  1. hmm,,,,Usually I don not reply. But as the question is about learning C++, I can't help talking about it.Well go for any 32-bit C compilers. If you are interested go for GNU COMPILER COLLECTION gcc. It works just great for linux. In windows go for BloodShed C++. Visit http://www.freeprogrammingresources.com/ is a good place to begin. If you start with this you will find 10000000000 of pages from them to help you.Happy programming!!!
  2. See the purpose is to make a search engine like google.com or ask.com which searches the contents in a web server. Say In LAN you are maintaining a site for student management. This is your last caution note. If you are having difficulties, when you post to your left you will see BB Code Help link. Use it.
  7. dear,One thing that I would like to say that if you need a small linux package then form any linux distribution you can make it though it is a little time consuming for the first time but if you have done once then it's simple.Just install that packages that are required to you if you need any GUI then go for GNOME. A very small linux will be containing the following 1. the kernal (better if u use latest)2. Supports Networking (apache,sendmail,smb,nfs...etc)3. a gui environment like GNOME (i think the simple)4. well installed web browser (Mozilla firefox is just fine)5. If you are interested in multimedia it's your choice6. of course if u need use openoffice.org and PDF toolsalternative Yes working on LFS (linux from sctach) is a good decision if you are adventurous.another option Do you know XANDROS if not try it...it's best for very beginnersplease be in touch if u have querries.thanksacumentech
  8. hmm...good work but....I hate one thing in this that it makes the whole system slower....
  9. hmm...have you used the site submission of google. Try searching add url or site submission in google.thanks
  10. dear friends, thanks for reply......But my aim is to find a software that can perform differentiation and integration.thanks
  11. hmm... a lot of discussion on dreamweaver. it's prety coool.Well from the web programming point of view programmers need a handy tool for writing their code or say scripts. Any simple editor can do this. The speciality of DM 2004 MX or higher is that it uses good syntax high lighting. F12 is the short cut for opening it in browser and many more. Mainly we can embed the flash, fireworks objects etc. that's all....but I use it for writing PHP and JavaScript only. regards
  12. dear amhso,As said I have only dial up 56kbps net connection. In my hostel we have got a lan of 5 computers and mine is connected to net plz help me connecting to internet for all computersthanksacumentech
  13. dear friends,A coin has two sides.Well for designing static pages FrontPage Xp is not a bad editor. There are a lot of things that it can do, but dreamweaver can't. for e.g. wroking with frames. Similarly the other side is also true. One should keep in mind that DREAMWEAVER IS dedicated for making websites. It's capability goes to top when the question of PHP, ASP, JSP, CSS come. It's really a good one from Macromedia.and frontpage is shipped with office XP whose purpose is different. But I give 8 out of 10 to dreamweaver.and 4.5 out of 10 to frontagethanks
  14. well have you checked O'relly Perl Book Self....I hope it's there acumentech Notice from BuffaloHELP: Edited as reported. Both of you, could you stop writing your name in your posts? We can all see who wrote it. Furthermore, that's what SIGNATURE setting is for. Please use it. Thanks.
  15. hmm.../.. not a bad idea. But how about making a linux server. Use operating system as Rat hat.Apache as server.PHP/Python or Perl as server script.MySQL as Database.Configure SMB and nfs for networking.Use SQUID as proxy server.what more all are free so get set and go...happy timeacumentech
