you can go up to 54MB/s and the security is better. And yes wirelles network are expensive if you compore to a classic network.

I think it is the same, of course you don't need to set your login and password manually, and you don't need any other program. It's maybe a little bit faster. i always use WS-FTP-Pro, I've tested many FTP programs and I stau with WS_FTP, because it's easy to use, and I like the little sounds that tell you that the uploading is done or ... .

Personnaly, I prefere ait and see, because many people are not happy. I would like to see your opinion. Give your experience...about SP2.

I use IPB, for my websites, and it's free to. The only thing you have to do is leave the copyright.PHP is good, it's easy, etc. but what some people don't understand with IPB for example is that it's not because they have installed a IPB that the can create a webpage. those peolple forget that the basic language of PHP is HTML. You have to know HTML before you begin with PHP.

Wireless network are very interesting, because you don't have a cable between your computer and an other computer/gateway/router.Have a wireless network is good I think if you don't want to see or put a cable trought the wall. It is even more intersting for laptop's to have for exemple internet in the garden. Wat can be better than read your emails in your garden in a nice sun.The wireless technology is OK, it works good. And it can go far enough.The only problem is that you have to use a good key (wep) so other people can not use your internet or even worse acces your pc (documents,...) So if you install a wireless network be sure that you have put a good wep key.

Overcloking, is I think in some cases interesting but in other cases not. Overcloking can be dangerous for your machine (for your components). And then you have to see if overcloking does affect the stability of the computer. Overcloking can not give a lot of speed more. Usually overcloking is sometimes Mhz by Mhz.So before overcloking your CPu or Video card, you have to:- have some knowledge about computers- test the stabitlity of your system before and after overcloking- you have to check the temperature of your CPU- you have to see that the other components (ram, PCI,...) can support itSo I think that in many cases overcloking is not interesting.And the best processors to overclok are the Intel Celeron. They are cheap and are not difficult to overclok, with the right motherboard of course.

My question is, does your free plan support SMTP, because I now have to change of provider, because my ex-provider does not support that anymore. I really need SMTP, because must send e-mails to all my members at the same time (at once).And my second question is, is it alright to have a french site?

You can delete the files in WINDOWS/Temp to. And a good thing to make your pc faster at the startup is to have a light destop, with few icones. That can make your computer faster at the startup.

I find that SP2 is not good. The security of SP2 is to strong, and hackers can easy, pass by the protection. SP2 makes compatibility problems with some applications.I prefere waiting.
