  1. Wordpress is very good because there are so many plugins avaiable and people are always developing to make the experience better. The interface is easy to use and it's keep evolving. Joomla, on the other hand, is a very complex CMS. I think it's designed for people who loves programming and do their own code. It takes time to get used to the system but it's good for making a big webiste such as e-comm.
  2. Thanks everyone. I have tried RewriteRule ^(|css|images|) - [L] and it didn't work. I managed to get the CSS working by putting a slash / on every src, which is a bit long but still worth it.Does anyone know if it's possible for mod rewrite to get access a MySQL table and get data? I was thinking to put a custom fieldname in a MySQL table so we could put our own clean URL. A lot of CMS like Joomla can put their own custom URL.
  3. Hi, I decided to try some clean url (mod_rewrite) in my project. The clean url works but the CSS and images could not be found.e.g: From index.php?id=home&idPage=1 to /home/1 . My CSS was redirect to /home/css/styles.css and not css/styles.cssIs there any way to fix that?
  4. After some research, I decide to use Ruby. I did some tutorial online (without any installation and such) on Rails on Zombie and I found this language very fun and interesting. I will also try to use a Rail on Ruby's framework called NetBeans.
  5. I have played both MW2 and Black Ops. Personally, I like MW2 better because the maps in multiplayer are so much better. It's smaller so there is less walking around and less camping. There aren't really good map for sniping in Black Ops. Black Ops is basicllly a copy-paste from MW2 with new or less stuff. You basically get the same package with different atmosphere/environment but for those who never played the Call Of Duty series, Black Ops ia good game.
  6. I agree with you both. Loading a menu is just too long and the navigation is not-so user-friendly. They aren't really intuitive!I've been using the Logitech G24 (discounted now, the newest one is the Logitech G27), which has 900 degrees steering wheel and it includes the H-pattern shifter (6-speed transmission) and clutch. The experience with a wheel is amazing. I think it's pretty cheap now since Logitech released the G27, which is the successor of the G25 with improved functionality. I think it cost around 150-200$. A very good steering wheel.
  7. You can use Sumo Paint, an online photo editor that is basically Photoshop! Amazing application and it was made in Flash too.http://www.sumopaint.com/home/
  8. I own a Sony Ericsson K850i. Very easy to use and good battery life. I have always like Sony Ericsson's phone for their simple interface.
  9. I own a iPod Touch 4G and it is awesome once it is jailbreak. You can almost do anything with the tweaks. You can customize the way you want. I don't need an iPhone when I already have a regular phone that does the job.
  10. I'm a PHP/Mysql programmer and I'm deciding which programming languages should I learn between Python and Ruby on Rails? I heard Python is very easy to learn and the syntax is not hard to understand.
  11. Hi, this is my first post. Does anyone play Gran Turismo 5? After 5 years of developmene, I'm very disapointed mainly because 800/1000 cars are standard cars. You can't change wheels on standard cars. On the other hand, driving on the Nurburgring is unbelievable.
