  1. A cheap AND decent 256MB card? I think you'll have to wait another year to find one, but you could try http://www.newegg.com/. They've got some good deals computer hardware. But if you can manage it, the 256MB Nvidia 6600GT is a very good graphics card for $199. Depending on the other specs of your computer, you'll be able to run most new games at it's highest settings or close to it.
  2. Interesting doesn't cover it; the controller's just flatout weird. Other than chip in the thing that tracks the controller's position, it seems incredibly simplistic. To me, it feels like Nintendo took one step forward and two steps backward with limited number of buttons. I don't know, I'll reserve final judgement until I actually have it in my hands. No doubt the Nintendo diehards will love it though. However there is one glaring question that I'm looking forward to being answered when it's released: is the Revolution's controller (or the Revolution period) too revolutionary for the general market in the upcoming generation?
  3. I used play Guild Wars for like two months straight when it first came out, but after I ran into some hellish quests that required smart groups that knows what they're doing, I gave up. That and it's repetitive. I'm trying to start playing it again because of the new update, but eh....
  4. Amazon.com lists the widescreened, two-disc set of Advent Children as being released on November 29 of this year and their realease dates are usually dead on so I guess I should starting writing to Santa for Advent Children. Here's the link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  5. Fable's alright. I didn't find to be anything special. The graphics were great, the real-time combat was cool, the numerous scars you ended up getting were a nice touch, and being able to marry an NPC (especially an important one) was a new aspect. The plot on the other hand could have been better.
  6. Thanks for the welcomes. To you tell you the truth, I don't have a major yet. I'm just taking the basics right now, and hopefully by the time the next school year starts I'll know what I want to do with the rest of my life. Hopefully.
  7. My absolute favorite RPG would have to be Shadow Hearts: Covenant. Excellent story, realistic, dynamic, and funny, characters, a hands-on kind of combat system, wonderful soundtrack, I dare say it's the best game I have ever played. After that is:2. Final Fantasy X3. Final Fantasy X-24. Jade Empire5. Knights of the Old Republic6. Morrowind7. Neverwinter Nights8. Shadow Hearts9. KOTOR 210. Guild Wars
  8. Hehe...the first response to my first post is by THE admin, always a good sign. Well my main interests lie in music and anime. Music because it's a great form of expression and entertainment, and anime because Japanese cartoons just seem to be a lot more real than most things on TV nowadays. I found out about Xisto from that ever spreading wildfire that is Myspace.com. As for spamming, no need to worry there; I'm much too reserved that.
  9. Edward: That's pretty cool. That's a great way to spice up the look of your name.
  10. Hello everyone, my name is Seraph of Shadows or Seraph for short. I am live in West Texas and am four weeks into being a college freshman. You guys seem to have a nice set up here, and I hope I can be apart of it.
