  1. I think they will surely make a ps4, maybe it will not be called ps4...we'll see, but i think microsoft, sony and nintendo wil make a next-next-gen-console. And i think we can now say not much about these system. If they are working on this now, they are in a initial stage. So i think we have to wait and enjoy XboX360 ps3 and revolution first. What will be in the ps4 also depends on what they are going to invent in the next few years. You ever saw the movie: The Island? There is a sort of virtual reality game console. But this all is futuremusic. Enjoy you live as it is now and be patient...
  2. Sorry guys, it's the wrong link. It has to be this one GameMaker. It's a .nl site. But text and so on is in English, so don't worry about that. I hope you accept my apologies.
  3. I live in holland too and you are making a little mistake. First the childs are waiting for Sint Nicolas to put something in there shoe and then they will wait for the christmas tree presents. But now we're talking about this, what are ya guys actually celebrating at thanksgiving? And what are you doing? Getting presents? Eating much and good? And ofcourse (however i don't know what is its ) Happy Thanksgiving.
  4. 'It is possible that none of the posts really made any sense. If you make a normal post you always get around 0,8 credits I believe, but not if it are one line posts. Another option is, that you posted in area's where there is no credit count. Keep that in mind if you are saving credits. My most credits in one day will be around 10 or so i think, i'm not very good in making more credits, but you have to realise, that the more credits you have, the less you will get from each post. If you are negative (like me atm) then you'll get more credits to become unsuspended (that's what i'm doing now).
  5. Here in the netherlands some people are organising a game tournament. I and a friend (and a teacher as a coach) are going to apply. You have to make a game by yourself with game maker. I don't know if you know the program. It's real cool. (no good graps or so) it's more for noobs that don't know programming language. You can only enter on high school and the team has to be from 2 to 5 members. If you live in the netherlands and want to join go to Make-a-Game. If you want to try the program go to GameMaker. So if some of you use or used the program and have some tips or hints for me to make a good game...pls post here. O and, almost forgot, it had to be a educative game. We had the plan to make an advanture game in the old Roman empire. If you're dutch, i'm hoping you will join to. (you have to apply at least tomorrow, so be quick).
  6. Really cool siggy, collors are great and indeed borders too, but the render is fantastic, good job.
  7. This seems like a very cool program, but I think i'm not gonna join, i'm sorry. But i have to do so much lately (school, games, sports) And I still want to be posting here on Xisto, so I think I have enough to do, maybe later, when i'm less busy. And there's a question too: If you don't live in Europe? Will you earn money too? And how are you paying...by credit card or something?
  8. Yea indeed, what should we do next...can it be saved, do we get a new, empty account?
  9. I'm NOT going to buy a 360 or any other next-gen console. And that's because, it's just becoming more expensive every time. I don't know how it is in dollars, but i know the games first costed €60 will now cost €70 (not all of them of course). I think that's just too much...If I would win the lotto or something, I would definitely buy one, but really, don't you guys think it's becoming to expensive these days?
  10. For the first question, i'll just have to say, you have to be patient. It just can take a few days. If OpaQue is really busy and doesn't see your upgrade post, he won't approve you too (logical). Maybe you can pm him, if he doesn't approve you. And you could also check if you post is well made. The second question...i don't know really much about MySQL...
  11. I think it's possible to install two, as said before, but it can go wrong and two scanners will make your computer much slower i think. So you can try, but maybe it won't work.As they say Norton releases more updates, but you have to pay for it. I currently use Norton Internet Security 2006 and it works very fine for me. I don't know why you should install both. Ofcourse no scanner stopts all, but Norton stops almost everything and i think anothe scanner would only be anoying.
  12. I think they make a point here. It sounds like a good idea, but when you think about it, it's not the best way to get help I think. Of course with a serious problem you should get proffesional help. And then it would be a good idea to have a contact person. But when it's only a little question, why don't ask it on forums? The asker gets credits for it. He gets muliple answers (one could be the good one). And the answerers get also credtis. If you have a serious problem with Xisto or Xisto you can always mail the technical support. So far my opinion. Good idea, but not very usefull i think.
  13. Wauwie....this is really serious. I dindn't know it could come so worse. My brother plays a game sometimes a few hours a day and my father calls him addicted! I also have a friend and his nephew played an estimate of 9 hours a day for a week. That's extremely much to me.I play World of Warcraft as well. But I have one great advantage, I almost never get addicte to games. I always need a new game. Or I play it not to much. I only play World of Warcraft like 5 hours per weer or something.Ofcourse we say that you are addicted when you play much, but when you read this story, you realise that 'being addicted' is more than that. That are people that ruin their body and lives for a game. That's not normal. I just couldn't do that. Luckely i know nobody that is so addicted to a game like this people.I really don't believe in a system that would prevent you from playing more than 3 hours or something per day. It would just be stupid. No body would be buying the game anymore. In world of warcraft, for instance, you need 2 hours or something for an instance. It isn't a great solution. The addicted people will find a way to play (another) game. It's just like forbid drugs. Addicted people will still use them. I think that people should take care of themselves. If you die from gaming, I think it's your own fault. Not the fault of the game developers.
  14. I don't know how long this is going on, but i just tried to acces it too and i also get a lot of search enignes....the when i typ in http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/'>http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ i type in http://forums.xisto.com/ i see a site with all xisto corporation features.... So I think it's indeed beiing transfered.I hope it is back online soon, but we'll have to wait for an admin to reply or untill it comes back online.
  15. I don't play any soccer games myself. I'm not a huge fan of the sports games. The only soccer game I ever played is FIFA 99. Very old game.I'll tell you what the XboX magazine said: Untill now PES has been better then FIFA, but this year the hole is much smaller. FIFA has added cool new features and the grapics are very good. PES also added a lot of things. They changed the gameplay a bit. It's now way more difficult, but that makes it more realistic. Their conclusion: The hole between FIFA en PES is much smaller this year. PES is more realistic, but not good for beginners, cus it is way to difficult. This are of course not their words, cus it's a dutch magazine and they made a whole article about it.
  16. I'm voting for Avalon....real cool siggy. Nice collor. Nice border too. And very well done with the reflection and the name in the glass. Nice render and filters. Real cool.Saint Michael - 1Samma - 0Avalon - 4Acidglow -0Mayank - 0Reaver - 1
  17. Hi m8, if you post enough here, you get supercool good qualitiy hosting...you have to keep posting to keep you site un-supsended though. You can do with it what you want. I supports mysql (don't know if it supports chinese). It's real good. For only 10 credits you have enough for a normal forum. If you want more space or bandwith, you can go for the 30 credits. Check it out.If you don't want to keep posting for you credits, then you can go to Xisto.net It gives you free ad-supported hosting. From the same Xisto quality!
  18. Today my Norton Internet Security has entered my cd-drive It's installed and scanning now. There are really a lot of options to choos from.... I can't tell you now how save it is, but I believe Norton is a very good one. I've never had problems since i used it (if you don't count the one time i forgot to update it for a month and got a vires 53 times on my computer ) And now for a year i'm also using norton antispam and i don't even see all the banners on this site, and I never get pop-ups I love it.
  19. This are really cool cases....can you get them in Europe too?? And is it only for a normal iPod ore also for Mini, Nano and Shuffle....they look nice
  20. Thanks for all the help with the first question...we'll try as soon as I see him again. As for the second question...my friend wants to instaal quicktime, that's not the problem. He uses the install program, wich installs both at the same time, but only iTunes is being installed (or quicktime is installed, but doesn't work). He told me, that he had an older version of iTunes and Quicktime before, but now (with the newer version) it doesn't work anymore.... (Actually his computer is completely broken now, cus he had deleted a file wich is important for windows to start... LOL)
  21. Yea, real tv needs a big screen...But i think that real internet, (like posting on Xisto on you mobile phone and attacking members of IPBgaming in the army system in class ) will be one of the next things that will come, but of course it's hard to say, maybe you can play World of Warcraft on you mobile phone in a few years....We'll see.....
  22. i never used fireworks, but i did use dreamweaver and i use photoshp sometimes. I think florisjuh is right...photoshop is for grapics and macromedia for programming?Other quesiton: Now adobe bought macromedia, is there going to be a new fireworks....and will the next dreamweaver will be called Adobe Dreamweaver??
  23. Grats both of you, I know from own experience that they will be two very good administrators....And i think Sain-Micheal has taken over their place as moderater, as i've just seen he's blue in the shoutbox....?? That's a good choice aswell. He's spens much time online and posts very well. And ofcourse: he's the sigg master....
  24. When I was younger I did sometimes...in games like age of mythology, empire earth, the sims ect.Now the only game I play with cheats sometimes is GTA, but that's when i'm pissed. Then I pick cheats for all weapons and life and then i'm gonna live out. KILL EVERYTHING THAT CROSSES MY PATH!!!!! Ooh, that sounds evil (har har Mwuahaha) LOL. The weakest thing you can do is use cheats in online gaming. THAT'S WEAK!! They should ban all those players, but of course they find new ways of cheating then.....I never do that....
  25. I got 2 questions regarding iPod and iTunes.First question:My friend bought a iPod Nano a few weeks ago. When you want to use it, you need iTunes. I think you all know what it is. My friend tried to download en install the most recent version. He perfectly installs iTunes, but he doesn't install Quicktime... iTunes can't work without Quicktime, so now we have a little problem...Does someone knows what we can try?Second question:The same friend has putted songs on his iPod at some friends, because he can't do it himselve, cause of the iTunes problem described above. It is been said that your iPod can only be used on one computer.... When you put your iPod into another computer, it will automaticely start iTunes and trow all songs on your iPod away. So he can't put songs on it from different computers.... Is there something to do about this problem?Great thanks in advance (from me and my friend),Moody
