i used to work for a online search engine...Sorta like google, and Yahoo. http://www.webcrawler.com/ what they used to do is... Webcrawler would use their advertisers! when a realiable name came about for like web hosting (ie Rackspace) someone with a great rep and lots of customers ect...ect....ect. they would take a small hosting accout from each server they host has. what they would do with that server is upload images, log files, and small stuff like that to keep the "Main Servers" limited on storage. It takes LOTS and boat loads of programming but it makes the pages real fast. Basically they search engine and all the other stuff is broken up on a ton of little servers. My Guess is Google or yahoo wouldnt use something like that as much as other people, cause they have money. For Instance Google Has a whole team of servers stacked into a room or warehouse that they draw from. thats a given. Besides Servers now a days if you would buy one outright basically come packed with storage. ive seen upto 80gigs on basic models. you get 10-15 of those your good to go, plain and simple. Yes gmail used what i guess you could call is a revolving door for storage. they start you off at such a size as say 100megs. use it you get more, and so on. its just basically Marketing like everyone else has has been saying. it would be impossible for even google to offer 2million people 2gigs of space, even just for email.

i just bought madden 2006, its basically the same game as 05, Ratings are a lot different. Whole new QB mode is awsome and bad at the same time. They also added a NFL Superstar mode. you can take your Rookie in ea's NCAA footall (05 or 06 cant remember) and import him into Madden 06, and play him in NFL Superstar mode. Get drafted by a team, hire and agent, lots of things to do there.Also added a new "Truck Stick" for your HB. its just your playmaker control WHILE rushing the ball. you basically just put the defender on his butt if the truck stick is hit at the right time. pretty kewl actually. When you go online to play there are always 1500-2500 people online at one time. whereas 05 i seen maybe 100 people online at one time.Overall its a very good game, Runs almost the same as 05, Controls are a little bit different, JUST a little though. also online Rushing is Easier. i remember in 05 when playing online you were just in shotgun pretty much the whole game. But now Formation is everything. your line WILL block for that Play Action play. the blitzers will bite sometimes on that play action play, Some defencive lines however are good JUST like in the NFL and will be harder to fake out on the Play Action plays. But overall each team has its weaknesses and strengths. Really they Do.....

spyware is pointless and stupid i agree. But sometimes spyware you cant help but download. i downloaded something off Microsoft update and ACTAULLY got a boat load of spyware installed on my computer, Everyone offers it, and its hard to NOT download lol. but eitherway spyware does suck.

of everyone can just look at the Web Address and notice its not Ebay, or your Bank's web address...simple as that. But yea this is a problem, ive received emails like that from people looking for my Ebay stuff but thats about it, never anything else.

There are also a lot of cheaters in the game so if there is a way to recocnize cheaters right from the get go that would be great to know lol.

the only time i ever use Dog pile is when im bored searching google for something stupid, then switch my search to dogpile. Personally i dont think its too much of a search engine cause it only searches other peoples indexes which is just pointless, and a waste of time. lol either way Dogpile is better only cause ive never used excite.

ok here is the problem, i am sharing a computer with 4 other people. we all have our own accounts, 2 of them are Admin accounts, so along with one other and myself there are only 2 people who can change passwords on windows accounts.So my question is... Is there anyway that i can get it so the passwords cannot be changed by anyone other than the user. or a program that makes certian folders, and settings are password protected so only i can use them? anyway thank you in advance and please help me im desperate!

I work for a nextel authorized service center and the phone you want ALLL depends on what type of business your in, and what you plan on using it for. Rugged and the phone WILL take a beating then you definatly want the i325, or basically the same phone in a flip version the i530. i prefer the i530 personally, i sold 13 of those babies to some fireman and 2 of them didnt believe that the i530 is as durable as they come, so i told them if you can break it by just tossing it against a wall i will buy you any phone you want. So they did and nothing happened other than a scatch on the battery cover door. Now if its style you want i would have to say the i760. simply the best phone around! I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY CAMERA PHONE EVER!!! they are garbage i fix them everyday and watch people get screwed all the time. so please do NOT get a camera phone if you can help it. Emulators are illegal. they are basically PC versions of your PS2,Gamecube, Xbox, ect... they allow you to play ps2,gamecube, ect... games on your PC.

ok i love madden games, and ive been playing them very steady since 1994. So i went shopping yesterday at wal-mart, and i found Madden 2005 for the PC, It was only 19.99 so i bought it, also bought a controler so i could play it without using the keyboard. Thought to myself how different could it be, a few buttons are different, but its overall its the same game as say Xbox, or ps2... BOY was i ever so wrong. I got online and signed up and patched the game all that good stuff, all sorts of excited to play. The first game i didnt do all to well, actually i got crushed it was 34-12. I said well the buttons were different, and blah, blah, gave myself every excuse in the book, so i tried another game. well i was my favorite team once again New York Giants. and the person i played was the Patriots. I got CRUSHED!! Beyond Crushed! the score was 56-18. on my! this person was soo good! ive played 2 more games since then and lost both! do i really suck this much or am i actually playing people who are basically Madden Gods???If you guys have any tips on anything that has to do with winning online lol please im all EARS.! Cause these people practially read my plays, they know where im running, passing everything, and when im on defence, i have no idea what they see but, i dont see it...Please im begging lol :huh:Thank You in advance.

Im looking for a course on Networking. Just dont know what is the most popular Network, or more widely used. thats what im asking. Also asked where i could find information on an Online course. the courses around where i live are 9 months minimum....and a lot of money. I just downloaded Firefox for the first time, I have to say i FREAKIN LOVE IT! just for the fact you can tab your windows! thats awsome! thats worth the switch from IE to firefox alone! Not to mention its basic....i like that about it. its just all around awsome! i havent found a flaw in it yet.

my first guess would be your PSU. only because the cd drive isnt getting any power, i would definately jump up in your watts for you PSU. Are their any other devices getting power...? anything showing that it has "some" power but not enough to work.....

I am currently looking for a computer course to take. I would like to be certifide in the Area of Networking. I would like to stay home do take the class online. Can any of you clue me in on what i should take, what is more widely used, (IE Cisco...) Also where is a good online school to take a course. Reasonably priced, course not tooo long. Been a Metallica fan for years! im 22 almost 23 and ive seen them live in North Carolina and New York. they are Amazing! i dont really care for the newest Album. I Love the song Creeping Death...its by far my favorite. the Guitar solo in that song is just down right mean! Master of Puppets, Orion, Blitzkreig, The Frayed Ends of Sanity also good songs! i seen them live in 1989 on the monsters of rock tour (i believe that was the name!) awsome, awsome, awsome! thats when they were in their prime though, they are old now and corporate America got to them, and changed there style of music. Honestly i think it was the Producer Bob Rock (?) that chaged their style, he started with them back on the Black Album i believe. thats when things started to go down hill. Black Album was the last great album from Metallica in my opinion.
